Epic  Love the epic 2 mostly

My REG was also set to 90 bar, and it is also a little lower than that i shoot ( 13 gr ) , BUT ! i am pea shooting the .177 caliber.
My bad start with the Two was a poor LW barrel with a huge choke in the middle, like 1/4 to 1/3 of the barrel length.

Now on CZ barrel that feel slick l8ike snot on a door knob the whole way thru the barrel, and things are looking good.

Dunno why you have wind issues, i assume CUZ you shoot in higher wind than i attempt with this little caliber, maybe also trying to shoot further.

Not dialed in at all but shot this on my last outing ( first with CZ barrel ) and on a day with for the caliber not favorable winds.
86 M / 92 yards, and as i recall 13 grain Zan slugs.

Not really " aiming " here, just put some holes in paper to take picture for seller of unusable 3" targets that do not have splatter effect in them at all.

I will have a opinion on the Two in like 2-3 months, which i feel is a relevant time frame to get under the skin of a rifle.
But like my Maverick, i have a strong feeling i can shoot a 1/2 " group at this distance,,,,, that is, when dialed in, and if i learn not to pull that last #5 shot which i often do.

Tuning  78G reseal

Put a cylinder in it today just to see, I was told it leaks down after a few days. Well as soon as I pierced it it was leaking pretty good by the cap, assume the seal. Still managed to shoot it over the chrono, was averaging about 360fps w/14.3's. Definitely going out to Phil for reseal. Shot it about 30 times until fps dropped to about 300. What a blast, can't wait to get it fully functional again.

JTS  Love my airicuda standards🔥🔥🔥

I have the hammer spring turned is as far as I can gets about 800 fps with 29 grain pellets. I have to do some more tuning because I just purchased a chronograph and still learning it. But I have took a full grown groundhog with it with 1 shot at 30 yards to the dome dropped dead.

And I also just got a heavy hammer spring off eBay but it feels so hard to cock the gun with it almost feels like something will break. Gotta play with it a little.
If I understand correctly (and I may not) when you turn it in all the way and then back off around a quarter to half turn it should perform a little better?
I am sure someone with more knowledge will chime in and correct me helping you and I both.
Next thing you will be doing is taking a dremel to the transfer port hole :p...I have not done anything to mine but am considering exploring the possibilities a bit more.
I really want to get another .25 like a AEA challenger pro that pumps out around 80 fpe stock.
I also have an Avenger in .25 with buck rail full tac mods and the Avenger does about the same in fpe as the Airacuda...but I saw a post from a guy on here who modded his up to 115fpe!

RAW Rapid  Anyone Shooting .25 FX Hybrids In A RAW HM1000x?

I guess I’m in a little different boat with my build. I have a custom barrel built with a permanly bonded FX liner. Shoot 20.2 gr nsa at 930 fps.

If I read the wind righf, 120-130y plinking is a ton of fun
On my tune, I also shoot the NSA 20.2gr @ 930fps-ish but with the stock LW non choked poly very accurately 👍. Those FX liners can be special for slugs!

Diana  Which Altaros regulator for Diana Stormrider?

Hello everyone!

I just bought my first PCP, a Diana Storm Rider in .22.

I would like to add an Altaros regulator but am at a loss as to which foot pound level I should order.

I am looking to get a good consistency of shots, in the 800 ft per second range with an average pellet weight. I will mainly be plinking in the backyard.

On their website, Altaros has options from 5.5 foot pounds all the way up to 44 plus. I live in the US and do not have any regulations on power levels.

Any suggestions on what I should order based on my user requirement?

Thanks so much in advance, I am really enjoying this new sport and this wonderful forum.

How accurate is your chronograph?

Shot to shot variance does not effect accuracy independent of velocity. As average velocity decreases the same variance with cause larger groups size.
Sorry - maybe I didnt put it well.

There's 2 things with Chronograph accuracy:
- How close the result is to the actual speed of the pellet
- How consistent the results are at a given speed (cant think of a better word when talking uncertainty)

Example:
- Pellet speeds: 1000, 998, 999, 1002, 1001
- Chrono reading: 1010, 1008, 1009, 1012, 1011

So its reading 10fps high off actual pellet speed, but every reading is exactly 10fps off - the consistency is there.
A chronograph like this will be ok for testing, as shot to shot its "accurate".

How to post airgun

would my history and participation in the forum be considered as trustworthy to buy or sell within the classifieds? i haven’t been on here very long but i’ve made a bit more than quite a few posts. i’ve even bought a huben k1 from another member without any issues, (though i didn’t get a feedback score on it lol)

Probably. Scammers are way too lazy to make 345 posts. That's why they have to rely on scamming to make money. They also tend to be stupid and have small, misshapen genitals.

GK1 on the job! #2

With the moderator, are they backyard friendly?
With a moderator if you have it set to about 25fpe pounds it is quiet. But I would not say it's as quiet as a Benjamin marauder or benjamin akela. At about 38-44 foot-pounds.It's about as loud as a nail gun, and that's with a 22gr pellet goin 960fps

Test me

Ooops, sorry I forgot to delete this thread. I am surprised how many people replied to this! 😄

We're still troubleshooting an issue with 2FA that just happened to rear its head simultaneously with the launching of our new App. Particularly when someone uses multiple devices. It has caused some problems with logging in, accessing DM's, creating threads, and replying to existing threads. I've got my developer involved and they believe they've isolated the issue and hope to have a fix pushed out tomorrow Wednesday.

Thanks for your patience

beautiful indoor range..

I once did a job where a fellow wanted an indoor small bore range, he bought an old single wide trailer house and gutted it front to back, then set about proofing sides with metal and foam.. it was nice for 17 hmr and .22 lr. After that it got loud.
I have dreamed of getting a cinder block range build 15x75'

Fx maverick tune

Too fast on the speed, that's why it's all over the place, JSB's like something in the 900 range, AEA's you can push somewhat higher, I think you're getting too much air behind them. If the slugs are working, then IMHO, forget about pellets but you can try the AEA's and see if they work better for you without changing anything or turn down your HSA on the pellets but it'll never be perfect.
I know, power wheel setting 6, pellets hit hole in hole. Just didn't chrono on pw setting 6.
