cheap targets

these are what I use with a piece of card stalk paper I buy by the sleeve. There is like 1000 colored dots the size of a dime. I use them for both air gunning in the yard and powder burners at the range.

That's what I use. I don't like black targets because you can't see your shots. White card stock is the best.

Diana  D75 T01 Rear Sight

5-10 years ago the model 75 TO1 sights would come up for sale at fair prices and all the time
not any more they are selling for 125.00 to 200.00 they are worth 100.00
and chuck is right about Egun for pricing and difficulty but one other thing the sight do not show up there either as much
okay then what do you do upgrade to a Model 100 diopter or the very rare model 82 good luck with that
you can go old Anschutz but their prices have gotten stupid
the rule i have is never buy a rifle that should have sight that doesn't have them and if so find what it will cost them and reduce the price and if it is now to high make an offer or walk away
i see people looking for sight on a normal rifle and target rifle and it is the same thing they are going to spend a lot of money to replace what is missing

i will check Egun later
so at Egun the seller selects shipping to just Germany or to the EU only or they might list international
so you find a sight for Germany only you are out of luck you can send an email but the chances of get one back and or changing there mind 0%
the EU seller could change his mind but the shipping will make your eyes water
now some use Pay Pal easy and fast otherwise you will be looking to transfer the money using say World remit

N/A  Notos vs pp750 vs aea vs jts ariacuda max or stander vs ava

What do yall think of the bsa r10 or daystate huntsman
Ive got a BSA R10 SE .22 and its flat out accurate and very consistently so.. it will do half inch groups at 50 if I do my part with either 15.89 gr/18.1 gr JSB.. Its a heavier gun with scope but very easy to shoot accurately. My FX Dreamline Classic .22 will do it also its just a light gun and a little less stable when shooting.

Accidentally slugged my barrel. What do I do with the data?

1. Buy a micrometer:

2. Slug the barrel from the breech:

3. Determine best performing slug at your preferred sight-in distance with specified groove diameter.

4. Sample slug at groove diameter, and one slug .001 above and below the groove diameter (preferred distance, then two sight-ins 10 or 20 yards apart) for a comprehensive test.

Airforce  Air Force Condor review, a case report in how "utilitarian" can be a positive.

Thank you for the great info. I too purchased a condor last fall (2024) for pretty much the same reason. It was on sale, and the simple design spoke to me. I know the design lends itself to an incredible amount of power. Since I purchased the gun in November, I havent done much shooting. I purchased the .22 with 24' barrel. Also purchased a .25 18" barrel. I am not a fan of adapters because they can wiggle. I have had both barrels threaded for 1/2 x 20. I also purchsed an additional condor valve, ring-loc, Huben regulator, and another tank. This way I can switch between a regulated gun and non-regulated (for hunting). I look forward to getting outside this spring and testing...and eventually hunting with it. I have been reading about the frame flex issue. I like the gun the way it is, but just purchased the tri-rail mount. I needed to purchase some different scope rings, so I got them both at the same time. We'll see.

Also, I look forward to reading more about your testing and outcomes.

Thanks.

Unfortunately, I sold the Condor a few months back. There was nothing wrong with it, I just walked into the gunroom one day and had three guns laying on tables and more in the gun cabinet and in hard cases and just got overwhelmed with having more than I can shoot. So I listed it and it sold fast.

Solid guns though. If I ever get to a point where I really really want to simplify, I could see myself going down to my USFT for target work, and a Condor for pesting. Those two specifically because they're both low fill pressure guns, and are pretty sippy on the air. Could sell my compressors if I thinned down the herd that much.

How can I know that there is not a MIL/MOA mismatch between the reticle and the adjuster before buying?

I use both mil and moa scopes. As long as the turret matches the reticle then it is simply a measuring system with graduated clicks.

As far as a big 34mm tube goes, that Marauder is going to be a big top-heavy gun. I'd seriously look into a smaller, lighter scope with the 30mm tube. There's a lot of great quality options out there with that tube size. Also, that is a lot of lower magnification for a medium power and range pellet shooter unless you are only shooting targets off a benchrest.

Airgun Technologies  AGT Uragan vs Uragan 2

Any of you boys that own the original Uragan, also own or spend any time shooting a Uragan 2 ?
I looked onto YouTube a little, doesn't seem to be any, "one vs. the other", that I could find. But I did notice that once the stock is removed, the guns actually seem pretty different under the skin.

I just have the curiosity for the possibility of a new gun !

Note - I also used the search function here, and Google a little. Just mostly found a similar question as mine, posted by others. The answers, were mostly not all that relevant about the actual guns.
More about what "stock color did you get" !!! .

Thanks

Mike
Yes, the frames are different on both. I tried fitting an old FORM stock my U2 that used to br on my buddys U1 and it does not fit in the hand grip area. That being said, I've shot his U1 .30 and shooting them feels about the same. There may be a slight shift in balance but not something that's TOO noticeable.

A few more rats for the Atomic XR…

These unlucky five fell to the Atomic XR with the Zulus atop tonight 7-20-24, the rats find the combo simply irresistible…🤓 I did record some of the kills but haven’t viewed the recordings yet. Was particularly tired so did not stay long.

Hello @L.Leon

Well those little fellows look pretty tired also ;)

Other  Hy-Score 814 Junior --- Anyone Ever Own One Of These?

Is the body of the Schmidt polymer if some sort and the loading port screws out the back of the gun/barrel? That looks like one I had for sure, got it mail order.
I think mine is die cast metal, I'll have to get it out again & double check. Yes little loading screw at the back.

N/A  Skout Epoch or FX Impact M4 ??

Why because number 1 everything is high preasure, two these guns maybe cost between 300 to 500 to build and they sell them between 2000 and and 4000 depending on what you get it wouldnt be hard to make them out of stainless steel or if you really wanna do everyone a solid titanium and i know it can be done because i have seen it done, and another thing i have seen it done in a crappy machine shop with standard machines the people that make these over priced guns have high end cnc machines, but thats just my opinion the world will always be make it as cheap as poss and sell it for the most you can get.
Yes, you have to love Capitalism the most equal method in the world.

Is material cost the only part of the issue?

I worked for Corning Inc, R&D Fiber Optic Micro, the Fiber Optic Glass we used only cost pennies in silicon, but 20 years invested in the process to get the purity required and how to make the index of refraction mismatch work for long haul telecommunication, plus the equipment and measurement systems that needed to be invented. Good thing it was only pennies for the silicon.

Not tying to be an ***, and I have a CNC mill in my garage as well as two lathes (wood and metal), but there is way more to any product than just material cost.

I also have two patents on a product I hope to launch soon, part cost for raw materials is only $20ish bucks, buy time its molded into a usable shape, well that price has to go up.

Results  N50 Results 7/20/24 Open Grove

Nine shooters showed up this morning for a sunny, breezy, really switchy day. Yikes, most of us struggled with the conditions, plus X counts were lower than normal. JoeF stated he went through a whole tin of pellets. New Brandon joined us in Factory and Matt and Keith made the long trip here. Bob reached his limits and is still shooting Sportsman with his pellet rifle.

Overall great day with great company but crappy scores other than Dennis' RAW.
Yeah, I know crappy graphics, I'll fix it later

Maybe "Nate" will be able to do another one like with the Beta Model.
He should or someone should.
It’s a great design and concept. I like it’s looks, size and weight ( although shorter would be welcomed … you hear that MCavity ?)

But as always no matter how well featured accuracy is king. I am not yet sold on that point. I want to be proven wrong …..
