FX  Sekhmet feedback - positive

Appreciate this community and all it’s done for me. Wanted to share a recent Sekhmet expierience as well as long-term, as I’ve read some not positive experiences here.

Recently I purchased three Sekhmet Gauges. A 25mm Gen2 standard and two 28mm Gen2 DPG Pro. Following my order Nicole from Sekhmet reached out saying there is a firmware issue with the 28mm, we’re sending you a USB firmware updating cable FREE of charge. She also included instructions and a tracking number and refunded my order 10%.

Indeed the 28mm gauge had the issue. updated the firmware and haven’t had an issue with it since. The 25mm standard gauge worked fine from the start.

Prior to this I had purchased two 28mm brass gen1 gauges, I’ve never had a problem with them and they’ve been on my FX Impact MKII since February 2021. So over three years. Also I’ve probably charged those two gauges maybe 10 times in those three years and I shoot quite a bit. I have one gauge left over and don’t really have a gun to put it on, so I guess I’ll be getting some new Airgun soon enough!

The new gauges on my MKII that I’ll be using to compete this year at the PA Cup. I have a new 28mm on the bottle in Pro mode and a 28mm on the regulator in Regulator mode. They’ve been great really. I haven’t had any problems with them and really like the black that matches the rest of the gun.

The community is great, the orange bipod on my Dreamline was purchased from a community member, the Athlon Cronus on the Impact also from a community member.

All the best!

4th of July SMACKS!!

It was a fun day. The targets kept coming! I had planned on a quick trip, but the recent rains and cooler temps got the animals moving. I did not make it to every last corner of the farm due to the sheer number of volunteers I encountered.

I am still working the Tactcam FTS getting the right digital zoom and resolution combination. The Tungsten light balance setting seem to work well with the backgrounds.

Shoot'em good, amigos :)

WHICH COMPRESSOR?

Just received my CS4 yesterday. I will take my time and read the manual. Now that I know I have the 88 Cu.Ft. tank I am wondering how many fills I can get from it if my maximum fill pressure is 3600 PSI and I have my bottle topped off at 4500PSI ?
I'm sure there is a formula that you shooters use to determine this.
Thanks!

N/A  Diana Chaser/Artemis CP2, Krale, and aluminum magazines?

To update everyone… I did end up getting my Chaser in .22 and splurged on a couple Maple magazines (orange 7rd and black 10rd).

It's a pretty good setup. If I did it all over again though, I might consider springing for .177 caliber and the Maple single shot loader + either the 7 or 10 shot magazine.

.177 because (1) my other guns and pellets are in that caliber, (2) .177 is cheaper for plinking pellets by the tin and I don’t feel as bad about 1/2 the wasted lead, (3) I sometimes feel .22 velocity is a bit lacking partway into a fresh cartridge.

Might try the single shot loader because it makes for a better shot to shot flow. The mags are great but I find detaching and reloading a full mag every several shots is slow in its own way vs feeding pellets singly but quickly, indefinitely. One of each mode is nice.

Hope that helps someone.

I have a full cerakote section just where the sand blast cabinet is , I dont get many who want it I have done my stuff and friends stuff
was supposed to do peoples guns here in my town but changed my mind I rather have my privacy
the shop bugs me because its not what I originally wanted, the 6x6 beams needed were not available and would of delayed construction a whole year

This was the Evol…. The lower 48 acre group are one magazine plus one shot from another magazine, and then I tried just using “kentucky windage” to see if I could even hit the sticker. Those are holes you see scattered around the sticker. At that point I decided I was wasting pellets and stopped. I pulled a cleaning rag through the barrel and wasted a few more pellets to season the barrel again and tried again. This time I got a semi-ok 4 shots and then it fell apart again and looks just like the original group. It WAS gusting some wind but the major issue I’m fairly sure is simply the considerably slower pellet speed. That’s the worst group I’ve ever seen from the Evol. It stacks JSB’s like the above Uragan’s groups (or better) at the same distance.

So, I’m just going to continue stocking up on JSBs for my Evol which it LOVES.

N/A  Why a pistol?

Where did you pick up a new Ranchero? They are not made anymore.
I called Utah Airguns about converting a used Ranchero arrow pistol I was considering into pellet shooter. While talking to the tech he recalled possibly seeing one somewhere in their storage. Sure enough, after a short wait, he got back on the phone with a new .177 in hand. I paid right away and I love that pistol. With a 2-6.5 Bushnell, shooting JSB exact heavies, I've shot 10 for 10 on paintballs at 35 yards.

FX  Newbie Help with FX Hunter

So I just received a hunter compact that I plan to mount my arken zulus on and am wondering if anyone has a starting point.
I'm completely new to airguns and dint have a chrono yes but would like to get out and zero for 50 yards.
Is there ballistic numbers for .22 15.9gr pellets so I can use range finder?
Any zulus setting I should start at?

I need lots of help with fx as its my first.
Do I just start at stock settings with 15.9gr pellets?
How high do I fill tank?
Anything I'm missing please fill free as I'm trying to rush this and take advantage of a free morning off of work cause of 4th.
Happy independence day my friends and thank you for any help
First off read the manual (download it if you don't have one) It will tell you all you need to know . very complex gun .
