Traditional Rifle  SOLD TX200 .177 - 22mm piston build - 12fpe

SOLD: Sorry my inbox was inundated - if I didn't get back to you please don't take offense. Guess I should have asked more!

Built this up a couple years ago. Got a left hand action that I'd sold nearly 10 years ago back from the guy that bought it - it was the the most accurate one I'd owned. Action is in a right-hand stock. In some ways easier to load on the bench and sitting since the opening is on the left. If I kept it I'd scallop the stock.

Shoulder injury forces sale. Probably PCPs for me from here on out.

I have not run it over a crony in ages but it's' about 11.5fpe. Shoots great. It's running a 22mm light piston and comp tube from Tony in the UK (look up on the forums or Facebook). Also has Tony's magnetic underlever latch which is super cool - no tension between the underlever and the barrel.

Asking $400 plus shipping. Will include 5 cans of JSB 8.4 too. SCOPE, RINGS AND HARD CASE NOT INCLUDED

FX  IS ALL OF THIS FX HYPE FOR REAL 🤔......

Interesting thread. The first "adult" air gun I shot (a few years ago) was an FX Impact M3. A dude at the range had it. (I was there shooting powder burners.) I was super-impressed. It looked cool. He let me shoot it. I put 5 pellets in one hole at 25 yards. Super-quiet. I thought, "I want one!"

1749815391245.jpeg

Then I learned it was $2100 just for the rifle! It's not that I can't ever spend that on a rifle. But I can't justify it as my first air rifle. That's almost as much as I paid for my FNH SCAR-16S.

A few years later and a couple of weeks ago, I got my first grown-up air rifle, the Marauder F&T (Lothar barrel). For about $2100, I got the rifle ($780), a good scope, a fill tank, some extra magazines, and several tins of pellets.

I've seen the "your mileage may vary" reviews of the FX rifles. And I've had my Marauder at the range only twice so far. I'm still learning how to "air gun." It's definitely different. And fun. But given that I have done nothing to the rifle, and I'm still figuring out which pellets it likes... I've been very impressed with the performance (and "bang for the buck") of the Marauder. I really like it!

Some "cherry picked" targets on my 2nd range outing ever with the Marauder. I figure I'll get even better with it.

So.... I think I still eventually want an FX. Or do I??? :) But I also don't want to be disappointed. For that much more money, I'd expect that much more performance. How much better will it be?

One thing I've learned in the precision powder burner world, is that a good shooter with an economy rig will do better than a not-so-good shooter with the "best" rig money can buy. My Ruger Precision Rifle (very much an "econo" precision rifle), in my hands, will consistently shoot sub-1/2 MOA out to 300 yards with factory ammo. Here's a 1/2-MOA group WITH the "flyer!"

How easy / hard is it to sell on here.

Check the tax laws please, this is largely untrue.

If an airgun is sold at a loss, it's exempt (check for details with your CPA) as the first $600.00 of sales annually.

Also, running a P&L sheet, just about any attached expense can be deducted and your loss comes off the bottom line.

Most people who have a CPA would not realize a tax burden at all for what we do.
You are going to need receipt proof you sold it at a loss. You can't just claim it was at a loss.

Brocock/BRK  Brocock Commander Magnum xr .22

Congratulations on your Brocock. Those magnetic fill covers are also my first world pet peeve on my Brocock and my Daystate! Yes they are hard to grab, particularly when it is cold out and the fingers are a little stiff. I also wish they had a little tether or some special place on the gun to place them while you are filling. I can’t count the number of times I thought I had lost one at a field target match until my wife asks me about this thingamajig she found in the dryer😂.

Projectiles  SOLD Hatsan Vortex Supreme .30 Pellets

Sold my last. 30, so I'm selling my .30 pellets.
Last to sell, are my Vortex Supreme .30 44.75gn. These were hands down, my most accurate .30 pellets, when you could get them. Do a search on the forum for these. You'll find out that they were all that.

$12.50 a tin shipped. You pick how many tins you want.
Paypal f&f, or open to other payment methods.

Check my feedback; it's all good.

2024 Northeast Airgun Classic Results

Yup. Good scores. I was only looking at the finals shooting 44.75 JSB .30 for the three tournaments that he won compared to his score with 50 grain AEA .30 at the NAC. Seems he “fixed” what wasn’t broken? 😉
We tested the 50 gr and it consistently did better than the 44 gr. We took some risk going into this competition modifying our prototype guns. As always we're trying to improve it. Before going to NAC, our regulator was sticking so we decided to machine down the slightest amount of the o'ring groove. We tested it and it worked awesome. We made additional ones and sent it to our shooters. Thayne, Val, Jeremey. Well the temperature in Florida is a lot warmer than in New Hampshire :) The cold shrunk the o'ring and now with a deeper o'ring groove, didn't work too well for the reg. It wasn't until after the first card that we realized this and spent the night fixing it. Compare Val and Jeremey's day 2 cards and see what the Panda can do. Thayne's gun was still creeping so he made last minute decision to use Bin's gun. Given that we were in an Airbnb, we had no place to sight in or test the gun. Production gun's scope rail has built in 30 MOA compared to the 0 in the prototype. We are super grateful John gave us 15 mins to site in the scope. I think given the circumstances leading up to the finals Thayne did really well. Bench numbers definitely plays an important part hence you have to draw for them. PJ, Thayne, Nickoli and Keith sat next to each other and they got a lot of tail wind. All great shooters and any of them could've won really. Now that production version is available and built to our liking. No more tinkering! The reg in the prototype was from existing guns not specific to the RP. The production version has all parts designed specifically for RP. Overall great match by North East Airguns!
