FX  Anyone Tackle the M4 Quick Set Trigger?

Anyone adjust their M4 Quick Set Trigger (QST)?
The quick set trigger is certainly a misnomer. Having to move tiny screws and then fiddling with them to get the proper tension, every time you make a change, is not quick at all.

I wonder how the M3 trigger was adjusted?

I have a trigger pull meter and trying to adjust this trigger is a nightmare... in any of the positions. I can't get it to change the pull much at all. I'd so much rather have a single stage adjustable trigger... nice and simple.

Pyramid Refurbished Air Tank.

I've accumulated a few CF tanks in the past year, both new and used. No issues with the actual tanks whatsoever. I have no qualms buying used tanks or the cheap eBay offerings. I fill mine with an Omega Supercharger compressor so I don't care about DOT certs. The valves are the item I would describe as 'you get what you pay for'. The JB TJ3 is my favorite so far.

New:

-3L Acecare from Amazon. I put a Scandinavian Arms valve on it. No issues.
-2L Tuxing from eBay. Cheap Palm Beach Air valve. Bottle gauge quit working but valve operates fine.
-6.8L Omega from AoA. Standard Omega valve. DIN adapter O-ring blew out. Easily replaced with dive shop O-ring kit.

Used:

-9L Air Venturi from AGN classifieds. Came with original valve from 2014. Valve was stiff and the fill gauge was over 50bar off. I put a Joe Brancato TJ3 valve on it. No issues.

Hope this helps

FX  Fx reliability and warranty in 2024

*****Ad hominem attack removed.****

I bouth Fx maverick VP 22 6 weeks ago aprox. It came to me in sniper model hardcase and I was suspiccious...When I first time tried to cock my new rifle cocking was terrible,it was out of timing and like there was some rusted travel insid the gun...,I reached for you tubes how to videos and folowing that I noticed that I didnt get o rings inside the barrel, there were no o rings in transfer port, hammer v 7 was damaged, like production damaged and I have sand and polish it to make it works...gun has several marks that indication that it is not one time assabled dissasmbled.I send email to my suplier and he says that it is not possible, that they just got this rifle from Fx and they send it to me like this in sniper model hard case cause Fx send like that sometimes...,and that everything should be fine...I have limited options abouth my case cause I live in Croatia and first Fx store is 2000 km away.
I ordered some o rings from huma, put them in and poi of shift was terrible...I wasted 25 boxes of ammo to try to tune and make this gun works fine...then I put the liner in arrow spinner and I noticed a big wooble at one side so I send email to my suplier and to Fx.Suplier says that he has sended email to Fx to send me missing and damaged parts, after 10 day of no getting parts he said that they are on holidays, then Fx says that I need to contact my suplier...broken record case....In the meantime all screw are rusted and pins from cocking lever having tendency to fall out...
I had Streamline before and that gun worked flawlessly, with zero issues in few years and several dozen of thousands of pellets...
It is obvious that Fx is breaking bad bad bad...I dont care for Dubber,Gerhard and other videos abouth greatness of Fx cause is obvious that they are hard sposored and they can get around 50 liners to pick the best and the straghtess barrel and they show to us some non failed videos of Fx accuracy,as average Joe you could get really hard time with Fx thee days...
Fx done their marketing and they dont care abouth small people anymore, they have terrible quality control and terrible warraty and I think this is my list time dealing with Fx!I will order missing parts somwhere and try to make my maverick work, but also I think I am gonna sell it and buy Uragan or something much more reliable as I see on forums that I am not the only one that strugles with Fx from accuraccy to reliability.
A Ghost

Rattus interuptus…😈🙈🤓…

There's a moment on all men life on which there's a collision among beautiful young ladies we see vs. our age and what we need to take care of to keep our marriage and family well oriented.

One good way to handle it is shooting rats... Doubtless !
Very wise words. I feel like I’m 18 in my head but in reality the grey hairs don’t lie. Gotta be careful. Just keep shooting rats and everything will be alright.

N/A  Cometa break barrels

I contacted @Sqwirl57 about them since he is Keystone airguns. Asked how solid the synthetic stocks are and if they're pretty solid ill definitely be buying one. If not I'll snag a wood version. People seem to be pretty happy with them, no real need for a tune as they aren't twangy and accuracy I haven't heard a bad thing about them. I think it'd be a great truck gun on the dairy.

FX 400 just died. What happened?

Well, it takes like 10 minutes to get the gun apart and the valve out. The seat is a bit more work, but completely doable. Check to see if the valve is damaged or the seat is leaking. If you see nothing wrong, the oring on the seat is likely the culprit. I had two 400's and both of them eventually leaked at the valve seat oring, but once replaced, that was the end of the issue.
You need a small "L" shaped pic, with a smooth end to reach down inside and pull the seat out. Work your way around it to pull evenly, and it'll come right out. To replace it, find a wood or plastic dowel to push it back in place. It's not hard.
@bchannell 's choice of tools for the job is perfectly adequate.
However, if you have spare cash and are also a tool freak there is a specialty tool that aids in removing the seat as well as another that helps install the valve.
Cape Fear and Utah probably have them
This is not a recommendation.
Just a point of information
Edward

PS
If you check out Ernest Rowes videos on YouTube you can see the process in action

Diana  Firsr springer hunt

We talking about a barn sized tank? I think you got a chance or two lol

I couldn't hit that tank at 650 if I was inside it!

I took a shot against that white background and could see the pellet falling against it. I missed low by about 400 yards.

Multiple compressor manifold

It was @Roachcreek that had the multi-compressed setup. It seems he hasn’t been around since last fall. I know he had health problems & was gradually going blind.

Dang - no roachcreek here for a while. Learned a lot from him, great guy - he had some pretty positive plans in spite of his eyesight failing - I don't know if any of that panned out, but I'm hoping he's enjoying himself somewhere!
