I would keep it .22 better shot count and will kill most critters out to 50 yards, I had the same setup (250) short and sweet.

I bet it’d be fast, might be almost too fast for a gun sized tank. Just a guess though.

They were available as an option-I was going to get one but ended up with a FWB 124 instead. Price was $145 if I recall, the FWB sport with the plain stock was $165.

Yeah, I had the same thought. Just grind enough away from the mod in order for the tube to fit. This way, the overall lengh remains the same. Which is a priority for me.

In the beginning, 90% of your hit rate is determined by your technique, scope holdover setup and ranging, and wind doping ability. That leaves not much difference.

The complete lightweight system (shroud, barrel, transfer port) is only tightened by 2 small screws and 1 bigger at the breach. Spacers do move because of air pressure in shroud when shooting. They also move when taking off/putting on the shroud. The whole lightweight setup is a joke from FX that havent been seen again. They moved back to the liner housing tube with the jam nut which is much better.
Some ppl have modified the lightweight setup with a carbon sleeve and 3d printed shroud spacers to fit over the sleeve and a barrel/bottle tensioner - that should be better.
The lightweight system is a laugh.

I have one of those .257 builds. I never tried putting a 25 cal pellet in the breach... good idea
