I was thinking about your post, as well as Liontracks HFT thread, and it occurred to me that a RAW HM1000 Micro Hunter could fit my needs fine.It seems like the hi cap mag is the big catch in the selection . I know that there is a guy that makes belt drive hi caps for a few different models ... including some Daystates and BRK's but I'm not sure how well they work.
The Crown you mentioned has a Smooth twist X so uses the liner system.
A Uragan I shot in 177 was incredibly good and high count but the mags were smaller.
My Theoben Rapid Mk1 has 17 shot mags and gets 125 at 20 ft lb on a fill...

I watch a lot of "Banana Ballistic" videos. The guy is a bit goofy, but the vids are usually fairly informative.AEAC is the only truly in depth reviewer of air guns , his reviews are usually 2 or 3 weeks of shooting b4 he makes the video . But i enjoy others even the "homemade short " shoot a few pellet ones . I enjoy the comparison of two similar guns .
Just , so you know I seen shooter 1721 shoot a golf ball at 200 yards , and the .30 cal Texan holds a record 1.17 mile. The Altaros did a 1" moa at a mile. We'll see. I've been deep into firearms for many years. I've long thought about an air rifle and just recently dipped my toes into it. I don't know if it will catch on for me, given my enthusiasm for firearms.
I enjoy pistols recreationally, but also stay on top of training and practice for defensive purposes. I also like precision long-range rifle shooting. Air rifles are fairly limited on distance. But so far it is fun.
@wimpanzee Double bottle is not something that I want to do. At that point, I can go with something like Crown. I quite like the aesthetic of Panthera.
@coastal drifter Thank you for the numbers, Impact could be also a candidate....I just can't stand bullpup design. Impact is really the only bullpup that has some nice lines, IMO.
Thanks for the advice, yes, I'm prepared for the stock. I have a rear support that mounts in place of the grip and has 360 degrees of smooth rotation. There is 1 important piece of information I did not mention. In order for front coaxial rest to work properly, the rifle butt stock needs to rotate slightly. The way I use the front coaxcial rest, the front of the airgun is somewhat tightly held into place in a "friction fit". This requires the rifle butt stock to slightly rotate as you adjust front elevation.
So I designed a rotating butt stock mount that fits the existing Red Panda rear rest pad. It easily mounts into place and moves in relation to the front coaxial adjustments. It took me awhile to figure out why my shots were not consistant until I mounted the rear mount. The movements are very slight, but important.
