FX  FX

I have several decisions to make. I would like to purchase a new FX Wildcat compact m3, my question is should I get the BT or tube gun, and also am trying to decide whether to swap barrels on my Impact from .22 to a .25 and get the wildcat in .22 0r get the wildcat in .25. Either way I would like to end up with both a .22 and .25. I am leaning to the wildcat tube gun in .22. Any thoughts ?
I love the tube guns... Wildcat & Dreamline. Shot count is not a big deal for me, especially if you're leaning toward a hunting gun. How many shots do you need on your average hunt? Refilling at the range is a non issue. I'd rather have the less bulky gun.

Vevor

Looking for parts if anyone has one of these yaying around collecting dust in the scrap pile. So far compressor has worked good but lately the vent valve is leaking its needing excessive force to build pressure. I've had to put a pliers on to tighten enough to fill gun I'm just looking for the complete valve assembly ttlhank you

GX CS4 grease pot and burst disc ports

Water is flowing normally and always has into the top of the reservoir. I topped off with DI water, ran it for a few seconds, dumped the water and repeated a few times until the water ran clear. So, I don't think water flow is the issue and the pump is probably bad.

Never turned the grease pot, but I did pull the pot off the unit when new. It was half full with grease. Not depth wise, but like it had been shipped on its side for most of the trip so the cylinder was half full like a semi-circle (if that makes any sense). Email already sent to GX pumps. I'll report back what they say.

Flushing the water several times is good. I probably pumped more than a gallon thru mine before it ran clear. Regardless of how well it was flowing after you flushed it, I'd verify water flow every time I turned it on (hence my adding LEDs to make it easy to see).

Take your grease pot out, turn the knob until the grease is level, then back it off 2-3 turns and reinstall it. This will prevent you from just pushing air into the cylinder when you turn the knob one time at around 6-10 hours from now. (As you can see from my thread, I had the same issue with a huge air pocket in my grease pot too. Many do.)

Tuning  I cannot recall seeing this before

The AC.... I am storing my guns down in the basement between sessions, there is my mans cave.
From door to door distance is about 15 minutes and my gun cases are well padded with closed foam layers, this a good thermal protection as well.
I remember now when I was setting up the gun at the bench the parts and bits pieces were cold on touch.
I didn't even season my scope just started shooting and minutes later when the rain started sipping a lot of humid not much air to bread neither, probably well above 95%.

N/A  Springer-centric competitions

Yes! We started as a Schutzenverein in 1864. Bringing back the old discipline but for Airguns! Luftgewehr Schutzen. We also shoot PCP’s to 50 and 100. The permanent steps were removed from the 100yd. I made some to be “portable” between the 25,50 and 100yd ranges. Works well! We are also holding a traditional Schutzenfest in October too, with a Konig bird, clay star shoot etc.

Diana  The 36, Sooner or Later, It Happens!

well, some Tite bond or Gorilla glue would have done the job but
Neither would be a proper fix. Those are both what I would use to send it down the road for someone else to deal with later!

Devcon, is way better than those glues if I just wanted to glue it together.

I don't work that way. There are bandaid, and there are CURES.

Bandaids are quick fixes that leave a rifle less reliable than new.

Cures make the repair better and more reliable than new. Also it will be stronger than the original stock, and as light or possibly an oz lighter? But definitely stronger.

By making the fix with a cure, I can sell it later if I wish and know the buyer has a trouble free platform they can rely on.

Lastly,,, no,,, it's not for sale. This is way to nice of a rifle for me to part with. So either way keeping or selling, I'll have the piece of mind knowing I didn't cheap out, and did the repair responsibly, and correct for any choice I make to sell in the future.

Airforce  Long Range .308

That area that you circled shows two digital readouts. When activated, shows battery voltage and adjustable capacitor charge voltage. My long range builds have electronic trigger/hammer systems.

EDGUN LESHIY 2 REFLEX

I have the Behemoth Tri-lug and it makes a huge difference on my Leshiy 2 350mm. The reflex system should be at least the same or better. Highly recommend the Behemoth.
Thanks buddy...I have the Behemouth, but want to add the reflex. I appreciate your comment. 🙏🏾

Halo’s? Alright, maybe.

Nope. Not at the dealers I usually buy from. Where are you sourcing yours?
Nope. Not at the dealers I usually buy from. Where are you sourcing yours?
From ebay, type in Varmint Knockers and you'll see the immediate selection. He also makes different weight sizes you just gotta ask.
Then the next question is, what happens to the accuracy at range?
You end up loosing a smidge of BC, but the accuracy remains mostly the same as long as you don't throw off the balance by removing too much.

Airforce  New Talon SS Classic Bottle question

Update On AF service.
I’ve held off commenting to give AF a more than reasonable chance… I think. AF received my gun 9/19. The email containing my RMA # and return mailing label claimed I was set to priority repair.

It will be seven weeks on Thursday. Called twice at weeks five and six and got a very cordial lady who gave me some info after saying that a tech was out sick and thus part of the reason for delay, but they were testing my gun and weren’t quite satisfied. Same info both times. Promised to call back on both occasions, but that didn’t happen.

Today their phone system said they were not taking calls. I replied to the original ‘RMA’ email…. generated by the same lady I talked to on the phone… and got no response.

I really enjoy my other two AF guns, and I’m waiting for the opportunity to enjoy this one. 🤷‍♂️
