Huben  Regulated vs non regulated air hold ability?

Hi fellas,
quick question,
I was gonna pick up Huben gk1 in .22 but then i found out that these gk1’s are notorious in slow air leaks,
and also Huben is coming out with regulated version of these awesome pcp pistols pretty soon,
i was wondering if slow air leaks have something to do with non regulated systems in these pcp pistols???
thanks.

FX  FX Dreamline PowerPup breech leak

Recently acquired a new to me FX Dreamline PowerPup. Using the .22 barrel (stx superior with both pellet and slug ports) I noticed a big puff of air coming from the breech. Replaced the breech seal and one outer ring (closer to breech) but did not seem to make a difference. Using either pellet or slug side did not matter

Also tried the .177 barrel and that worked splendidly, no air puff in the face

Any thoughts on why the .22 is pushing air out the breech but not the .177? Could it be leaking through the notch on the top of the transfer port meant for ?

Thanks!

Other  Longe range .308 pbba setup

Pretty cool! PBBA makes a bolt action? My PBBA Pro 20 has a brother? Hmmmm, there is a bit of room in the gun safe......might just be able to squeeze it in.

I must ask, can you tell me more about these statements:
* modified stock valve - how is it modified? Why is it modified? Are there written directions on how to do the modifications?
* New bold trigger from john bowman - what is a "bold trigger"?
* New heavy spring from john bowman to fill to 4500 psi and get a ton of more power - who is John Bowman and how do I communicate with him?
Text or call me 601-641-1504 it's a lot to explain on here

Looking for help with charging an FWB 800

That’s normal. A little air will escape until the check valve closes. If you aren’t going to shoot the rifle much I suggest unscrewing the cylinder just enough where air is not going into the rifle. Then cock and dry for the rifle 2-3 times and release the air from the regulator inside the rifle so the regulator doesn’t sit for long periods of time under pressure.

Western Airguns  Finally quieted down the action of my .22 Western Airguns Sidewinder

@Sawney Bean , I'm glad it worked for you, and glad you could corroborate the results. The other day I was shooting with my son nearby and he commented that the gun seemed much quieter as an observer too.

I was thinking about @Dr. Kralenstein 's question about putting it in the stock/chassis, and while there really isn't much of that on the Sidewinder I did realize that there might be some incremental benefit from putting it on the plenum tube, so I took the top skeleton "cover" part off under the scope and put a few strips on the plenum, and then on the underside of the top of that cover part is was just such a "ringy" sounding piece of metal. It turns out the forward pic mount piece is s separate bit of metal, so I put a small section on that too (making sure it did not touch the shroud, so it had to be smallish). I do think these actions helped a bit more, with most of the benefit probably coming from the plenum. Makes me wonder if adding more on the sides of it would help too, but that would be visable (and easily removed if there was no added benefit). Here is what those added bits look like.

Resources  Good Mental Report for Competitors

Good reading. Anyone who has done any service rifle shooting knows how incredibly good are the top shooters. These are the folks who know how to shoot, and are on a different level than the other 99% of us. Their 600 yard targets look like my 100 yard!

Umarex  Trouble filling my Notos

I have a second moisture filter on my Yong Heng that is medium in size and filled with color changing dessicant. As long as it is still orange and not black, I know there should not be any moisture in my tank. I got the filter and the dessicant from Amazon.

I also recommend a dead head. It is just a plug you can put in the line from your compressor to make sure it is building pressure. It was not the issue this time but it could be at some point. They are cheap and are a useful diagnostic tool. I got that from Amazon too.

Anyone have any repair experience with a Vevor dual fan model 4500psi model?

Parts came yesterday, they included more than what was originally pictured. It looks like the mounting plate and the cylinders have been slightly redesigned. The temp probe also has been moved from the cooling fins to the cylinder head. The only thing they did not include is a fitting for the air intake, the old style was a small nipple that will not fit the new head. I sent them an email but I am sure I can fab something up that will work just fine.

Crosman 2250 co2 cart stuck

This happened a few times with my 2250. I was able to fix it every time by cocking the gun, pointing the gun downwards, and pulling the trigger. The cartridge just falls out the tube. I hope it's as simple as that for you. Good luck!
As I (and others) have mentioned previously, the Diana Airbugs/Chasers and the Artemis CP1/CP2 CO2 guns have that oval shaped hole provided in the cartridge tube for "helping" to free a stuck CO2 cartridge. I have used this feature a few times to free stuck (stuck may be too strong of a word here) cartridges on all three of these guns. Handy little feature... I really don't see any problem drilling a carefully located hole in the Crosmans to mimic this feature. The cartridges VERY seldom stick, but when they DO, it is a simple matter to utilize that hole with a non-marring tool of some sort to free the cartridge. I do think a drop of PellGun oil on the cartridge tip prior to piercing is a good preventative measure to help prevent sticking, as well as to provide a small amount of lubrication to the gun's innards. I will have to try your idea about simply firing the gun to see if this works to free "stuck" CO2 cartridges on the aforementioned brands.

AEA  AEA Challenger pro.30cal

I'm shooting a 30 cal terminator. The FX 50.2 gr pellet it is by far the best pellet or slug I have shot. It will hit a golf ball every shot at 50 yds. Shoot just a tad over 100 ft lbs. My barrel is a bit oversized. I slugged it and it measures .303. You may want to do the same if you go to slugs. I shoot the .303- 47.2gr NSA cupped base slug. Again right around 100 ft lbs.

JTS  JTS Owners....

Have you been like Me and looking for a single shot Tray for your Airacuda's? Well I was airing up My Avenger and took the Tray out, and it fits perfectly into the Rifle! I just tried it out and it works great. The only difference is you have to pull the Cocking lever back all the way and hold it for it to slide under the probe. On the Avenger the probe stays farther back. But it works great! Just an FYI.

DO YOU LIKE RIDDLES?

Also put in the correct altitude or better yet the actual station pressure at location.

Make sure elevation correction factor is at 1 as well(this is scope click value in case it doesn't track correctly). Check if Zero range is correct(sometimes I switch between a 25Y zero and a 50Y zero but forget to change it in the app), That Zero height is at 0.0, and Zero offset is at 0.0.

Furthermore stated BC's can be off and crappy chronos can be off too.
I did wonder about the accuracy of my range finder. Wish I had a second chronograph. Thanks for the input.
