AEAC?

Hope he gets better soon. Been a bummer that there has been hardly any content from him. He is one of the greats. I hope Nate and Rick utsler keep up the hard work of producing regular content. Seems everything else I used to watch or listen too have went to very infrequent content. Maybe fx USA folding caused it ?? Hmm is it just me or has it kind of been crickets from the fx YouTube guys since ??

BRK Ghost Barrel Clamp Kit Video

One great feature of the stock Delta/Alpha Wolfs and Ghosts is the ability to easily and quickly swap barrels. The clamps are a trade off, the easy barrel swaps for a more rigid barrel mounting system. Depending on your use conditions and how you handle the airgun, you might prefer one or the other.

Yep, the clamp requires pulling the scope rail off to swap barrels. That greatly complicates a barrel swap.

FX  ST Impact Bag Rider Magpul Compatibility

Does anyone have the Saber Tactical Impact Bag Rider installed with the Magpul MIAD grip? I wanted to see if this would work as is or if there would be an adapter required, etc… I pinged ST and they didn’t have a definitive “yes” just that one of the Magpul grips might work.

Crosman  Crosman 3622 barrel band shim question

I bought one of these directly from Crosman a couple weeks ago and have almost finished the minor mods on it: steel breech, Airgun Mods moderator, BSA 2-7x32 compact scope.

I've read and heard on videos about shimming the front barrel band to create a slightly wider gap between the tube and barrel to make attaching air hose's female foster fitting easier. My question is just what are people using for the shims?

Thanks. Scott

Airforce  Condor .257 Little Nasty ready to rock...

Sweet! Long range is incredible. I have one of Doug's builds in a .257. Ill never sell it! If you happen to find a Doug build, Keep it. Mine looks kind of similar. Nicks 65 grain boat tail was the ticket but he doesn't make them anymore since he moved. Griffin 64 gr. is pretty darn close and it works. Met Doug for some repairs. Very good guy

N/A  DAQ breech 2240 build ??

I was lookin at the breeches but the ***** selling them didn't answer my questions. Do they have a serial # ?
@houston There is an entry on the Quackenbush site that discusses counterfeit DAQ guns. This may be relevant in your situation.

FX  Impact M3 lowest scope mount options?

Good to hear your thoughts again, Matthias. I've have not been on any blogs for about 1 1/2 yrs. I have been busy on another theory patent and developing better component designs for my first sights. You were one of the few that challenged me on theory in a good way. Look forward to more discussions in the future. The reason I'm chiming in is when I entered your data of 4 degrees at 25 yards, I get a variation of .01". Since I don't shoot over 50 yards, I have never entered degree data into any of my calculations. Is my calculation correct? Just for your information, based on our past conversations using your sight calculations for my sight, I would have zero hold of + .4"/-0.0" from 0 yards to 25 yards. This data would not apply to any other sight, but I thought you would be interested. I don't expect anyone else would understand this. It is amazing that there has been no interest from any manufactures about these capabilities. My sight is still not on the market, but I am still trying. Hope all is well in your life.
Brad

Hey Brad,

glad you're back!! 😃

Yeah, work or life circumstances can make us take a break from the forum....
I'm starting a new venture and I might have to cut down, too. (And this thread is not reflecting that....! 😆)

● The difference that a 4⁰ down (or up) angle makes — especially at 25y — is so minute, it can be ignored.
● Now shooting out to 200y that angle might make more of a difference.
● Or shooting squirrles 75⁰ up in the trees at closer ranges — that makes a more significant difference in the point of aim. 😊

➠ Keep up your work with your sights! 💪🏼
➠ And keep us on the forums in the loop — if we can help we will — eventually we all will benefit from R&D, innovation, mavericks, and those precious few who dare to think outside the box. More power to you, Brad!

Cheers, 😊
Matthias
