Western Airguns  Rattler 452

Because they don't really do that. Alligator attacks on humans , here in America are very rare. Crocodile, on the other hand, is a completely different story
Good for them .. but gone anyway 🔫 🔫 🔫 🔫 but not by me I really don't have the time.. to much work not enough day .

Umarex  Official Umarex Notos parts list and schematic diagram in PDF format.

New guy here, and thanks to Nikoum for providing the parts and schematics lists, it's much appreciated.

I've recently picked up a Notos, added a couple of cool pieces from Bravo 3D, mounted an Athlon Argos scope and after looking for the biggest bang for the buck pump ended up with a Spritech that did it's job fairly well. Anyway, after the first test firing and zeroing in, I packed everything away and the following day I set up for another session only to find that an o-ring was missing from the quick fill probe that prevented me from getting another session going. I was wondering if anyone here would know the sizes of the o-rings on it, specifically the pair of o-rings that seals that port that delivers air into the carbine's cylinder. When I tried measuring the single o-ring that was remaining with a digital caliper I came up with 7x4x1.5mm but didn't see the probe listed in the parts list Nikoum provided. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Do you have airguns sitting in limbo (in need of repair)?

How do you store spare parts and keep up with which parts belong to which gun? Are you organized?
I'm not that organized but I do know where everything is at. For spare parts, I place them inside the box the gun came in. O-rings are in separate boxes. I need one of those tray organizers to make it easier to identify.

Air Venturi  Avenge X maintaince question

Buzzys is still available on Amazon. I got the yellow tube this spring. I think it's petroleum based?
I don’t remember. I know many people in the paintball world used it at the time. Although I guess paintball markers operate at a much lower pressure. Might not be good in certain areas of a pcp.

Hawke 4X32 adjustment question

Ahh ok! Thanks! I just wanted to make sure it wasn't out of the ordinary. I guess it has to move alot because its such a close distance?

4 clicks is 1" @ 100 yards.

So

4 clicks is 1/4" @ 25 yards

13 yards is about half of 25...

So 4 clicks is about 1/8". Or 32 clicks per inch @ 12.5 yards.

Umarex  Notos Porting

I looked into changing the spring for a stronger one and...

I already have the (very nearly) strongest possible spring that will fit. A custom spring could get another 5% or so but any more than that and the spring will be pushing into plastic deformation.

That said... a custom hammer might allow a longer travel. Maybe. This could kill two or three birds with one stone... since the stock hammer is soft with a bad surface finish.... might be possible to improve the trigger feel, reduce the hammer wear, and increase power. Hmm...

There is a lot of space for a heavier hammer. 404 stainless should wear well but it would need a high polish

HW/Weihrauch  .20 Caliber HW77K

I bought my first .20 in June, a ‘97 with walnut stock, and I’m a believer. It’s shooting JSB 13.73 around 720fps with a John in PA tune. I’ve owned maybe 6 or 8 .177 spring guns from Weihrauch and Air Arms and have never been able to shoot groups like I have with this one. I absolutely love it.

Smokin specimen...wow man 😮 (y)

Gamo  When does a Gamo think Its a Weihrauch/TX200

I shoot mine almost always @ 50yd targets; anything closer is no challenge. Crazy-accurate, not hold sensitive, and very powerful.
A beast to cock though. This gun requires a beefy backstop, as it will go thru 1/2" plywood like its not there. I will never sell mine.

RAW Rapid  RAW w/ SS. LW .25

Ive had a chance to do some testing a few barrels. Finaly got to test the .25 SS LW @ 23.82" NO choke
Bore .248
Groove .254
Grooves - 10
twist 17.7"
Stainless @ .71 " OD
I drop shipped this to Martin earlier this year along with a Lilja barrel. Fitment is perfect on both. Wind was mild today but steady.
The only .25 pellets I have on hand are 33.95 jsb mkII & it seems to like em.. all slugs I have on hand didn't make me happy.
I'm shooting them fairly hot as the RAW is set up for .30. I also have a Huma in it.
these are the only 2 groups I shot this afternoon before wind got silly. both at 75 yards. I like 100 but to windy lately for anything serious as usual.
The 1st group was a random shot sighter, then 1 click scope corrected after 2nd, then shot 5 group. The did it again without any correction. I still haven't got the trigger to my liking & will pull action & adjust again.

Other  Drozd Blackbird

The full auto system only works well with HPA. In Co2 the gas gets colder and colder and shoots slower and slower. The Drozd unaltered and just juiced up with batteries fit my needs better. Same gun really one with a motorized loader is all. The blackbird would shoot with mags also. I was offerd more than I paid for it so SOLD.

How Can I Improve My Scoping Skills and Set My Scope Correctly for 50, 80, and 100 Yards?"

You need a Dope card and a data book. When you go shooting take these with you and update it and learn what your rifle is doing.

Data On Previous Engagement <---- write down EVERY shot and every condition. The more you are able to document what you are shooting in and what is happening, the easier it will be to know what to dial for, or where to hold on your scope.

A ballistics program will help you understand the relationship between your optic and the rifle. You can play with velocities and different weights and then see what happens.

T-Post trap rack

Using old bent t-post from fence row I replaced. A rot and termite proof T-Post trap/target rack .

( Sorry.. used trap bucket off another rack to check/test ..🥴)
tposttraprack.png

Just old t-post cut the good part out and easy removable to clean out 5 gallon bucket target trap . Added spinner extensions as needed with smooth rod . Easy to move around like for mowing or just a new location..

Round bucket trap and put it at the 20y spot .

Looks like a good spot for it ..😉

Other  Has this happened to you?

This will be my second 124, got the first one probably 49 years ago, still going strong.
Yes the C&R license is great, It's a Federal license and costs $30 for 3 years, so I can do a lot of shopping for firearms on the internet and and have them shipped directly to me. I can buy and sell, but have only bought, not planning on going through the paperwork for sales, one or two would not be much. You are able to sell to"enhance" a collection. One other thing is that you have to keep a bound book of purchases and sales. I got one from Brownellss and make all the entries and keep the receipts and C&R license copy of the seller in the book
When making a purchase you have to send the seller a fresh signed copy of the license. From my limited experience, I think the dealers, really larger gun shops I have bought treat C&R holders a bit better. The last two said send personal checks, which I did and they shipped the guns out the day they received the checks without holding to see if they cleared.
