DAR  More DAR frustration

tell us how you really feel
Is what the gun was worthy of. I actually sold it full disclosure of problems at a great loss and the buyer ended up keeping the barrel I think Trashed the rest. I was wrong..it was actually a Gen 2. I have a jts that has many parts that look similar. I was super super hesitant to buy that because it looked darish but it has been great. I never shoot it but it has been super accurate every time I have and has always held air perfectly.

I enjoyed this Air Arms s510 rabbit hunt video

In many countries around the world, the European rabbit, Oryctolagus cuniculus is an introduced pest. The above video was filmed in the UK where I believe rabbits are an introduced pest and there is no “bag limit”. European rabbits were introduced into Australia and New Zealand 150 years ago and have multiplied into the millions, and cost the farmers and land owners hundereds of millions of dollars every year.
Hunters and pest controllers are encouraged to shoot them because of the damage they do to crops, fields, gardens, paddocks etc.
I do professional pest control in New Zealand, I get paid to shoot between 200 and 450 rabbits a month.

Other  78G

That muzzle velocity is consistent for a 78g in original configuration. I've run a few of my 78gs across a chrono, and the ones with rebuilt original exhaust valves were 355-370 fps. Those with the white replacement valves were 405-415 fps average. The service manual lists 320 fps as the factory minimum velocity for the first 20 shots from a new CO2 cartridge.
Thank-you sir.

Airgun compressed air

Air is 78% nitrogen. So you're going to fill it mostly with nitrogen regardless.

Putting in dry air is not a huge mystery, however. I have a second stage of filtration on my YH with the plastic cartridge (inside the aluminum cylinder) filled with color changing dessicant beads. If the beads did not all change color during the fill, the air is dry. If they did, it might be best to vent the tank. I've never had that happen, however. I can fill my 45 minute SCBA tanks at least half a dozen times before I need to change the beads. I got my extra filter and the dessicant from Amazon. There are more expensive ways to do this that I am sure have some advantages but this way is inexpensive, simple, and it works.

Who's amped for RMAC?!

If you consider the Karma Red Panda an AEA, I'll take that bet!

On a serious note, if you look at the list of shooters in the Pro 100Y BR event, it has the feel of a World Championship. I'm just hoping I can make the Finals... ;)

Good luck!
Hope to see you on the podium!

TX200

I don’t understand the shrink wrap tubing on the guide but would like to know about it. I’m near sea level also.
OK if ya have a lot of free play on the piston shaft when its inside the main spring?put the shrink wrap on the shaft will snug it up ,but not tight.lightley grease the out side of the main spring.Ya might have to resize the main seal?should go down the tube with not much pursuer. Mine is one of the frist TX they were probable a little tighter?OK everybody go ahead and haight me.

N/A  Career Dragon Slayer vs mid 1700's big bore.

How was it pressurized/filled with air? Did they carry a hand pump of some sort back then?
Correct, it would of had a handpump that would screw into the fitting hidden under the buttplate.

When filled, the second shot from the Bosler did 582. Shot three was in the low 500's

Crosman  3622 accuracy?

Got my 3622 all sorted out. 2-7x32 with low SM mounts. Crazy winds today but good enough for soup cans. Trigger is the low point but is manageable. Decent first stage and a gritty four pound pull. Going to be a deck gun for sh!t birds on the feeders and can plinking. Would be a great starter PCP for a responsible child or woman.

6L 275psi 12” barrel dump valve Golf ball sender.

Oh that looks bad, Got to take a video of it in action, I alway thought a potato gun would be so much better shooting golf balls or tennis balls

It’s just for inflation of tractor and other big tires. Modified bead blaster. Dual duty and safer than starting fluid. I’ve burned myself getting tires seated lol so I speak from experience.
