Shoebox compressor f8 o ring sizes

Gotcha. So, that part should be okay.
If it shows a leak at the Delrin (oiler) nut, then it is leaking from the inside O-Ring. The Delrin nut should not be tightened for leakage, you'll break it. It's only there to hold the oiler felts, nothing more.
I am assuming that you cleaned the inside of the cylinder extremely well before replacing all of the innards, right? There can be a buildup of gunk inside if it's not cleaned, this will cause leaking and since liquid is not compressible, you won't be able to get the pressure much past 1,000PSI, if at all. DO NOT use any sort of wire brush on the cylinders, it will scratch the surface and will not seal with the O-Rings afterwards. I normally use Goo Gone or similar with cotton swabs and pipe cleaners, then a final flush with Goo Gone, then flush that with water. Allow to dry well or blow-dry with dry air, then reinstall all of the innards and try it out.
You're not getting a good seal with the O-Rings inside.

Air Venturi  Moving Groups

I had issues with POI shifts in my avenger and one item you may want to check is the spring adjustment screw. If you do a lot of tweaking like I have done, the screw gets loose and the vibrations shot to shot will have it moving. The avengers do not have a set screw for the hammer spring tensioner unlike guns like Hatsan which you had to loosen the set screw before adjusting the spring. I fixed mine by drill and tapping two M5 holes in the existing screw holes to both sides of the tensioner assembly. Repleced the old screws with M5 grub screws with nylon tips. This allows you to lock in the tensioner screw by tightening the grub screws on the left and right. Does not require disassembly since the grub screws can be accessed with the receiver in the stock.

Huben  Huben GK1 Target Groups (photo thread)

I didn’t change my reticle yet, but my last group is one that I feel good about. This is the smallest target I shot measuring about 0.5” in diameter. 8-shot group shooting offhand from 10 yards out. Shot from my .25 GK1 V3 w/Holosun 507c circle/dot reticle shooting JSB King 25.39 grain diabolo pellets.

Group size approx 1.25” CTC.

Now the key is to do the things I focused upon this evening for similar results.

Edit: My measurements were all off. Thankfully I took photo. Lol. I’m still happy with this group.

Results  Field Target Match - Fairless Hills, PA-Sunday July 21, 2024

It was another beautiful day at Falls Township for a field target match with sunny skies and no wind! I want to thank everyone for coming out and supporting our match.

We had 15 people accept the challenge of our woodland course which offered an array of challenging targets as well as some designed for our newer shooters. I mixed things up a bit this month with a new offhand lane and an all-new lane. The course’s average distance was 25.1 yds. with an approximate 27.0 Troyer including lighting. Justin Hess won the Hunter Division with a 55, John Stellwag Jr. had the high overall and high WFTF with a 58, Brian Vanliew took open class with a 56.

A special thanks to everyone for their participation and helping clean up. Our next match is an outdoor rifle & pistol silhouette match on 18 Aug and our next field target event will be 15 Sept. Hope to see everyone there!

GX cs2 and cs3 fan positions and cs4 cylinders

GX has changed the fan postions a number of times on the cs2 and cs3 models, and that corresponds with cylinder design changes...Also with the cs3 some do not and never had the large fan at the back of the motor, this also is directly related to the cylinder fan positions.

If one was to remove cs2 or cs3 cylinder fans or if you are replacing them, be sure to pay attention to their position as far as air flow goes.

Also, the cs4 has 2 outer cylinder types...smooth or ribbed. I have not found any noticeable differences in cooling between the two types. The ribbed type seems to be mostly if not exclusively, on the older cs4 compressors.

Brocock/BRK  Results with Brocock/Brk Commander XR .22 with JTS 25.39 pellets and NSA .217 20.2g slugs

https://www.facebook.com/share/p/H1c3NdvmmCgw7GZQ/

Results with Brocock/Brk Commander XR (not Magnum) in .22

Of 25.39g pellets, JTS was marginally more accurate than JSB. The JTS were cleaner and no damaged skirts. My choice was JTS which had a FPE of apprx 36 ft lbs at 803 fps as you can see from chrono image. Very accurate (both of them at 30m and 50m) although JTS accuracy was a little tighter/better.

I then tested NSA slugs .217 20.2 at 830 fps and 31 ft/lbs. Interesting... had identical POI as the JSB and JTS 25.39g pellets, but the slugs produced less energy. These slugs were extremely accurate at 30m and 50m.

On the images, 803 speed is for 25.39 JTS pellets and 830 fps was on NSA 20.2g .217 slugs

Amojnt of air used pef shot with regulated plenum

I am trying to work out how many shots I will get out of my modified Airforce Stealth.
So I have built twin bottle both 480 cc at front under the frame.
These are regulated going into the old airtank and enlarged plenum in line with bore.
This plenum and tank will have second regulator fitted so the whole tank and plenum ard at lower pressure.
How do I work out the amount of shots at various fill pressures? The new valve is going to be enlarged to about .35 inch.
Running .30 cal and .35 cal with cast and swagged bullets/slugs.
Any help and advice please feel free to suggest better plan.
