Huben  2024 k1 .22 and slugs

So I can push them in snug with my finger, the pad of skin can barely depress it past flush, and they stay snug.
sometimes if i am trying to sight it in or something, I have a 2mm seating tool I make, and I will press them in with that, they are a little more snug...
@wimpanzee That sounds about like what I'm experiencing, but I don't feel them catch when I push. Thanks for the info. It helps.

Brocock/BRK  BRK Ghost Sling Options

I've been wondering the same thing. Perhaps a soft case with a shoulder strap? There's actually an old thread on this topic in the forums here:

notos problems

I'm kinda the Notos conversion guy with over 200 conversions. I have some OEM parts, many o-rings and mod parts in stock. You can find a BUNCH of info on the Notos here, many have created parts and designed "things" that we cannot speak of but help to reduce sound pressure measured in dB along with mounts, furniture, full pistol conversions, even 700mm FX barrel conversions shooting 14.39gr pellets at 1050fps!

hi firewalker, i did send the gun back for a replacement and would like to take you up on a replacement pack of seals for the notos is you have them available.
i cant pm you on account i dont have the post count and time needed on the forum to do so.
also im wondering what your backlog on conversion work is like because i think id like to trick this rifle out at some point.
ill try and do some posts on here so i can get pms.

Gamo  Gamo Urban Barrel Band

I have two gamo urbans, one the barrel band is holding the barrel downward under great pressure. This one seems to be better with the band, it brings the barrel more in line with the block / scope mounting so that I didnt have to crank a bunch of turns on the scope or try to shim the scope a ton. Sort of working like a tensioned barrel. I think the bands arent very good on the urban, unless they are under a lot of tension - they can hold the barrel off kilter if it does get bumped pretty strongly, seen this before when the non tensioned one gets tipped over. I do have to be careful not to bump that barrel, so I think it might be better without the band.

N/A  .177 in 700mm slugger is it diminishing returns??

Not my experience at all testing the new 711 mm / 28" slug barrel in BRK Ghost .177 HP and Daystate Delta Wolf .177 HP (y) 🎯 :)

Soon I will be testing in a Daystate Red Wolf .177 HP setup as well (y):geek:
I’ve heard nothing but good things about the RedWolf in .177good luck mate

Hawke Sidewinder 30SF kinda disappointing

The optic industry has been forced to remove some toxic transition metals from the glass recipe. The upshot is that the older Japanese built scopes frequently have surprisingly good glass. I've got high end optics and some older Tasco and Bushnell scopes that are remarkably competitive.

As others have said, 20X and more is going to want a larger objective. And the Hubbles, they do weigh...

I have an older Tasco TS target scope, 6-24X and it is as clear as any scope I have ever owned. I haven't looked through it for a while, but it may have some CA or pincushion, but it's a great scope and has held up over....I dunno.....30 years!

FX  FX DRS with low velocity first shot! What should I check?

Brand new or did the reg get broke in yet mine seems to be fine
Mine was brand new, I think I posted in this topic somewhere but it was creeping around 8 bar. I could hear that the hammer was too weak for the first shot. Took the regulator out and it was so dirty.

Stoeger  AirGun Angie unboxes Stoeger XM1 Ranger in .25

Here's an unboxing Video that AirGun Angie just did on the .25 Caliber Stoeger XM1 Ranger (5 year warranty!)

A full review will be posted in a day or so.

The target is in my backyard at 50 yards with 5.52 H&N Baracuda Match. 10 shots, full magazine and look at that chronograph output with ZERO standard deviation on my .22 Ranger using the same, H&N Baracuda Match 5.52 pellet, unsorted. I couldn't believe my own eyes! Regulator was/is 150 bar. VERY small adjustments to hammer spring from factory setting, to get best tune.

Also shoots 22 grain Hybrid and .30.5 grain FX dish based slugs very well.

Interesting though, in testing I tried 25.39g JSB pellets and then 25.39g JSB REDESIGNED pellets, although same weight, the REDESIGNED got me 20 more fps and increased fpe as well. Same weight! Why was that? I'll ask JSB

@klentz thanks for the offer. This is my target stand. It's a data center equipment rack that I cut down to 18 inches and put 2x4s up as posts to eliminate ricochet.

x2 1/2" pieces of plywood behind the cardboard.

Evanix  No Love for Evanix on AGN?

I honestly love the designs evanix comes up with. The Rex p and viper are some of the most aesthetically pleasing guns I’ve seen in the airgun world. If the viper had the power of the gk1 I would have definitely opted for the viper. I wish huben made big bores. If they made a gk1 in 30 cal I would be all over it. Also if the Rex p got more shots per fill I would have bought it.

.25 pellet resizing

Thanks so far for all the instructions and information. I had no idea what slugging it meant. Now I have several things to check to see if I can understand what the mechanics of the resizer are. It is sold as a .25 6.35 sizer so I need to get a micrometer to start checking some of the pellets. then put some partway in the barrel and see if they show rifling marks. I always seem to believe that the skirt was going to be a little tight in the barrel to make a good seal, now it seems the skirt is flexible enough that the air pressure forces it to seal. I hope I understand all so far. I will try to put into practice tomorrow. I have some more pellets coming that I can get better measurments on before and after resizing.
