Redman Barrel Liners? Anyone using in airguns??

I bought a couple of the Red Man barrel liners in 223 was very pleased with the one I cut down to 700mm
and installed in my FX Impact but ended going with the 32" one and cut it down to 31.5" and installed it in
a FX 800mm barrel went together very easy and just needed one wrap of clear packing tape to make it work
with the FX 22 cal fittings, shoots the RWS 41.5 grain at 980 fps and shoots really well at long distance
Awesome😀 I figured they would work with a FX...You really can't complain about there prices and twist rates...I ended up ordering a CHASZEL barrel liner .224x 12 twists 28 inch length=$68.00..The diameter of liner a little bigger and will help.when sleeve ing barrel... I'm waiting for the liner to get here😀 Then i.will hand lap it... Thank you so much for your valuable information!!!!!

Someone talk me out of this…

I posted the issues I'm having so far with my Mega

So far I've only been able to put 500 rounds through it, my bullet guy is taking a bit longer to bring me my order but as soon as it comes I'm going to put another 2k rounds through it over the weekend and see how it handles it.

1 of the issues the Mega is having is that on a full mag of slugs heavier than 230 the mag pops out and doesn't let you pump it/cycle it. You have to push the mag back in place, then cycle it.

I think it's a combo of weak detent and the weight of the slugs as it's cycling, turning in the mag the inertia unseats it out of the gun.
Similar issues with the weak spring can't rotate the 480 gr .58 slug around so I shot it dry twice as two were not able to spring into place

Thanks for letting us know. I was waiting to see some shot string data and photos of some groups. That stock upgrade would've been nice to see as well.
Thanks I had thought about the stock upgrade but got to thinking that having to drive 45 miles to the range just to shoot it I decided to sell it when a fellow offered to buy so with nothing to hunt except coyotes here I let it go.

FX  Do I need a slug power kit?

I would be inclined to buy 2-3 different slugs in the weight range you want to shoot. If they don’t perform to. Your satisfaction with the standard liner try the slug liner and higher speed. Somewhere in that mix you should find a combination that works.
When I first started shooting slugs 3 years ago guns were really sensitive to different slugs. Now it seems I can get different brands and weights to shoot better than I cold before.
As a note of reference, my Panthera 600mm 25 loves Zan 33 gr with the slug liner that came in the gun. It prefers higher speeds of 985 - 1010 fps. I shoot it at 985 to keep air consumption somewhat limited.
Just wondering what sort of shot count you get with that?

HW 50 Accuracy improvement by accident

If I understand correctly, the O-rings go on the barrel then, the sleave goes over the O-rings. I would be curiosity to know how it shoots if you just put the O-rings on the barrel and leave the shroud off. The O-rings might be acting to change the harmonics like the old "decelerator" donut was supposed to do.
Correct, the o rings slide onto the barrel (about 6 if i recall correctly) then i slid the CF tube over top. When i removed the tube a few times to check with and without the tube, i left the orings in place on the barrel. Even with the orings in place (and no tube) the groups still opened up to the original size. (Without orings and tube.)
