Attention Europeans - If you refuse an order from this "merchant": Area419 you lose your money!

"My mistake is that I trusted Accu-Tac who recommended Area419 to me". Sounding more like blame deflection all the time.

Having been a businessman over four decades, I'll speculate the standard 20% restocking fee isn't enough to motivate the sellers to continue wasting their time ("is money") to overcome obstacles preventing them from issuing a refund. A combative attitude likely also isn't motivating them.

Umarex  .

It looks like they effectively addressed the major obstacle to folks getting into PCPs; that being the peripheral costs of actually being able to pressurize the gun. I'm interested in seeing if using plastic, plastic, and more plastic, and replacing the PCP charging-equipment expense hurdle with disposable nitrogen cartridges that add thirty-plus cents PER SHOT proves a viable or marketable approach.

If asked for my opinion, I might say "I doubt it." However, that speculated, I often underestimate Modern Man's aesthetics, common-sense, and forethought deficits.

I foresee situations where, after a few $12.50 cartridges spent attempting to repair a leaker the gunsmith realizes it cheaper to buy a new rifle than repair it. Hence the $12.50 disposable-cartridge power-source renders the rifle itself disposable if/when it springs a leak. But hey, it's not like airguns display any propensities whatsoever to spring a leak at any time, for any reason, or no reason; usually at the worst possible moment. Right?

All that said, and being a huge fan of ($00.50) disposable-cartridge Co2 guns, was the new Umarex wood-stocked, devoid of plastic, and $50 more expensive, I might buy it.
.
That's great, unbiased insight.

Panthera taking out some ground squirrels

I have the reg set at 150 bar. I cant remember what the macro and micro are set at. I am at work and didnt bring it with me today so I can check when I get home if you want that info. With the reg set at 150 bar I hit the plateau at 1045 fps.
Close enough thanks, I've got a Maverick and not fond of pushing it that hard.

FX  Help tighten up SD/ES with Slugs

I use napier power pellet lube, I don

I use Napier power pellet lube on all my ammo, I dont know if that will help but I believe it keeps my barrels cleaner longer.
Keeping the bore as consistent as possible is the name of the game. One of the ways you’ll know if your lube isn’t right is if you have to shoot some shots through your gun before it starts grouping good again. This has happened with several lubes I’ve tested.

FX  FX impact regulator in Panthera

3-4 bar drop till it is off the reg as well. If it sits over night, the pressure goes back to set pressure. I was thinking of putting softer spring to help get back to pressure
Finally got a response from HUMA. They say the 3 bar swing is normal with the small piston design and if you have it turned correctly, it won't effect the fps. There was no mention of changing out the springs to eliminate this.

RTI  Prophet p3 plenum

Did some leg work with mine today. Didn't shoot for groups as it's intermittently windy then dead calm. Also bear in mind that this rifle isn't broken/settled in yet, even with todays shots I still don't have 250 total shots through it as I was waiting on these plenum additions. There are two FX slug groups as I spaced adjusting the parallax for the closer target and chrono work. Came set from dealer at 125 BAR reg pressure. Rifle is 25 cal Performance model.
I don't really expect to see too much of a change until I go up on reg pressure, do get more shots per fill now obviously.
As set from the dealer with an FX 25gr pellet it shot.-----My results with a JSB Exact King 25.39 after install and readjust to 125 bar reg pressure

I have other NSA slugs of this type on hand but have yet to figure out where I put them. Also have Corbin swage die to duplicate these in any weight I want but it took over 18 months (20 I think) to get them so had everything put away when the dies finally arrived and don't know when I will get around to setting that up and seeing how it works out.
The slugs need more speed, but had I been set up for groups it looks like everything, but the FX would have been one-hole groups minus the odd flier with the NSA.
Also looks like the more I shot the more the reg and pressures settled and as I said earlier it isn't broke in yet.

Airforce  Airforce Texan stripping out issues

My understanding is the heavy hammer spring is main cause of those screws stripping out. I have the AAO kit for my .510 LSS but don’t plan on installing until I have another Texan.
Nah I've seen it do it on a stock gun I ended up deciding to buy a .357 extreme big bore

Compressors  SOLD Battery Powered Compressor New in Box

Want one of these? They work awesome. I have two so this one goes. I love these battery compressors. No need for tanks to fill your gun. Tanks not so good anyway if your filling 4000PSI as many guns now do. Easy portability. Battery lasts through many top offs. Use your Makita 18V batteries if you want. You can use other 18V batteries if you buy a 10 dollar adapter. You can even buy a plug-in power supply if you prefer that at home. Asking 260.00 shipped to CONUS PP/FF preferred. Call/text Ron 714-296-4789.

N/A  First air rifle choice

Been a while but I ended up with a Taipan Vet .22 Long paired with an Athlon Helos BTR Gen 2 2-12x42 optic. Fits perfect in the Pelican V730. Maybe a bit heavy but is just a fantastic and solid air rifle. Only fired out to around 10-15yds but have been able to get nickle-ish sized groups standing. Need to get it somewhere to test out to 30yds+ benched.

AEA  hp max .357 fill port leaking

my max .357 is now leaking from the fill port & wont hold any air. i thought i once saw how to fix this but cannot locate it now. can any one help?
So I fixed it it was indeed that's true inside the tank that needed to be adjusted but I backed it all the way out and it was corroded with I don't know like oxidized it wasn't quite rusted but it had a lot of buildup on it so I took it each part of it apart there was a screw a little pin thing and a spring and I took a wire wheel with adrenaline took off all the buildup on it and the O-ring was that was supposed to be on the pin thing it was totally missing and I bought so many O ring kits from various different places and the only one that I could find that would fit that would work is the ones you get for if you play darts the ones that go in between like the shaft and the barrel to keep them from unscrewing was the only o-ring that I can find it would work and then I got some silicone grease and replace the two O-rings on the part that goes into the gun that has the the screw in it and I replace that little tiny holding on it with silicone grease put it all back together and it held it's holding air and everything's back and working order
