Sadly I haven't. I went out to the range to do some testing ......... and I forgot the ammo at home lol

Drove 45 minutes to the private range only to forget my ammo. I am on call this week, and my son has state trap this weekend. If I am able I will sneak away and try and get some shooting done. But I was able to get some of the 27 grain slugs to shoot really well at 30 and 50 yards. So I am hoping the ones that I made will work just as good. If I remember correctly they were the H&N slugs shooting at 910 fps. Was getting a ragged hole at both ranges.

Worry is over just got a email and package is shipped with tracking already

In my case the only slugs that give more precision are the custom swaged slugs I make for my Thomas HPX(when its tuned correctly) but the G1 BC is .142 so they blow in the wind more as distance increases and at some point the Altaros stay on steel better. The .245 G1 BC of the 25 cal Queens does amazingly well way out there. Also when it's windy they stay on steel better than my 22rf. 22rf has a .16 G1 BC and that's much of the reason.

Altaros has most definitely made a massively huge contribution to the airgun community and I'm very thankful!

Exactly... And for some reason at Oregon, I was getting 0.270 G1 with the .25 @Altaros 60 grain Queens... When we shot the 100Y BR Slug it was almost too easy, even with swirling winds 8 to 15 mph. I know it was that high since my first couple of shots at 250 and 300 yards on the Long-Range Challenge, the slug hit high in the white above the red (my dope called for 0.245 G1)... I was in contention, but my Skout Evo broke with 8 shots remaining. (the cocking handle pin that moves the cocking plate attached to the pellet probe came loose and dropped into the lower part of the gun.) Easy fix, but not while on the line...

I always dump as much praise as I can about this forum. Some of the senior members are absolutely hands down the most knowledgeable and helpful people when it comes to guidance. Got it unpacked and all set up. I had the same "issue" as Mike did, with the coolant not circulating initially. I opened it up and checked all the wiring, thinking something came loose during shipping. Nope, everything was looking good. Then I remembered the air bubble thing. So I tipped the unit front-to-back about 20 degrees, and then back-to-front the same amount. After that I saw coolant starting to circulate, so that was a huge relief! If you buy one, just expect this to happen and skip the disassembly part.

Overall, this product has exceeded my expectations and I'm really happy I got it. It's fast to fill and remarkably quiet, way less than you would expect. I can't speak to longevity yet, but I have never read a bad thing about it online. I would go so far as to say this is the Cadillac of compressors, at a very fair price.

Almost looks like your o-rings from breech end of barrel are missing. Have you checked? Something is amiss in the way pellet is (or isn't) aligning with barrel.

Is it quieter than. the 1350?

A long press on the right side button should make the Zulus available via your WiFi connection on whatever device your are currently using. Then you access the “device files” on the Zulus through the Arken app and save them to your device… Phone, computer, etc. And then? Post them up…

Haven't really researched the Mora much, but I noticed yesterday that they are part of AoA's July 4th sale, currently ongoing.

Can't personally say whether that is a good price for the gun or not though.

the magazine looks really beautifully made...something very aesthetic abut it.

The barrel is like a mirror. I've always been pedantic about oil & storing carefully. I shoved a furry barrel cleaner soaked in Browning Legia spray before it went into hibernation, so that bit has survived intact. I'll order those O rings and spend a sunday afternoon with Ernest Rowe's video and we'll see if I can sort it. Probably end up turning it back down on the hammer spring!
My Wife said "What the **** are you doing, messing with it, now you've got it how you want it?". Inescapable logic, but I know I'll carry on until I either get to the cause of whatever problem, or ruin the gun and put it back in the cupboard!

Yeah, unfortunately slugs are going to be a gamble regardless what platform you choose. Some are better than others though, but no sure thing. One cool thing about the AvengeX is you can get barrel kits really cheap from PA. If I were you I would consider selling your current Avenger (assuming its not an X version) and buy a new AvengeX in 25Cal and you can always buy a 22Cal conversion kit if you decide you like it better.

I have an Avenger and an AvengeX, both in .22. My Avenger is a dedicated BR rifle while my X is my groundhog and plinking gun. I’m considering getting a .25 barrel for my X as I’ve found my .22 very touchy to tune and not as accurate as my Averager. (Maybe it’s just the barrel lottery.) I shoot JSB 18.13’s out of both. I’m open to suggestions for hammer spring & reg for my .22X. I’ve watched Steve’s video (many times) on the X and even he mentioned that he found the .25 easier to tune.
