N/A  Trajectron 1/2-20 adapters for Weihrauch HW44 and Steyr LP50

I have bought two 1/2-20 adapters from Trajectron, one for Weihrauch HW44 and one for Steyr LP50. I initially bought the adapter for the HW44 to get rid of the cumbersome solution for the Weihrauch silencer, but also bought an adapter for the LP50 when I first needed something from Trajectron. Both adapters look good, are well made and fit perfectly. Thumbs up! :) (y)

The only thing I can put my finger on, is that the LP50 adapter should have come with an M3x5 set screw incuded, the original M3x3 set screw disappears uncomfortably far down into the threads of the barrel shroud when the adapter is fixed. An M3x5 set screw would have been perfect to fasten the adapter with.

Beeman  Another one today

I figure measuring ID of the cap and OD on the turret there is the difference of threads. All of mine are too big or too small.

I measured my Hawke turret at .90. Tasco too. The inside of the caps are about .887.

I bet they would fit. I don't have extras. You could find one. Plenty of dead ones out there. I bet Tasco made that Beeman scope. Tasco caps might fit just right.

FX  Dream Tac Compact....Questions and Comments

My DTC is in .177. It's deadly accurate (if the wind is not too high, being a .177), the stock folds for compactness and is adjustable for length, and the 300 cc bottle gives me enough shots for hunting. I use mine as a bird/small game gun. It's one of my favorite rifles. I have many other guns for power, or target shooting. Buy a gun with a purpose in mind and reasonable expectations and you won't be disappointed.

Huben  All Things HUBEN GK1 (air pistol) - Master Thread

my use of these words refers to the fact that people who have questions also have the autonomy to ask them in the forum in general/decentralized.

as the threads are also something people can 'follow' those with many followers have potentially also more readers/people who could answer questions,
there were things i asked in my own little threads, with no responses, but when same or similar things were asked in more *popular'/centralized threads people got responses quickly. so, i think if one is interested in getting answers quickly, i makes sense to ask them in these higher frequented threads.

i still think curating the threads and sorting them into categories is a helpful thing to have. thank you for that.
Since there is considerable confusion/misunderstanding on this thread's design, perhaps you can refine your explanation of how you intended this thread to function so that there is more alignment?

is this plausible

i’m only using one laser when shooting. the image is a rough visual description. the green similar to what i see around 20 yards and the red would be that same green laser at say 110 yards(example only). i just used the color red to be to be able to represent with a depiction what i’m talking about without confusing the reader with two green lasers on one reticle. weirdly enough, the cant seems to be subconsciously adjusted for to a degree within my shooting range when using the laser like this.. but like i said, i could just be tricking myself. i’m asking people to try it out and see if they experience what i’m noticing but having a hard time to explaining.

Crosman  Replacement 1322 Appears to be Canadian

I meant air valve, not cylinder. Block the Canadian bleed hole with lead solder.

Thanks for the link! That's exactly what I was looking for.

Brocock/BRK  brocock Commander XR .22 not to be confused with my Commander XR Magnum needs 20 MOA?

Sky King,

Correct, If you are shooting low and run out of vertical adjustment, raise the rear of the scope up with your adjustable rings.

Jerry
I gave up on this after I put on a 20 MPA mount and just mounted a NV scope on them which doesn't have that vertical adjustment limitation.

Brocock/BRK  RESOLVED Brocock Commander XR Magnum .22 Will Not Cock and it's NOT the stage 2 trigger screw

RESOLVED

Brocock Commander XR Magnum .22 Will Not cock and it's NOT the stage 2 trigger screw

So after I recovered the sear, after the sear pin fell out, and the sear fell into the hammer chamber, I reassembled the trigger assembly pursuant to the excellent Brocock/Brk workshop videos. But it would not cock. I tried all in ans all out on the stage to trigger adjustment screw and it made no difference. Any suggestions on where to look for the problem or for the solution to the problem?

TIA Please stay safe and well, you and yours' !

Repairing chip, dings, and scratches on airgun finish.

okay sounds good
now if you were to take it apart and go to the trouble to strip it down i think i would take it in and have it powder coated, more money yes but better finish
good luck with your new pistol
Good point, if I go through the whole trouble of disassembling it down to pieces and stripping down the original paint, I'll most likely get it powder coated then. Thank you!

N/A  New to me PCP shotgun...

What pressure do you fill it to?

GsT
Currently, I've only put about 200 psi into it.

I need to get the tanks valve out and check the condition of the tank for heavy corrosion or pitting. If it looks good, I'll fill it with water and test it to about 1100psi. I suspect the gun will work well using between 600 and 700 psi

FX  FX Mavrick Grub Screw C53

I believe it is there because that is how they drill or machine the port. Once that is done they tap it and put the grub screw in to seal it.
That is supposition on my part but i could see no other reason for the hole.
This is correct. The purpose of C53 is to plug the top port as a result of the block fabrication. If you inadvertently tightened or removed C53, it shall be resealed. C53 shall not contact the o-rings or transfer port of the barrel.

And much quieter!
I bought a pretty nice 22 for 100 yard target shooting . I don’t know how rim fire ammo works but when I clean measure weigh and oil my pellets . The rim fire ammo seems inconsistent by comparison. And you don’t get 1000 rounds for forty bucks.
