Taipan  Trigger linkage issue.

I don't have your version and haven't had mine apart. But if what I can glean from what you are saying is that the screw backs out just enough to let the pit walk. If this is the case, how about putting a flat on the pin with a file, where the screw head fills it's gap to keep it in place even with a semi-loose screw? Unless this isn't what you were saying. Or maybe a drop of loctite blue on the screw? Or both?

N/A  Low powered guns

Aahh my kind of thread:) I’ve experienced with slugs in my fx impact but I never enjoy the louder shots and the low shotcount. Recently I went the opposite way and decided to try a 12ft-lbs tune. I started with .22 jsb rs (13.43gr) and turned the reg to 80bar and then turned the hammer all the way down until the micro adjust runs out of thread:) then tried to find some consistency in speed with the valve adjuster. I ended up shooting at 600fps so it’s more around 15ft-lbs but man! All you can hear is the hammer clicking, and then there’s the shotcount… I shot 6 28round mags from 250bar to 150bar so I suppose another 4mags from 150bar to 80?😂 now I can finally shoot my little spinners at 50yards with a pcp without throwing them over:) it’s quite ridiculous to shoot that low power with such an expensive rifle but hey I’m enjoying the crap out of shooting now:) I’ve been shooting over pigeons, they don’t even notice:)

N/A  .

My experience may be different than most, in that my guns sit in the safe (leaned up on the rack) until spring when the ground squirrels come out to ravage my cars and garden. I don't keep track of how many rounds, but the first shot or so (at my target - 50 yards) I'm like what the heck, do I need to sight this gun in? A round or two later it is shooting tight and pretty much where it should be. Anymore at the start of the season I just send the first few rounds into a steel post 30 or so yards away and then sit down to see where it is hitting.

I suspect sitting leaned up by the barrel for a period of time is my issue. But I also wonder if sitting over time the regulator has drifted or set? I'm no expert... just guessing based on my limited experience.

I'm not specifying which guns, as it seems to happen with all (some more than others), and I've had several different PCP's over the years.

Spring sparrow strategy

Let me explain, Many years ago I shot all the sparrows and after a while I had nothing to shoot, So a few years ago I thought I would take out the hens as there the ones laying the eggs, I did and all the males left no hens to stick around for, So being the super genius that I am, ( LOL) I decided to take the males out and boom all the hens stayed , Now as you can see from the picture I took out a male and a yearling with black below the beak, Yes I am taking out the young male yearlings making sure they have the male markings , I know all you air gunners are chomping at the bit for next spring when there are herds of hens and no males,, I will post up if something really weird happens if not I will update the post in the spring . Never mind the gross head shot the dam 22 polymags are sick
