2) the countries that are primarily shooting the .177 caliber are limited in FPE, so it's a double edged sword
Yeah. Demark are a .177 country ( if you have no licence but are 18 YO ) but at least FAC, but i am also sure that will change the next time some punk kids shoot at PPL in the street with a .177 / 4.5 mm rifle, like in 2012 that lost us the " be 18 and get any caliber PCP you like ) good old days.

I was sort of hoping FX would lead the way as with their way of making barrels, whipping up a few prototypes got to be faster and cheaper than more traditional ways of making a rifling.

I have also heard rumours of FX going to do that, but that's IWA 2024 old INFO and i have heard no news since then.

I also realize in 20 grain .177 / 4.5 mm you do not get those 400 shots in a tin like 13 grain, so yeah i would not be shooting the heavy stuff all the time, but it would be nice to have the option to do it, not least since the ammo are already there.

I am wondering what made just about all ammo brands make .177 / 4.5 mm 20 gr slugs, when so few rifles can shoot them well.

20 gr at speed, okay probably a little more speed than would be needed, well almost 50 food pounds of smacking power, that's a lot more than my 2012 .22 FX Cyclone.

GX pump E-5K2 review

Reviving this semi-old thread to say that the GX E-5K2 is even better than the Youtube videos let on. I just unpacked and set mine up today. It's remarkable how quickly it fills tanks, and the noise level is even lower than I expected. I'd say it's more quiet than the fans we have blowing around the house. It is truly a living-room capable pump, not that anyone would really do that.

Sorry if this sounds over the top, but over the top is how I'm feeling right now. I don't often buy things that exceed my expectations.

I'll follow up in a couple of years with a durability review. :)

I agree regarding quietness of operation. I have the GX E-5K1 single cylinder version. It seems quieter to operate than the little GX CS2 fan cooled units that I’ve had in the past.

The 5K1 tops off my 9L and 3L tanks very quickly. 30 minutes to go from 200bar to 310bar on the 9L. I don’t bother pushing to 4,600+ psi anymore, as topping to 4,500psi seems less stressful on equipment and its so quick to top off.

N/A  Slavia 620

What is the difference between the 620 and a 622? The front stock mounting bolts on the 618 and 622 are 4mm and the rear bolt is 5mm. I suspect the pivit bolt to be 5mm but have never needed one.
Go to ebay and look for Slavia airguns. There is a seller from Europe who deals in parts, contact him.
You have a nice rifle, thanks for sharing the photos.

The Achilles Heel of the Diana 34

so if you just want something that will kill the slipping use skateboard grip tape it comes in one huge sheet and it is cheap
take a piece and sand on top of the new material because it has grip and you will have enough for a life time
you know how I-phone covering can be slippery not with skateboard grip tape
https://www.tactics.com/jessup/skateboard-grip-tape-sheet/black
and it is sticky peel and stick

Used and/or refurbished?

I have bought 3 used rifles from gun forums. All arrived as advertised. I bought one refurbished from a major airgun store. The safe did not work, the loading port and trigger were full of weeds and seeds. They claimed to have test fired it and serviced it. I doubt it. But upon returning it they fully refunded my money and paid for the shipping, can't complain about that. So pay your money and take your chances.
