Both are original early to mid 1800's production rifles.

The repeaters action is of the Girandoni type. That gun was made for hunting.

The ball reservoir gun is .40 cal and the repeater is .44

Yeah if I had a lathe and a mill I could build one.

The prices charged for airgun reseal kits (where you only get 1 or 2 rings for each specific area) are exorbitant compared to buying "bulk" from Mcmaster-Carr, O-rings & More or The O-ring Store. Of course, you'll need all the sizes to order but there should be diagrams to help with that (search Huntsman Classic exploded diagram) You never mentioned if you did a leak test with soapy spray or whatever.

I haven’t tried them I just remember someone talking about that in a AGN post some time back.
Maybe search the AGN archives under P17 HW40, and you'll find some info from someone who knows.first hand.

First order of business should be to determine approximately where the leak is coming from. Brocock have very detailed videos on how to disassemble and reassemble your gun detailing what o-ring does what along the process. My Brocock developed a leak at the air cylinder and it wasn't too difficult to narrow down which o-ring was the cause.

I use Vibra-Tite VC-3 on mine but good to know about the Permatex as a viable option.

Never used returned from aoa after installing vortek kit.

I have 30 caliber 600mm barrel MK2, also had issue with accuracy, one day I took liner out and rolled it on the glass and that thing had 1/8 bow in the middle, would not roll at all, LOL. So, I purchased CF tube on the ebay, 2MM think wall (I wish I got 2.5MM wall) Installed it, no epoxy, just tight fit over the liner, and this thing shoot 10 slugs in to one hole at 40 yards, solid improvement. So point I was trying to make, liners are now 100% straight, thats why accuracy not best

I can't answer your question, but the Texan .257 is on my short list so I will be watching this.

Hi Moog, they are Bug Buster scopes 3X12 power.
I got them from AOA for $99 each.
They are $119 now, but still the best price I could find on line anywhere.
Pretty decent little scopes for the price.

Because it's leaking wear the hose meets the adapter to tankView attachment 452970 and I can't unscrew it. The actual hose isn't leaking but I also can't unscrew it to put new plumbers tape . If you have a extra setup or at least tell me the name of what I need so I can order it . The leak isn't crazy but I'm wasting airthe hose is a actual joe b hose so it really sucks i cant unscrew it.View attachment 452972View attachment 452973

If you have decent vision in most conditions you will see a .22 or 6mm at 300 yards, or farther. Another good point this scope for the power is light weight. Gets a fair amount of use in 1000 yard benchrest due to all the above.
