I'm quite surprised I haven't seen any videos of these on youtube, I think I saw a post or two but not much traction was gained.Just looking to see if anyone has been putting down critters with the new 25gr Hades in .22 caliber. I don't get to hunt often and I'd like to brush the dust off my Huntsman Revere and kill some iguanas within 50 yards. I'm open to objections if my Daystate isn't enough to get the job done.
Lol I was surprised it was still up when I saw it so jumped on it ASAP. Has taken some work to get it shooting as it should but well worth the effort. So you're the one. I saw that rifle, mulled it over for a few hours, decided to buy it, and it was gone!!
Youre welcome.I'm not sure why but a laughed a little each time you hit one.
Thanks for that .
Best option would be an FX dreamline, they have settings for lower power. Or an FX impact turned all the way down. Using a JSP 13 grain.Hey folks, as it warms up here the starlings and squirrels are coming in droves. They wreak havoc on my house and most often congregate under eaves or on the roof itself for squirrels. I thought it could be some pretty fun pest control to sit out in the yard and try to pick ‘em off from their favorite spots but obviously I don’t want to do any heavy damage to the asphalt shingles, the old wooden soffit (1800s home) or anything else. What’s my best Airgun option for this job? I was thinking something in .177 that edges on the low side of ft-lbs to humanely kill the pests so in the event of a miss or pass thru the collateral is low.
Is this even possible? Or just plain stupid. Additionally there are some other houses nearby - so I can’t be slangin heavy slugs up in the air. Perhaps I shouldn’t shoot anything upwards at all. So … maybe a BB gun? That seems a bit absurd but potentially viable.
In that case, any advice to get the buggers on the ground for safe shooting?
These are European starlings (invasive where I am) and grey squirrels.
Let me know what you think or what you’d do!
The "flyers"...might...not be the body behind the trigger !?I've got a chronograph and have tried speeds from 860 to 920. It will stack 3 or 4 than you'll get a flyer. I have sorted the pellets to eliminate bent skirts. Gun is very consistent with spread of 5 fps.
No problem. I looked at other forums, and found a Steyr LP1 US Shooting Edition for a solid price. Thanks.Hey, thanks for asking. Mine was recently promised to someone at our club. All I’ve got for 10 meter at the moment is an eagle eye for a rifle sight. Sorry I couldn’t help out. Good luck.
Beatifull!Just arrived and looks great! Will post another thread once I get to shoot it.View attachment 458613View attachment 458614
I'm just saying if you are willing to empty the oil and rig up something that will support the weight on the case as shown it red such that the delicate part don't hit anything, or on the other side of the handle shown on red IMO it would be fine. Seems simple enough to rig something up to extend the handle on either side to support the weight. You have to insure that it won't move in transport and come off the support you made. This is a $5000 compressor, so,
NO - it doesn’t belong on its side.
Gages and tubing and fan shrouds are not engineered for weight bearing.
When you’ve spent this kind of money on a compressor it is silly to take short cuts to move it. Buy or rent a trailer to ship it upright on it’s weight bearing supports.
Ya, but I'm liking it's grip better for some reason ( the black). Looks to fit a hand nicer and not so bulky? ..lolIts non regulated. 40 dollars less than the wooden grip model and includes a stock. The grip is narrower with a more comfortable hold. don't know what you consider "high pricing" ?
I also checked on a rifle with the same disappointment...probably OK. I have bought enough recently atmYou almost got me....![]()
Its too bad the rifle I want (airacuda) isn't available for the coupon code, or I would've done it.
