one way check valve

its not leaking at the fitting. the valve is letting the air out of the gun when I release the valve pressure valve . so to get the pressure off the fill tube
crack the bleed valve open ,,,FAST,,, slow bleeding can/might let the air out of the gun's reservoir, fast opening of the bleed valve helps seat the check valve in the guns fill port

What do you think about PAO 6-24×56 SSS SFP scope

Me personally, I wouldn't take the chance on it. It's heavy and that's something I watch for . Check into Vector Veyron it's recommend often or Hawk , UTG , Athlon , Discovery , . And 6x is a bit high for me when hunting. Usually 3-4x is what I prefer on the low side . There's many decent scopes under 200 bucks out there. Sounds like your doing some research. That's a good start.

Brocock/BRK  What’s the accessorises you couldn’t live without?

Guess that a scope, in spite of being a separate purchase, is not considered an "accessory". 😁

I could argue that a chronograph is a mandatory accessory for PCPs as well.

Just playing devil's advocate LOL!

Seriously, depending on your shooting environment/style I'd say that a bipod would be an important accessory to have.

First ground squirrel body recovered

Dang! Ones here are pretty tough too. We found one my friend shot and it was laying there suffering so I put a 34.9 grain slug through its vital at 3 yards and didn’t do much. Then another through its head and it just kept on twitching. Finally we stomped its head with a big stick and and took a few hits before it finally stopped moving. Crazy tough critters. They do a ton of damage at the property so we are there to kill them however we can, still don’t want them to suffer unnecessarily but they sure make it tough being so alert and tough.
I had a few possums at a previous place that refused to die. Multiple shots though the head and kept on going.

What magnification is a CVLife scope true mil-dot scope at?

I measure all my subtensions at home (of scopes whose subtensions aren't advertised). I set up a yardstick from my gun room to the side of my bedroom mirror with a light on it and just do the calculations, and it's actually quite accurate. Could be done at the range too--just measure the target and range and do the math as Sawney wrote above. I also mark some of my SFP mil optics for the MOA magnification too.

Other  Regulators and higher PSI airguns

I just opened my .25 600mm barreled Crown mk2 for its yearly service, cleaning and replacement of orings. I run my reg at 178b (Huma) as I'm shooting 33 gr Zan slug at 980. Great accuracy, and able to buck the wind nicely.
I found the interior very clean , with all the orings looked pretty good with the exception of the one that is located on the piston head. It appeared to be ripped. I had noticed every now and then a drop in velocity. Price of pushing the limits. No biggie, easy fix. I do add a drop of silicon oil in my fill port occasionally to keep the insides happy.

You hit on the key to all of this. "Yearly Service".

All mechanical things need occasional service. Nothing mechanical lasts forever, but perventive maintenance can sure go a long way to keep you shooting.

Sometimes we miss

I tried the thread the needle, and missed a little low. All that practice and I missed this little guy. I saw a second rat take off with it once it was up on the fence.

I might have to leave something irresistible for them tonight for a second chance.

Been there ,done that , yesterday ! I was sniping starlings until rain moved in . I pulled over into the big tractor shed to wait it out . Decided to to a few shots at the old metal backer at 30 yrds. Saw that I was hitting about an inch high, ok as that was still good for my longer shots. The rain backed off & the sun peeked out again. So back to the starling spot , I strung my camo net up on the Toyota as before ( shooting out the drivers side, my bad hip won't let me use my chair blind now, hip replacement end of month ) sat the shooting bag on the door , propped the Factor on the bag just as a starling on the roof top . I loaded the mag ,squeezed the trigger and smack ! It tumbled off the roof to the ground. Feeling pretty good about that I backed away and set up for a groundhog at an old log pile close by. I stepped outside & set up my TriggerStick tripod , figuring on a 45 yrd shot leaning against the car. After a few minutes I looked to my right & spied a hog out at 25yrds in a rock outcrop . EasyPeesy I thought . Turning slowly I rested on the hood , wishing I would have placed the bag out on it in case of this happening . I settled as best I could , held between the eye & ear as it was presenting a side profile and touch the trigger . Sounded good and the hog disappeared . I figured it fell back in the cave it had under the rock. After negotiating the single strand electric fence ( try that w/ a bad hip and metal & plastic grabbers ! ) I shuffled up to find a scuffed mark on the rock . I'd shot high ! I forgot about the hold under I needed ! Now I had to cross that dang fence for nothing ! I decided to walk around a bit and use the gate . Oh well .
