I will, thank you for the heads up.Try Black Oil Sunflower seeds as bait. They're inexpensive & rodents find them hard to resist.
Had one on a 2500 carbine and it made it basement friendly at 80 fpe lolI needed a mod for a Sumatra (10mmX1 thread) he was near instant in turning one out and the construction and sound are awesome.
You got it... there are 3 versions of housings that I know of besides my own... Memory isn't perfect but I believe the second and third were in the first year of production. I'd have to look back at my testing to be sure but believe mine arrived in August of 2019.Bob can definitely tell you better than
I, but in several chrony cleaning videos I saw them talk about (and sometimes compare) the housing that attaches to the barrel. It appeared the chrony stayed the same but they changed the housing. One of the changes appeared to be airflow related back up into the shroud.
That sounds awesome, let me know when the website is up and running. If you like learning about the line, I've been working on content for a website that will give you far more info than you ever wanted to know about them! I hope to get it up and running later this summer.
Your 790 would be a good starting point for a try at a rebuild. The steps are the same for your 78g, but a few parts are slightly different. As for a rebuild kit, check out eBay and look for Henry Ford, aka crosman600repair. His kits include a new exhaust valve and a small bottle of oil. The seals are all standard except for the large CO2 piercing assembly o-ring which is urethane. Some kits are all urethane, but they are a pain to install and it doesn't seem like they are all necessary!
Just ordered the one from your link - thanks again! We manufacture some electrical assemblies that are potted with 2 part epoxy and one of the quality checks we perform is a Shore A hardness test. I have bought 15 or so of these cheap ones from Amazon for the techs to use during assembly. We haven't had any problems with them and they all seem to be very accurate. The parts we are measuring range from 65-85 Shore A in hardness.
I'm already adjusting his turrets and loosening his action screws for himAnd Jeff shot well for his 1st time attending this match ! We should prolly start bleeding his tank for him when he's not looking .
Good morning @thomasairI got to take a coworker to the ER to get stitched up and remove pvc shards from his arm and face after he bumped a fitting with a piece of lumber while removing it from a rack. He ended up with a meager settlement from the incident that has allowed him to live work free in a crappy camper in Montana. Some guys have all the luck.![]()
What do you look for to determine a quality slug? I know what I look for when casting my own slugs, just wondering what you consider good.Just wondering who comes to mind when you need that quality made slug? I have 3 that make very high-quality slugs. not in any order. Welder Jon, Kcslugs and now Neal Tressler.
