AEA  HP SS: Pellets get stuck in the hammer/trigger

After about 1000 rnds, my HP SS + would stop firing. During the firing cycle, at least 1 pellet per magazine would follow the bolt probe rearward, getting stuck in the hammer/trigger area.
I finally discovered that a worn breech O-ring was to blame. After replacing it, flawless cycling resumed.

Tuning  Tensions, pressures, Shot count, consistency

I tune my guns in the same manner you have yours tuned. In my experience when you shove reg pressures well above what you need to obtain your target velocity the ES and STD deviation go heck and that bothers me. However it may produce really good accuracy at 45 yards.
I zero at 44 for 2 reasons. I have 3 PRIME locations at my main pesting spot where the sparrows, pigeons and starlings FA AND FO. One happens to be exactly 18.5y from my murder hole, one is 44-47 depending which joist they perch on and the last is 55.1- near 60 depending which branch. 18 and 44 are identical in elevation.. 10 is .28mil h/o, 15 is .8mil h/o 18-45 are exactly dead hold zero. 60 is .9 at 860fps. 2 weeks ago now. One sideshow mag, 14 rounds fired 13 pests deleted. The results are constant. And directly correlate to my element app and Anemometer. I've slightly re adjusted to 109bar, 18 on the wheel, getting a 41 shot average of 857.2 SD of 3.7fps and Exteme high of 863.4 and extreme low of 851.9. I think I'm in the "Preferred Groove"

I wasn't alone in hunting these rodents... Cat too

The farm cat was busy hunting its own meal as well. Strangely, it didn't take any of the dead rats that I have shot. I guess it prefers to get its own food.
My HW100T was shooting straight and accurately again with the Hades 16gr pellets. A great combination for rats shoot especially with two easy to load 14 shots magazine.

Enjoy.

Snowpeak  M60(B) add-on plenum. Any experiences?

With a M60B in .35, i got a specific interest in the external plenum. before i get in contact with the south african phone number about it, i wanted to check in here, if anybody has any experiences with this or other versions of such an extension and where to get them preferably in the EU zone? What are your thoughts on such in general?

Also detailed pictures of the sections of the gun that are mentioned to be extended in diameter, would be very interesting for further tuning.

N/A  AEA pellets are that good .

I'm always willing to try a new pellet. But the only thing offered in .22 is way too heavy for my springers. Do they make any 14-15 grain pellets?

It looks like they are more about the heavy pellets for PCPs than springer weight pellets in .22 cal.
Yes. Utah Air doesn't carry them. But they make 15.89. aea and jts are what I find performs best out of everything

Projectiles  SOLD Rocky Mountain Reloading (RMR) Mothers Day coupon codes: 6% & 8% off

*** This was Mother’s Day weekend 2024 only and is now outdated just FYI ***

Rocky Mountain Reloading (RMR) sent out some coupon codes to their subscribers for Mothers Day:

---8% off factory seconds code: THANKSMOM
---6% off everything code: MOMROCKS

If not already aware, RMR manufactures the slugs for FX, which they call their "SLAP" airgun slug, and this is the only airgun projectile they produce. Of note, they only offer factory seconds in .30 and .35 if interested in going that rout which even before the coupon codes they run these at approximately 2/3 the price of their factory firsts. Either avenue you choose, they are a fair bit cheaper than buying them re branded for FX, even on a normal day without coupon codes.
