Well, not too sure about that one either and have not ever heard that. It's a bit hard to find .22 & .20 pellets that are the same weight and that's what needs to be done to make such a comparison as well as bore fit. Too loose or too tight will make huge differences. I don't have a single gun that shoots across the board slower with .20 than they do with .22's. In fact, exactly opposite regardless of length of pellet it's weight that has the much greater effect.

P.S. Just measured, .20- .244'' .22- .256 both are H&N FTT pellets, Kodiak .20= .312 .22= .339 which are longer?

Went for the Bull, 2 shots 53 meter. Very pleased with this rifle, and it is looking brand new now. Switched the Hawke prism with a 4x Sun Optics. Better for short distances.
Conclusion: A good buy, even if the wood wasn’t the best

Rats population has definitely decreased at this farm as I only saw and tagged six this evening.

However, I had my most memorable shot at a rat where it was moving across the concrete blocks from its hiding spot to the feeder. I had to time my shot as it climbed across like a spider-rat. My other shot was at a rock 93.5 yards away. Ya, my HW100T was perfect.

I got the Cole tac Backbone frame and flat bag for a birthday gift. I was able to get it out for a shooting session and it's solid but not heavy I used it on some obstacles, and as a palm rest/hamster for off hand shots. Real sold product, and with the other shooting bags available it will be a welcome accessory.

Dreamline Classic is still available on Utah Air Guns.

I think it cost me just over $100 plus shipping at the time. Plus you could get a light weight hammer, matching valve/hammer springs and a regulator to really juice up your gun. I have a question on the eye relief on the Notos...BTW I did get the 380mm barrel & FX liner on & plenum extension - so far noticeable improvement! I get the buck rail suppressor today - it was a bit noisy for the back yard without one lol. - The eye relief- -So, the scope in my pic, I wound up having to use a second pic rail as a riser to A) elevate a little since the line of sight was pretty low for me when on the Notos rail...Second, I had to shift things further down he barrel or 15rd MPC mags wouldn't fit in the breach. So it kind of cantilevers as close as i could get to my eye - but is still too far for comfort...If I shorten the stock I get a good picture, but it doesn't feel as stable as I'd like - if I extend the stock full length I really have to strain my neck to see a full FOV.
Has anyone experienced the same thing? I eventually would like to go with a prism scope to suit my interest in quicker aim + magnification for the longer range target practice shots, but I read those also have a short eye relief which I'd assume would need to be right over the breach to have full FOV. What's the fix for this? I don't want to buy another scope for a little bit so hoping to get some insight as to setups that help alleviate that problem.

I worked a deal out with the barrel maker to ship this outa spec .177 back to me & they start a new barrel that will be supposedly .2200 x .2150 w/ 16 twist @ 28" in SS
My thought is to try a lap a choke in the .177 barrel. Since it's already to tight I could lap maybe 2/3 of barrel from breech end then test & repeat all in small increments. Might not work at all but what the heck anyway, can't hurt what's already broken

They can be tough little buggers. This one took a .25 to the noggin.

What you need is a laser sight. Mount it as close as possible to the bore and you can use it as both a close range sight and a range finder.

I live in a sort of rural area but close enough to a few cities. I've been eating squirrels out of my yard for years. I always just check for abseses or other things that look weird like spotty livers etc. Make sure they are well done and you should be fine!

I machined a taper from 4mm to 7mm to install some o-rings on a GK1 probe. The original o-rings are NBR80, but they are hard to find, so I used NBR90 o-rings. The 90's are a bear to stretch, even with the taper. NBR70 isn't recommended for GK1 probes, at least according to Parker O-rings, due to extrusion under pressure and gap.

Do you mean your pellet drop is 6”? I would think that you could increase reg pressure to pick up FPS to roughly 890fps, which would decrease your pellet drop.

Congrats on the new HW97, and your good shooting. I would slightly modify the old saying to state, perfect practice makes improved results. Otherwise, the old definition of stupidity kicks in, "doing the same thing over and over and expecting better results." The benefit of a good coach helps prevent the latter.
