GX cs2 and cs3 fan positions and cs4 cylinders

GX has changed the fan postions a number of times on the cs2 and cs3 models, and that corresponds with cylinder design changes...Also with the cs3 some do not and never had the large fan at the back of the motor, this also is directly related to the cylinder fan positions.

If one was to remove cs2 or cs3 cylinder fans or if you are replacing them, be sure to pay attention to their position as far as air flow goes.

Also, the cs4 has 2 outer cylinder types...smooth or ribbed. I have not found any noticeable differences in cooling between the two types. The ribbed type seems to be mostly if not exclusively, on the older cs4 compressors.

Brocock/BRK  Results with Brocock/Brk Commander XR .22 with JTS 25.39 pellets and NSA .217 20.2g slugs

https://www.facebook.com/share/p/H1c3NdvmmCgw7GZQ/

Results with Brocock/Brk Commander XR (not Magnum) in .22

Of 25.39g pellets, JTS was marginally more accurate than JSB. The JTS were cleaner and no damaged skirts. My choice was JTS which had a FPE of apprx 36 ft lbs at 803 fps as you can see from chrono image. Very accurate (both of them at 30m and 50m) although JTS accuracy was a little tighter/better.

I then tested NSA slugs .217 20.2 at 830 fps and 31 ft/lbs. Interesting... had identical POI as the JSB and JTS 25.39g pellets, but the slugs produced less energy. These slugs were extremely accurate at 30m and 50m.

On the images, 803 speed is for 25.39 JTS pellets and 830 fps was on NSA 20.2g .217 slugs

Amojnt of air used pef shot with regulated plenum

I am trying to work out how many shots I will get out of my modified Airforce Stealth.
So I have built twin bottle both 480 cc at front under the frame.
These are regulated going into the old airtank and enlarged plenum in line with bore.
This plenum and tank will have second regulator fitted so the whole tank and plenum ard at lower pressure.
How do I work out the amount of shots at various fill pressures? The new valve is going to be enlarged to about .35 inch.
Running .30 cal and .35 cal with cast and swagged bullets/slugs.
Any help and advice please feel free to suggest better plan.

FX  Fx Drs classic 500 mm or daystatte Revere

Thank you for confirming the baffles and air stripper. I never could get a definitive answer on that. I've wanted one for years, well the s410, but might as well get the 510. After getting the revere, I want to see the quality of the AAs.

Do you know if they make the s510 carbine in 25 caliber? I know they make 25s in the full length.
AA doesn't make the carbine in .25. They make the tactical in .25 which is a carbine length with the non-removable moderator and chassis.

JTS  Where should I buy my first PCP?

I am going to order my first PCP tomorrow. JTS aircuda max. I would like to hear your feedback on these stores
Utah Airgun
Pyramid Air
Air guns of Arizona

I’m new and this is my first post
I have been shooting a Crosman trail np for 13 years. Health issues I can no longer cock the rifle thus the need for PCP
Thanks
If you’re staying with Crosman go to @Airgun-Revisions

Atomic XR/Arken Zulus… one dozen Rats

looks like you had fun! Definitely good footage. I am on week two of waiting for my Arken Zulus LRF as my Cantaloupe and watermelon in the garden are currently being decimated by small vermin at night.
From the first shot knew it was going to be a good night… You’ll get your chance to make them pay for trespassing… Post up your impressions once you’ve punished the vermin adequately… Good luck! To the vermin, they’re going to need it.

Disposing of woodchucks

I use a .30 with slugs and it’s still head or neck shots for me. If they can run off with a hit from a 22-250, no airgun is in the realm of that. This one was this morning just under 100 yards. I waited until it was quartering towards me (for margin of error) then took it in the dome. For me an airgun just doesn’t deliver enough shock to rely on planting them with body shots every time. You’ll find out. Unless you buy a 45-50 caliber airgun. In which case, just use the 221 fireball. I had a pistol in that caliber. It was my Oklahoma coyote killer.

Groundhog Annihilation

@N2 Shooter , What amount of FPE are your slugs producing at 100 yards compared to the Hades? With good shot placement, which you have shown in your videos. 12 FPE at POI will terminate a woodchuck humanely..,
I'm producing around 35fpe at that distance, but I'm not certain what my accuracy will be, as the Hades are more wind sensitive.

That's a good reason to try and get some range time and figure this out!

FX  Impact POI help!

ordered a black arts clamp, and air marksman rail a few weeks ago and installed them yesterday. took everything out and resighted it this afternoon...money. Gun shoots and feels a whole lot more "rigid". no impact shifting at distances/scope zooms/etc. I think its still a pellet gun as is, but shooting JSB hades at 930 fps its an absolute cannon, accurate out to 150+ yards and fun as hell to shoot. so thats gonna be just fine with me. On a side note, I put some FX hybrids into my .25 maverick and the POI was the EXACT same as the JSB Hades. same hole at 50 yards and sub MOA at 85 yards. absolutely savage rifle, no movement, perfect trigger. It's so much more accurate than the impact in .35, but then again its shooting much lighter projectiles as lower pressures.
