Hobby creep…

If I’m not mistaken the Scott tank burst rating is 12,000 psi, so almost 3x their fill rating. To me as long as the interior isn’t corroded/pitted, and the composite isn’t damaged it’s worth a shot, especially done carefully. I like the idea of having a tank, but don’t know for sure how much I’ll use it.

Thus the willingness to try the cheap option. I want to “test the waters” before going all in on a “great white” sized tank.

Trying to pace myself. (Without damaging myself.) hopefully that second part is a success.

*further research on Scott’s site they rate these tanks for 30 years in “some markets” so that minimizes my concern about any age related issues.

Other  Air pistol silhouette shooters-assistance in identifying these?

Yegua Target Company, long out of business. They made the best field targets at the time; not so much those silhouette strands. Often a solid hit from a pistol of any power causes the silhouette to pop back upright so fast even a spotter has a hard time telling hits from misses.

If those are Yegua's, I won MANY silhouette matches on those targets with this pistol that started Pistol Field Target competition.-

N/A  looking for a compressor (not a cheap one)

I used a Benjamin ReCharge to fill my large SCBA tanks. I've actually never filled any of my guns directly from a compressor, only from my tanks. I did something to the compressor that it didn't like and when I reached out to Benjamin for help they simply offered to replace it. It was almost 2yrs old at that point. Major plus for their customer service!! While working out the replacement, I came across a no brainer deal on a Bauer compressor and Hydraulics International Booster pump. More capacity to compress air than I'll ever need but wasn't gonna pass on the deal. Anyway, I got the new Benjamin compressor ( still packed as it was shipped ) and listed it here on the classifieds.
I'm interested in your compressor but I cannot PM you yet.
