I grew up with an ax in hand doing manual work. Hand Pumping doesn't bother me as much as the cost of a compressor.

Darned good idea...See post above .. not that difficult changing design slightly![]()
I think there are a handful out there. There’s another interesting prototype, the crosman butterfly PCP handpump that was shown at SHOT in 2013-14. Not sure how many of those are out there.WOW would love to acquire a prototype probably not available .
Interesting read.you are back on track
if you don't have this it is good reading on the HW45

Hi everyone I just ordered a Taipan Vet 2 700mm .22 from Talon tunes and should be getting it this thursday. I’m very Very exited. There is one thing though. I am new to PCP rifles AND have only had gamo .177 rifles and mostly shot walmart crossman premieres which they shot really good IMO. i don’t know much about ballistics or anything like that(also have never used slugs). What do you guys recommend me getting? Ive read that JSB redesigned work fairly well but theres 3 options. Shallow regular and deep skirt. I will shoot the pellets anywhere from 30yds-150 and will be mainly dove hunting.. What do you guys recommend getting to test out? It would be even better if somebody with a Taipan vet 2 with same barrel length chimed in. Thanks in advance.
I may have to give this config a good look when my LC arrives next week. Thanks Weev. The LC has stood the test of time in my inventory. Favorite config is 177, 350mm shooting Zan 10.grain at 20fpe. With a fixed 10x Optisan scope, and its handy size, I can get on target from 10-80y very quickly and quietly (with an STO insert). I have all the barrel cals, but at >30fpe, it becomes a springer.
Yup. I just got my CZ200 regHuma packages their regulators like this. I just received a regulator for my BSA Scorpion T10 which was separated into different labeled bags. It is a "kit"
Yep...those are 2 extremes for restsMana:
Scopes; 36x-45x with some high powered Nightforce's tossed in just in case
Rests: 8 Randolph rest here today.
But here are the extreme of 2 rests.

This snap on/over rings were designed to be set up within specific temperature ranges so when a critical temp occurs you could take one off and slip on the appropriate temp calibrated ring... alas rules do not allow - which is a stupid rule.I don't know if it is on the rules or not, but why not use a temp gauge on the scope, coupled with two or three different ranging estimate cards for the noticable difference in shifts at specific temperatures? Seems like I have seen similar dual and triple yardages (based on temperature) written on the big ranging parallax wheels in the past.
My previous taipan did not have dual clicking. I am sureThe clicking sound is normal. As for the shims they should fit over the protruding end of the hammer spring adjuster where it contacts the spring . The shims aren’t required. They were probably added to give the rifle more velocity
Excellent choice!I think I’m gonna get a .25cal pushing 55 FPE to be safe.
