I have this same scope, as well as a Ares BTR FFP, I prefer the 2nd FP Midas, the glass seems better than the Ares.

Is what the gun was worthy of. I actually sold it full disclosure of problems at a great loss and the buyer ended up keeping the barrel I think Trashed the rest. I was wrong..it was actually a Gen 2. I have a jts that has many parts that look similar. I was super super hesitant to buy that because it looked darish but it has been great. I never shoot it but it has been super accurate every time I have and has always held air perfectly.

In many countries around the world, the European rabbit, Oryctolagus cuniculus is an introduced pest. The above video was filmed in the UK where I believe rabbits are an introduced pest and there is no “bag limit”. European rabbits were introduced into Australia and New Zealand 150 years ago and have multiplied into the millions, and cost the farmers and land owners hundereds of millions of dollars every year.
Hunters and pest controllers are encouraged to shoot them because of the damage they do to crops, fields, gardens, paddocks etc.
I do professional pest control in New Zealand, I get paid to shoot between 200 and 450 rabbits a month.

Update.... Umarex sent me the replacement and it fit perfectly. I also took the opportunity to confirm the thread diam. and pitch by purchasing a nut in said thread and it is indeed 3/8-24.

Airgun Revisions is great to deal with, I recently purchased one of his refurbished Akelas and it’s rock solid. I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase another airgun from there!

Air is 78% nitrogen. So you're going to fill it mostly with nitrogen regardless.

Putting in dry air is not a huge mystery, however. I have a second stage of filtration on my YH with the plastic cartridge (inside the aluminum cylinder) filled with color changing dessicant beads. If the beads did not all change color during the fill, the air is dry. If they did, it might be best to vent the tank. I've never had that happen, however. I can fill my 45 minute SCBA tanks at least half a dozen times before I need to change the beads. I got my extra filter and the dessicant from Amazon. There are more expensive ways to do this that I am sure have some advantages but this way is inexpensive, simple, and it works.

I believe that those are the same rifles that Timmy Mac used to train kids with.

Donated by Beeman, they served the purpose quite well. Lots of toy animals, soldiers, and dinosaurs were sent flying by the kids with them. Good times were had and much was learned.

I have a new Zulus scope and also noticed issues with my iPhone connection. The screen would lock up and the range is terrible. I haven’t tried anything with an Android based operating system. I haven’t setup any profiles yet but I’m really enjoying it otherwise.

This is a 10 shot group @ 15 yards The 1 low and left was the first shot. I rushed it. So I’ll take the blame for it.
Was trying different pellets and this is one it definitely likes.

I ordered some composite type that slide over the picatinny rail and then there are set screws that lock them into place. I got mine on Amazon. They are cheap. I seen last week the same company offers a flip up sight that also can be utilized when folded. Those might be another option.

OK if ya have a lot of free play on the piston shaft when its inside the main spring?put the shrink wrap on the shaft will snug it up ,but not tight.lightley grease the out side of the main spring.Ya might have to resize the main seal?should go down the tube with not much pursuer. Mine is one of the frist TX they were probable a little tighter?OK everybody go ahead and haight me.

Correct, it would of had a handpump that would screw into the fitting hidden under the buttplate.

When filled, the second shot from the Bosler did 582. Shot three was in the low 500's

Personally, I wish all safeties were like the AR15, push down to fire like the Panthera but with the lever on the left or better yet reversible from left side to right side. At least put it one way and leave it there.

You won’t regret the Atomic even if it’s a little more pricey now

Got my 3622 all sorted out. 2-7x32 with low SM mounts. Crazy winds today but good enough for soup cans. Trigger is the low point but is manageable. Decent first stage and a gritty four pound pull. Going to be a deck gun for sh!t birds on the feeders and can plinking. Would be a great starter PCP for a responsible child or woman.
