You can always buy a new liner, they are cheap enough and the choke has become better for slugs in the heavys.

Looks out of stock to me !
I dont think they even tried to do that back then, far more pressing things on their hands i would assume.government running the economy
It chrono around 980-990 fps. I do have the Tesla moderator on my EVO.For a 1500HPR setting ..Are you doing around 985-995 fps?? or a lil higher?
nice shooting
Mike
I have the ds35-70 day night scope with the lazer range finder and ballistics. The pics and videos come out normal but it does have the round display. It awesome! Here is a couple 150yd shots out of my .25 panther hunter at night with a 500mm .22 barrel and 30gr slugs I made with my corbin equipment. They hit within a inch or so.Never tried a night / digital scope, but i am pretty sure i would prefer a round screen to look at.
Are you going to be able to put DW's chicken out to 610 yards ?
I am afraid he might not see it as a challenge otherwise , plus it gives the rest of us a fighting chance !
I didn't even think to take before and after pictures, but I did get a Marksman 0035 apart and resealed thanks to your help. My best friend's daughter is going to enjoy shooting it. Thank you.I didn't know they sell on Amazon. I don't buy from them often but I would look at their website and then communicate through ebay. I had better success communicating that way.
Don’t try persuade them not to make one for us springer fans. I’m sure there are plenty who would love to have one.Honestly, I really doubt there are more than a few dozen people out there that are going to mount a thermal optic on a springer. The airgunners with enough money and the inclination to get thermal sights are going to be almost exclusively using them on PCP's. If you can make a product that's strong enough to handle the double recoil of a magnum springer then that would be a good selling point, but I doubt it's actually necessary.
A Diana 54, Gamo Magnum or Hatsan 135 would all be good testbeds for your product. If it can withstand the recoil of any of those three then other spring guns should be no problem.
As far as PCP's are concerned their recoil is similar to that of firearms of similar energy and since airguns in general are less powerful the recoil is also generally less.
This^^^^ Looks like you live in Massachusetts, so John in PA is close to you and does outstanding work if you want someone to do it for you. Here's his contact info, give him a call and see what he says:If you have been lurking on this forum long enough it could be you. Depending on where you need to send it shipping a full rifle may be about the price of some stones and moly paste. If the rifle shoots well but seems rough it could be a fun project for the two of you. Tuning an HW30 is more about a nicer shot cycle unless the seals are shot. If it smokes a little you may just want to try tightening up the breech seal.
My mav and wildcat BT neither work that way well. Whatever reg pressure I run if I tune the gun right up to nearly the max velocity it will produce with that reg pressure they shoot awesome. Extreme spread of 10 or less. Once I start to tune down from that spot the ES goes up to 20 fps rather quickly. Guess I get a little picky about ES maybe.I can get my Maverick ( 700 mm ) up to the speeds i like with a mere 60 - 70 Bar, but for some reason it shoot better with a 80 - 90 Bar pressure.
And trust me i have tried jumping thru all kinds of hoops to try and make the rifle perform at the lower pressures, but i just can not make it perform as well.
I tend to start with a low pressure and low hammer, and then increase hammer, and if that do not work i give it a little bit more pressure back the hammer all the way back and start all over.
I tend to jump pressure in 10 Bar segments, but i might get lower than that now i have a digital gauge for my regulated pressure.
