Well yes and no… yes a bigger hole may eliminate clipping but making a hole bigger to make up for sloppy off center Machine work is well….sad.Always use two size bigger moderators: 22 go to .30 Cal moderator. That way you won't have a clipping problem.
How is the .30 caliber version and have you tried any slugs? I'm interested in getting a .30 caliber Leshiy 2.Hello everyone!
I’ve decided my next big purchase is going to be Leshiy 2. Caliber TBD.
I want the .35 because it just seems awesome.. bigger is better, right?
Realistically, I think Ill do fine with a 30 or lower as I currently only own 25 and 22 and I’m going ok.
With that said, I had a few questions.
1. If I’m correct, the 9mm version is compatible with all calibers, but the 177-30 is not compatible with 9. Does the 9 have any reliability concerns when swapping to a smaller caliber? Does it use an adapter to go to .30 and below?
2. How does L2 in .25 at a medium power tune compare to Leshiy classic in .25? Makes no difference what the answer is, I’m just curious as that is what I’m shooting now and it’s very quiet.
Thanks![]()
lol. I know I would have never believed those things would come in to daylight bright blinding lights until I discovered those guys. Pretty crazy."If you say something enough times, long enough, it becomes true"
I think that is a very fair assessment of the shoot.Considering that your shooting conditions and rifle tunes were not similar at all, I would judge both rifles to be equivalent. Even shooting the same rifle for four cards would likely result in the same spread in scores. Nice shooting.
My thoughts exactly!Quality control is the answer. The bore that the rods slide through are just a little bit bigger on one over the other or the rod diameter is different between the two.
Very nice I especially like the 59.My favorite airgun of all is still the vintage sheridans up to about 1976. Ive tried many others from Crosman to Daystate but there was and still is I believe one brand that beats them all---Sharp Ace Hunter. Ive bought mine at a gun show in NY from Davis Schlesinger back i the 90s brand new in the box. When I got home I put 5 shots thru the same hole at 10m using the metal peep sight that came with it. Then I pumped it up 10 times and it put a crosman premier 14.3 gr pellet across the chrony at 850fps. 4 pumps shot at 600fps ! No cocking just like the old crosman 140/1400s . I sold it. My 3 sheridans are all the pumper I need.

Hi,
I’m in search of a certain scope. I know the attributes, but not the scope. It is FFP, has a very useable reticle for airgun holdover and has “excellent” glass.
Since excellent is subjective, I’ll define it through my own experience. Better glass than Sightrons STAC line, at or above their siii line.
16x or 24x magnification, ~10-15 parallax
Might “Compromise” on glass and just go with their Stac line, but want to make sure I weigh all my options. Any help welcome
