I just ordered a 10x40 Immersive from UK dealer as well. A "warehouse" type of place . Saved a bunch!! I hope it works for me. I had two MTC Connects zero-eye relief optics about 10 years ago. I sold them both. Not sure why? I might find out?

I do see some folks have sold them here dirt cheap. Mine will be for woodland squirrel hunting (not pest).

I have this one, as well as the FX case, and they do not even compare!
The FX case is nice, durable, and I feel like you might be able to drive a truck over it!
The Walmart case is flimsey, and not at all as durable.
For $50, its not a bad deal, just not nearly as durable as the FX case.

Interesting. I'm considering doing the same thing. Would installing a shorter barrel make the moderator get in the way of air tank? Also, sounds like 700 version has a 75 cc plenum (which is supposedly better for slugs), whilst the 550 version does not.

They are amazing and consistent! I did a 12 shot group with the 21.9gr and I had 8 consecutive 942fps, followed by a 939fps then a 942, then a 944 and then a 945. Out of my Katran they shoot really well out to 100yds, 1.5 - 2inches shooting from the golf cart steering wheel. The 25.3gr shoot even better but I haven't tested them at 100yds, at 50yds theyre were grouping tighter than the 21.9gr but again the 25 3gr are going 905fps and the 21.9 ar going 942 with those same settings.

FX Crown MKII in both .22 cal 600mm barrel & .177 cal 380mm barrel with Saber Tactical chassis. The .22cal barrel comes with FX Carbon fiber liner sleeve (not glued on), and FX harmonic tuner which can be used on both barrels. The gun also has Max grip knurled side cocking lever, and Fat Bastard rear aluminum grip.

Also included are 4 each .22 quick loaders, 2 each .22 cal magazines and 1 each .177 magazine, FX chronograph. Gun will be shipped in original FX hard case. Shooting .25 cal because that's what I have. One rifle likes slugs and pellets (veteran2), the other one likes pellets(condor). NSA has a deal going on until the end of June that makes shooting slugs cheaper than shooting jsb 34gns. I shoot quite a bit so I stocked up on slugs. If the pellets were cheaper that's what I'd be stock piling and shooting.

Thanks for the info. Apparently Texans need to work on their shoot off skills.

They are a awesome little rifles, The kids of the time, with the super bb repeater and a year later with the Hahn 45 single six bb pistol, all boys and girls could emulate their favorite TV and movie heroes. Western's dominated them. With shows like Gunsmoke, The Rifleman and Bonanza to name a few. These guns were great success. I enjoy shooting the rifle alot. Perfect popping tin cans around. And let's not forget the Crosman 99 .22 another innovative rifle.

I would not use salt just to prevent rust. I never had any problems with the sugar. I never needed to clean it out afterward. All the sugar just seemed to get blasted out with the shot. I do have a Bug-A-Salt now though and it is lots of fun too.

Anyone know the physical size difference in the Umarex and Crosman cartridges? Which one is taller and by how much? Anyone have pics comparing the sizes?

It's find to leave your pcp charged up. It's actually bad to leave it empty. I leave mine filled to 250 bar and stored for months up to a year with no problem. If it's not holding air then there is a leak. Use leak detector spray and find it. Easy to fix once you find the leak. Usually it's just clean and replace o ring.
