Other  Buckley MPA build

Rounding up the basic components for a build based off HM Buckley designed MPA .
Planning the valve and buddy bottle arrangement at present and have a question as I'm new to PCP air guns
and this design maybe a little dated at this point .

The original plan has no regulator just a shrader valve in the bottle and a exhaust valve in the action block , should I be designing in
a regulator or not ? Advantages I see is more consistent shots , ability to leave bottle on gun and charge through the regulator port
and also easier to tune . Is there anything else I should be considering ?

Thanks Kent

Pathfinder XR, Pesting Machine…

Awesome pesting on those feathers Luis with B Pathfinder! Very nice pics 👍 Beautiful permission.
Randall thank you for your long time guidance and support. Am hoping my wife sanctions a ratting night this coming week… My ambitions in that direction were quashed this weekend. So I took the time I could.

Diablo Rod and Gun August 18th Match Results -> Concord, Ca.

Someone took out all the large/medium KZ and set them up past 48 yards.

Then someone took all the teeny tiny KZ and set them past 18 yards.

In anticipation that some guy named Chris would show up. Alas he ditched us and there was a rumor he went to play with fishes?

Oh there was also switching gusty wind And distracting cuss words up and down the line. I learn quite a few new ones that day.

Those were all the excuses I could think of.

Diana  Diane’s Chaser do hickory!

Do hickory?
Do hickey?
Not just a suck mark on your neck that made your momma mad at your girlfriend.
A hickey is like a threaded clevis that attaches a light fixture to an electrical box that has a threaded nipple. Old school electricians know.

That hickey looks cool on your gun. Slick

I had a similar situation and made a post on another forum about loosening the screws on a weihrauch. I tighten the screws on my Hw50 for good measure after finding them loose on my 30. The groups fell apart on the 50. I loosen the one screw that would tighten to where it was and it went back to shooting well.

Too many hobbies

imtrigerhapy,

I wrote up a 6 part guest blog for Pyramyd Air on how I make gun stocks. The series covers everything from design considerations to finishing the stock.

Stock making is not difficult and can be done with tools found in a typical home work shop.

Here's a link to Part 6 which has links to the other parts.

Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Cheers!
Thank you i appreciate the link

Which mould for casting slugs for the Huben GK1 .25(3)?

I was just curious. My thinking here, if any possible rough spots are polished they may not accumulate lead as fast as a non polished bore. If it is slick already don't do it. The bores on our muzzleloaders were slick from all the patches down the bore in a round ball gun. Those were some slick bores. You got no lead fouling from a patched RB. Then you cleaned the powder fouling with more patches. That polished the bore. See why I gravitated toward pellet guns? Be Well Brothers, B.

First . 22 cal ( rats )

Just want to say thank you again. I LOVE the Notos. I've already got 4 rats, and my corn has been safe lol. I even bought the red light you recommended and they don't even notice it. Got the bait station and wyze cam as well!
You are so welcome and I am so glad you like it and have sniped some rats already with it! Whew....I would be quite bummed if you didn't like it or other! Enjoy sniping more rats with it, it is FUN! FYI....I use a inexpensive wireless doorcam to alert me of rat activity 👍, cheating but fun...😂

Who is Outside Shooting in Extreme Summer Heat?

It's been Hot here in north eastern Texas, been averaging 97°, and with my heart condition I mostly stay in the house with the A/C on, tinkering in my shop, but I did get out last week when it was down to 92° and popped a couple squirrels with the Avenger .25, gotta hose down with Cutters and wear the Ghillie suit to keep the bugs from eating you and the squirrels from seeing you, almost got hit by a couple birds that were fighting, I had to duck......:ROFLMAO: maybe the Ghillie works too good....

@Dr. Kralenstein To my knowledge bot fly larvae are exactly what warbles are. Just another name. Around here old timers call 'em "wolves."
I just know you don't want to get any of those in you. I think the species we have in NA aren't after humans, but there are bot Flys down in south America that sure will.
