Air Venturi  Avenger X Classic Wood Bottle Version

Well I decided to add this rifle to the collection. Was wanting suggestions on what accessories I should buy for it. I got the 400cc bottled classic wood version in .22 and also pre-ordered both the .177 and .25 call barrel kits for it. Any tips or suggestions on accessories would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Mike
Mike , I think you'll be happy w/ that gun & accessories . After the scope , I think you may want to look at an adjustable cheek riser . AV missed the boat on this wood stock just as they did w/ the original Avenger . I started w/ the plastic stock , then upgraded to a wood replacement, then a Buck Rail tactical. I went back to the wood stock and a Terminador bottle kit ( 1/2 stock )and I ground off the swelled ambi cheek rest , then installed an adjustable riser. The wood stock begs for adjustable furniture !

"Is this already being discussed?" Great feature here on AGN forum website.

After typing in the subject title I was wondering if it had been discussed before and it hasn't. I think it's a great feature to not only post something that's already been posted but a good search tool to boot. I know there's a search tool but I haven't used it yet.

What I wanted to post was if there was a PCP .177 SEMI-AUTO rifle available. By looking at what's been already posted the answer is NO. To bad cause I'd really like one.
Love my pro x! Thousands + of shots w/no problems!

It looks to be in place, the black surface at the front of the compression cylinder should be it.
The pic with the cocking lever retracted and the breech open shows it in place.

Thanks… I was getting inconsistent power so thinking that may be one of the causes… also wondering if a fresh one should be installed?

Small mod to the CX GS4, cause I cant help myself

Kudos to Helder 22 for an elegant mod. It's nice to have machinist skills and the equipment to implement them.

If someone is patient and can wait 6-12 months the CS4-1 will be $550 and but the newer CS4-2 will have an upgrade that you've got to have.
It never ends.

Western Airguns  Medical notice ! …. Cure to rabbit hole discovered !!!....NOP, FALSE ALARM !!

@Emu I’d been eyeing one of those a while back. Why choose a .25 over a .30? I’m curious to read of your impression of this rifle.
I already have one Vulcan 3 700 mm in .30 Cal. Two years ago I took a small white tailed deer with it.

I decided the Vulcan 3 700 mm .25 Cal because I want a rifle to be absolutely accurate at 200 yards. But I do not like to shoot birds on trees with .30 Cal unless I am 100% sure nobody is behind. It has enough power to make serious damage.

Airgun Technology rifles are built like a tank, accurate as the must, easy to carry (FX Panthera Compact Hunter with the angled manometers is not comfortable to carry).

My Vulcan 2 Tactic .25 is amazingly accurate up to 150 yards, but is lack of power for longer distance; and do not give more than 45 shots per fill.

My Wolverine HR non HP in .25 Cal is a delight to shoot with, but only up to 100 yards, also laced in power for longer distances.

The Sidewinder has the power, but the trigger do not help to be confident that you will hit a golf ball 7 of ten times at 200 yards.

When going hunting with my 30-06 normally you have one shot that HAS to be shoot perfectly. You might have follow on shots, but in must cases, in a hurry.

There is no better practice for hunting, than shooting with an accurate air rifle at 200 yards. The cost of a hunting of a life time may be ten to twenty times the cost of the Vulcan 3. You better get there sharped in accuracy.

They DO make adapters for mounting a scope on Sheridans without having to cut grooves. If I can find the link I'll post it. Found it.
I like those. They work good on Sheridans, and I like them on my Crossman H9A as well.

I don't like the mount that I bought from Baker Airguns.
