Other  Coup De Grace

After a bit more trigger-time I'll post something. Probably sort of a mini review. 🙄

As requested, promised, and copied from a post in another thread about the Gem-

My Gem prefers Umarex silver BBs over Crosmans; no surprise since the Umarex fit a bit snugger in the breech and don't vary in that regard like the Crosmans. My benchrest accuracy testing at the extreme range of FIVE yards  produced 4-5" c-t-c average five-shot groups. Had to adjust the rear sight almost all the way right in its adjustment to sight her in. Now shoots to point of aim at 2-4 steps, low beyond that.

Did a shot-count over the Chrony of a full 8 gram charge at 90 degrees today with the 5.35 grain Umarex BBs. Seventy shots, Low= 283 FPS, High= 313, ES= 30, SD= 5, Average=304 FPS/1.1 FPE. Could have gotten another 5-10 shots at declining velocity, but why?

Marauder second air gage

Greetings. How can I add a pressure gage on my regulated Marauder that shows the regulated pressure?
In this, your original post, you asked for a gauge that shows regulated pressure. All of the answers so far (except maybe Worried Man's) speak to reading the unregulated pressure.

Is that really what you want - the regulated pressure? If so, you need to have a pressure gauge on the plenum, which is easy to to do if you do not have one now, but would take a different plenum (or possibly a completely different regulator, depending on the brand and what they offer).

Let us know . . .

Tuning  Air Venturi V10 sight keeps losing height adjustment.

the spring in the sight is larger and has way more power than a pen spring
i took mine loose the other day but could not unhook the front of the sight
the spring set far to the front but i wonder if the bearing ball has been lost
it is maybe 1mm and with that gone the screw will not index on the ball and could just spin
grease the ball to hold it place
bearing balls can be found on Ebay cheap

Seneca eagle claw

don't know if I placed this post in the correct place as I normally don't start them..if it is in the wrong place moderator please move it to wherever it should be!
so I got a Seneca eagle claw 22 long version caliber referbished and I bought the moderator adapter in case I needed to put my Donny FL shogun on it.. it's almost plenty quiet as is but I noticed that it was missing the baffles when I installed the adapter..
so I called pyramid air and they didn't know how many it takes so got back to me later and said 3.. they fit snuggly but I actually saw the end of the barrel and the spacer for it, so I know that it didn't have one in it.. there's also numbers on the baffle package that seems to indicate that it takes 3.. however it will only take two.. third one would stick out and you couldn't put the muzzle cap on..
so my question is.. should I just put in the two? or should I put each baffle in the lathe and shorten it so all 3 fit? will 3 shorter ones work better than two factory ones?. I'm inclined to leave them factory, just because things are normally best left factory, but I thought I'd ask if anyone has any ideas..
and this post is meant just for the Seneca eagle claw, not trying to do anything else
I will have to say that out of every airgun I have shot it's my absolute favorite.. however it's the first pellet picky gun I have had..it will shoot anything as long as you set the power wheel correctly for the weight of the ammo.. unlike my Condor SS will eat anything at any setting even supersonic and still print dime size groups at 50 and 30 yards dead on.

FWB  ages

Pretty gun. It looks much like a miniaturized version of a Martini-Henry which was a British service rifle starting about 1871, There are still a fairly large number of those floating around. This looks like a sporterized model, picture I found on the internet.

Beautiful rifle….Ive had both the Martini-Henry and the cadets….the old 455 paper patch ammo was getting scarce, and the movie “Zulu” had faded a little bit in my mind. However, the cadets always fascinated me…all in cool calibers..so nice and light and slim. All have found new loving homes…only the Borchardts are left…Thanks for sharing and the memories. John

Macavity Arms  My new Macavity Arms MA2

So I took the rifle apart, honestly, nicer and easier than expected.

Set the reg to 1600, took it out and wallah! Got a worse chrono reading.

I said , this thing doesn't have enough ass on the hammer spring, so I pulled my jts out and pulled the stock hammer spring out of the bag of parts (still waiting on a barrel and I have a heavier spring for it anyways) , here's the difference in weight on the springs, the jts is quite a bit heavier. Same length too which is nice...

Watch out for hidden tariffs! (Huma-Air)

It's not HUMA air, it is the current administration putting extra taxes on US citizens. There is a good post from Pyramyd air explaining how the tariffs are a tax on the consumer.
I look at it as behavioral training, both consumer and manufacturer. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we get some cool usa built guns out of it.
