Other  New Scba tank question

Fill that sucker up and get some lead in the air.

My 9L Cf tank i got in the start of the year, it is made in 2023 so still some years to its first mandatory test.

My 2012 200 BAR steel bottle, is really due for inspection, but as it have only been filled 6 or 7 times ( before 2015 ) i am still reluctant to spend money on that, seeing as i also have my own big bottle compressor.

BUT !!!! i might well drain it of the 100 or so bar in it, and do a visual inspection on it myself, and then proceed as is.
I think my friends snake camera should allow for a visual inspection,

Diana  P5 Fiber Optic Sight?

well i guess you are talking OLD Diana not new
the rods can be found and are easy to replace heat one end make a small ball cut so you
can do the same thing on the other end
that would be the front sight the rear is a U and would need some skill

Thanks for your help. The rod came, got it installed without drama. Now I have extras for next time.

Theoben  Best caliber for Crow Magnum?

How is the pellet fit on a .25 CM? Assuming accuracy is more than acceptable on these.
My Kodiak is a loose fit with every pellet I’ve found. This includes all sorts of random Beeman pellets no longer in production. Power is about all it has going for it.
I use an HW80k around the backyard for short-range pest work, and pretty much every pellet I have is a tight fit. Accuracy is top notch for its intended use.
My Kodiak was also a very good looking gun, with bluing that was second to none and the stock had fantastic lines despite being beech.

On the whole though I've got to agree with you. The trigger was poor and it never seemed to group well regardless of what pellet I tried. Even the power was disappointing. I remember seeing it being advertised as capable of 820 fps and 30 fpe in .25, but mine never made more than about 26 fpe.

CVLife3x9 40AO

Tonight I put my new CV scope on my old Gamo Whisper. Took a bit to zero but I really like the scope so far. I am on a limited budget so “economical” scopes are the way to go for me. It really performs for me at 40yds. I watched some videos on it before getting it from Walmart. Got a 2 yr warranty , just in case.Stay well all👍🙏😉

Is this a good choice? Immersive prismatic 10 x 40 scope the yard is 30 yards wide so close range shooting.

Eyeballing, right. The eye relief on the 10x (and your 14x too?), is so short that the eyelashes dust the ocular with every blink. Certainly if one were wearing false eyelashes (say, for drag queen shooting hour), one would not be able to close one's shooting eye, it's that close. I wouldn't shoot a springer with one. The 5x30 has a more normal eye relief.
Yes you are correct on the short eye relief on the 14x. I can't wear my glasses with the 14x, but I shoot without them most all the time except for that "extreme quick opportunity" which I don't get too often! I hunt with both scopes and their size, FOV, excellent parallax control make it easier for me when out and about.

Slow Day With the Zulus

Big storms hit last night so after some chainsaw work I thought I'd do some pesting at the neighbors. Not a single squirrel or rabbit to be seen. So I went for a different pest, a weed.
Luckily that have slow response time giving me a second shot.

dens , I used a rose petal to re-zero the Stryker yesterday after I saw the pellets hitting left of the chipmunk raiding the garden ! After two shots I was back on track , the next one got the job done . It's now providing nutrients to the plants it was feeding on !

Foster Fitting QD Sizes?

I have the same problem knowing which thread is in which fitting etc. Matter of fact I'm trying to figure out to use my grandsons old paint ball tanks as a quick storage for air for my PCP's I measured the outside dia. on the the threads and them measure.80 inches. is there a female foster fitting to fit that
.825 NGO. Co2 tanks 1800 psi max. Air/nitrogen tanks vary but have low output pressure.

FX  New Impact MK4

Looking at the ads for the M4, I don't see any mention of a moderator except on the compact which specifically says no moderator is included. Do the standard and sniper lengths come with moderators? For the Palm Beach site, I recall having options to choose the FX or DonnyFL moderator with a rifle, but now there's no mention of either.

Prime Day Deal! 6.8L Bottle and Reg with Carry Bag

I did buy it. For things like this, I prefer Amazon where I have complete recourse if there’s a problem. Saving $100 on eBay buying from a rando isn’t in the cards for me.

Of course, to each his own. With the discounts for Prime and Prime Day I saved $80 and paid nothing for shipping. And I have the ability to return it if it’s not perfect.

I looked at a few similar bottles in the Classifieds, @$500 + $200 for an arguably nicer carrying bag, but I think the one I bought will do the job and save me $300 beans.

Appreciate you posting those though!

Best,
Mark

Side Wheel for Element Theos

JD makes a general size collar that clamps down very tightly, no marring or anything. Easy setup.
All you have to do is provide him with an OD measurement of the parallax knob itself and pick a wheel design you like. Ive seen and talked with JD in person several times, he donates a lot of product back to the clubs to help benefit the clubs and sport. Good guy. USPS has had major issues especially in ATL with packages not processing etc..well known but he is in TN.

FX  FX Boss Tuner

Being in Washington Utah air is probably your best bet. However I would like to say if you want to stay in the same power category you are now I think the reg pressure will have to stay up where it is. That really only leaves tweaking the hammer spring tension which is super easy tuning if you have a chrono.

Results  Tulsa 13 July 24 FT results

You guys are too kind with the praise. I think last month or the one before Rick Cuccio and I tied. I think he may have got me on the forced positions.
I think I did get home this month without any of your little friendlies attached. The Tulsa guys have put in a lot of work and their range keeps showing it. Now if they'd just level that mound on the standing lane.....

Hybrid in 700 30 1:38?

I was lucky to find a used 1:22 700 mm for my MK2. It shoots Hybirds and 44.5 pellets very near the same point of impact at 75 yards. Both projectiles are very accurate.
I found the same with my 600 1:22 on my crown. Hybrids almost as accurate as pellets. I’ll just keep looking for a 122 for the Panthera and send this 1:38 back (and get a heavy).
