FX  Maverick and Wildcat quick tune system

The M3 is super easier to tune really. The Maverick isn’t quite as user friendly but it’s still pretty easy. Just have to do some research online to get an idea of the reg pressure that will produce the velocity you want with whatever you are shooting. Info is out there once you have that the rest is pretty straight forward.
I was really just talking about the new innovation being easier than tuning the old Maverick or the Impacts and why it hasn’t got more recognition. To me the old Maverick is hard to tune. The Impacts are easier than the old Maverick for sure. Phils quick tune products for the Maverick and Wildcat make them easier than Impacts and more power potential- no tools, only dial a pressure and dial the one HS to the desired speed for any pellet weights that the hammer weight will allow.

Congratulations to Paul Cray for his performance at the Finger Lakes GP!

Excellent shooting Paul be careful not to Peak too early for we want you to win the Worlds again in AZ in November. Been about 18 years since your last title and I wish you the best! Hope to see you in Rockville, Ct this weekend.

Would also Love to see how some of the other classes faired. We are seeing much less match reports on here then we use to. More clubs are using their own club websites to display their match results but still advertise their events on the main FT Forums (Airgun Warriors and Nation)
Be great to catch up!! Yeah seems most clubs use social media for match reports etc. I know I do. I don't do these forums anymore....too many keyboard warriors.

Buying an Expensive Airgun, with Interest-Free Credit ...... Credova ?

Hi!
Original poster here!
My original post was simply asking for details, (good or bad), about Credova's interest free loan offer.
Somehow this developed into a conversation about everything OTHER than Credova, but thats ok, and thats how internet forums often operate!
To conclude my original posting:

Im in the market for a $2500 airgun.
I have several options including:
1. Deduct $2500 from my savings, pay it in full, and be done with it, but loose out on unearned interest.
OR
2. Leave my money alone, continue earning a very slight amount of interest on it, use Credova's intrest free offer, absolutely free of charge, as long as I oblige by their very simple requirements.

I have decided that Credovas offer is a good offer, as long as its paid back in a timely mannor, but certainly not a great offer.
Key words: "as long as its paid back in a timely mannor".

So nothing new here, and it sounds like there are no pros or cons about useing Credova, other than what was already obvious.

There would probably be no huge jump in my already good credit score after the loan is paid in full.
There would probably be no future loan offer, that would be more benefitial...
The savings by useing their offer, only equates to aproximately 1 tin of pellets, in unearned interest.

So basically, by purchaseing a $2500 airgun, and useing my own money and paying it off in full at time of purchase, equates to basically loseeing out on a tin of free pellets, in lost interest that I would have otherwise earned.
Not even worth the hassle, to take advantage of their free financing offer. The penalty, should a late repayment occur, far outweighs its advantages.

Thanks for everyones input.
So it's best not to go into debt for something like an airgun, but there is a more financially responsible way of doing it than racking up debt on your credit cards or something like Credova where they gouge you if you fall behind. If you have a 401K and you have been enrolled in it long enough it is a very easy process to take out a loan against it. The company that runs your 401k will typically include a link on their page to the loan info.

Here's the good part about taking out a 401K loan. You pay the interest on the loan back to your own 401K account. So when you've paid it back you'll have more retirement money than when you started. If you're going to pay interest on something, then pay it to yourself.

One suppressor for 2 barrels

I ordered the 30 cal Yokozuna the folks at Donny’s said it was ok to use the 30 cal on a 25 barrel . On my 30 cal barrel they fold me I better off with my 30 cal Ronin as it has a larger aperture hole in it. I prob have at least 8 moderators in mt parts box I’m sure I’ll find a solution that works

AirMaks Arms  Airmaks Karan

If you want to stay in the Airmaks family, I use a Krait L in .25 and it is great for small to medium game. .25 is really a good all around caliber for hunting as the ammo doesn't cost as much as the larger calibers and it can carry a bit more punch than a .22. You can get .22s with as much fpe as most .25s though so don't dismiss it for hunting altogether.
Hi .. what does your krait L .25 likes there is nothing anywhere about the .25 .. I have one in .22 best money I have spend lately..

Gamo  Gamo Arrow probe O Ring

No my friend have no idea of the size on the O-rings, he bought the bag from a seller here just listed as Gamo Arrow pin probe O-rings.
And that in itself was hard CUZ not much to find in Denmark in the way of parts for most airguns, i mean just take my AUTH FX seller it took him 4 months to get and replace a cocking handle on my Maverick.

That say a bit about how some / many things work here.

norconia 3-9x40

Well, I would guess that it's either the scope mounts are damaged, or the scope itself is defective, or the barrel is bent to the left. Inspect the scope rings and if there is any damage to them or to the dovetail mount. Try a different set of rings. Try this scope on another rifle or a different scope (that works) on this one. Visually inspect the barrel and its bore if you can see that it's bent. Use a boresighter to confirm POI and scope alignment. Many things can be wrong, need debugging.

Other  Fx arrow kit

Pyramid had the arrow kit on sale for $100 so didn't think it would be too bad to test out. I also have alot of old swaged 2219s I could use. Wonder if they'd hold up with a glue on for turkey.
The Easton 2219 s are tough and heavy... Should be plenty for Turkey's or elk or anything else

If you haven't already, maybe try Rick at Precision Pellet. If he doesn't have one, he might be able to make you one:

Grace USA Pin Punches (Review)

I've a Wheeler gunsmith tool kit, I was planning on reviewing that too at some point. Great stuff, the screwdriver bits are made for guns, the way they're ground for fitment, blades of various width and thickness; typical hardware store or mechanic's screwdrivers aren't really suitable for guns.
That's how I started with Wheeler, I originally was working on firearms and most of my tools are from that time. And actually still do. Then I moved to airguns and continued to use the same tools that I use for firearms. Work great on both :).
