Video of bakers dozen with the Zulus…

Is that your property? Your putting lots of dings in that sheet metal. Looks like a fun day of shooting, I like that recticle! My pard doesnt have that one.
Yes, there are “some” dings in the sheet metal, it’s inevitable. Main reason I went to a lower power platform is because of the pass throughs… In the video I believe there are only two shots where the pass through hits the sheet metal… There’s also a shot hitting the railing after passing through the starling, etc. The majority of the shots simply pass through the mesh netting on the sides of the hoop house… 🙏

N/A  Decocking pcp!!!

My in-house weapon is, when 'out' and ready is always ready to go, when in the safe in a ready state, mag is in but no round in the chamber. I don't have small children and when I did, I removed the mystery of firearms by letting them handle it, pounding it in that it's dangerous, I even bought a air soft that looked like it and let them tear the daylights out of aluminum cans with it, they got the idea., of course there was range time with PB's and their own MSR's. I'm not sure I'd keep a loaded airgun around but that's me. YMMV
Exactly!

and if we are splitting hairs .....the first rule in handling arms treat every weapon as if loaded
my ready gun is always my ready gun. no children here only aware adults living in my home.

Functional versus Superior Quality: Finding Value in Airgunning

How about "buy once and cry not at all"? I am happy with my Prod, Avenger, and 3 P35s. I also like my much more expensive Caiman. But I certainly am not crying about any of them. The Caiman arrived with the worst trigger of any of them and needed multiple fixes to it's regulator but it's shooting great now. 199 on the 30 yard challenge last week. But my P35-22 shot a 200 last year and has a 197 this year out of only a few targets with it.

It is possible to screw up any airgun. Heck it's probably possible to take a toaster apart and mess it up too. It would really help if manufacturers would put a decent amount of information in the manual but the Avenger, which cost $300, has the best manual and it is not great. Fortunately we help each other here and there are youtubes which are a big help. I also got needed help on the Caiman from Utah airguns. I've probably done the least to the avenger but I've turned the regulator all the way down and most of the way back up. I've tried multiple moderators on it and shot a bunch of pellets through it. But I've had the 25 caliber P35 completely apart including the trigger mechanism. I was literally praying I got that back together and I did. I have not taken the P35 regulator apart but I did the Caiman's Huma because it needed to be taken apart. I drilled out the transfer port, barrel port, and passage between them in my P35-25. I also put an aftermarket plenum on it. Some of these things took more attempts than others but they all got done. My point is just that while it is possible to make mistakes it is also possible to keep at it and be successful.

I appreciate the finer machining of the Caiman but that does not mean I don't also like my P35s. The cocking is a little sloppy but the trigger is not and they are light, short, and accurate. I appreciate the fact that we all get to decide how to spend our money but I think it is wrong to suggest that the result of buying a under $500 PCP is we will "cry". Or be significantly dissatisfied with the purchase. That has not been my experience at all. 3 brands, 5 purchases and they are all fine guns.
You got a point there. I enjoy shooting my wildcat most.

Arken App and Android problem

My phone says the device is connected but the app just stays on the connect device screen.
I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app, swapped to a new phone(vs 13), still the same.
Arken responded to my first email questions the other night at almost like it was live emails after 2:30 AM eastern. My email the next day after trying their suggestions has not yet been responded to after almost 48hrs.
View attachment 471043so frustrated.
Does anyone have any advice?
I'm also not impressed at night. I need to try again tonight just to make sure the flip cap isn't blocking the IR.
The daytime images is fairly fuzzy as well. I have a red shot sunshade with the iris flip cap I may try to see if image clears up.
I'm thinking I have a bad unit.
Did you get your scope Problem solved?

Baker’s Dozen for my Wicked Atomic XR

Get on with your bad self Luis! "The Sparrownator"! (Starlings beware too!). Good job, great guns.
The Atomic is simply murderous at those distances and conditions. Am sure other PCPs would do as well… Today I scouted two chucks that saw me first. I will be setting up on those suckers with the Ghost…

Airforce  Has anyone tried a Chinese airforce regulator?

IMHO, I would not buy any product from China that has been cloned from a reputable US company. You are taking a chance with a product that may or may not work and you have no recourse to recoup any money. Malfunction of the product that could damage your product and void any warranty that might be left is not worth the difference in price between the US Model and the Chinese illegal clone. High Pressure Air is dangerous and you are risking a lot just for some cheap Chinese Junk. If you are set on doing this just pick one of the clone manufacturers and go for it.

I have belonged to several PB forums and still do to a couple.
In the years that I have belonged to forums the issue of buying from fellow forum members and getting ripped off has never been discussed anywhere near as much as here.
Are air gunners a mistrusting lot or are there more bad actors in our midst?
For generations, hunters and shooters have felt a kinship. And this would refer to firearms, not air rifles. The airgun hobby is newer, and the high end precision market even newer, and it probably includes a lot of folks who are not historically "gun people", and thus there is not the same inherent mutual trust. I don't know if there are many (or any) more bad actors, but there is definitely a fear of it. I may be totally wrong, just my opinion.

Skout  Shooting the Skout EPOCH .30 at 70 & 100 yards (Video)

Considering they are new to airgunning, and the first gun is a year and change old, I think they are doing great so far. They have gone way, way beyond the usual customer service for me. I’m cheering for them for sure!

Air Venturi 4500 psi Compressor

Can't find anything on pyramid Air about a rebuilt kit or an o-ring kit for that compressor. I did find this on eBay

Groundhog Mandible Crusher

Fantastic shot and video!
Thanks a bunch!
Done deal on that burrower. Nice shot. I do miss the beep, beep, beep and circular reticle effects that used to accompany the slow-mo.
Really? I'll add those in on some future videos!

**Found**PARD Thermals

my opinion having used pards and atns is i much prefer an atn, and i have both 4kpro nv and a thor4 384 and a couple of pard clipons .. it really depends on the exact scenario on which i would choose, but a couple things - i tend to do all night steak-outs and monitoring a thermal is harsh + its not always easy to tell what exactly your looking at ... the pards i have, the main issue is controls, it feels like i got to fudge with 15 things for every change of target area .. the atn nv now, thats what i usually like to use, and if i was monitoring something way out, say 80+, id just use a bigger torch like a sniper pro hog light .. so yeah, id say that and a 4k pro is gonna be my choice of setup 'over' a bargain-end thermal ... id say if you want to beat that setup with a thermal your gonna be north of 3500$, think 640 40x .. there is the logistical issue of the torch, extra batts, seperate mounting like a tripod for it, but thats pretty minor once ur rolling ... cheaper and better in the price range, even with the better torch, my opinion
