I actually had a r10 in 20 cal it wasn't even close to 900 fps...the 20 cal pellets are longer than a 22 making them Slower out of the same guns.
there's just something about cheap and 4500 psi that don't mix well to me.There are many bottle guns on the market with Chinese bottles on them. I haven’t had a problem with mine. If you’re going to fill it yourself, I don’t see a problem with the Tuxing bottle. I’m sure many on here would disagree though. It’s just whatever you feel comfortable with.
Looks like a fun time , specially the two FWB300 shooters , my kind of shooting . But 8.5 hours drive from me .The Midwest Airgunners matches are usually held on the first Saturday of each month at the Fort Osage Muzzle Loaders Range, 1637 NW 550th Rd, Kingsville, MO. http://mocobps.com/FOML.htm View our Web Site for match information - http://sites.google.com/view/midwestairgunners
Shelleen posting for Brink
Good weather for our October match. Wind was around 6 mph and the temperatures in the low 70s. Brink put on another good match and everyone had a good time.

Thank you, I have an email in to Tim Hill about the barrel.I would try Rich @Airgunrevisions. Or Tim Hill Airguns. I got a Benjamin Lothar Walther .177 barrel from him a few years ago for my Marauder. I think it cost me just over $100 plus shipping at the time. Plus you could get a light weight hammer, matching valve/hammer springs and a regulator to really juice up your gun. I get 90+ shots at 18.5 fpe out of my Marauder.
None . get a PB .What is the best air pistol with power to carry for self defence.
What you need is a laser sight. Mount it as close as possible to the bore and you can use it as both a close range sight and a range finder.I bought the akela in 177 from airgun revisions. With crosman premier hollow points it shoots nickel size groups at 30 yards. The challenge for me with the bullpup is since the scope is so high the point of impact varies pretty significantly between 10 yards and 40 yards. She's very accurate off the bench with cheap pellets. But in the woods on a Target as small as squirrel head it may require some quick hold over or hold under compensation.
Where as my 22 Marauder is pretty much dead on a squirrel brain from 10 yards to 40.
I live in a sort of rural area but close enough to a few cities. I've been eating squirrels out of my yard for years. I always just check for abseses or other things that look weird like spotty livers etc. Make sure they are well done and you should be fine!Where I live, squirrels are a nuisance and there’s no season on them. Shot quite a few and never did anything wit them.
My thoughts are that living in the city, I have no idea what they may have gotten into or eaten, and therefore I haven’t thought eating them to be a good idea.
Any other city people eat any squirrels they shoot?
@WobblyHandI think Captain O-rings has glass filled nylon tools and maybe some brass ones. Witches hat expanders are great as well. Wished I had thought about using a plastic tip.
I machined a taper from 4mm to 7mm to install some o-rings on a GK1 probe. The original o-rings are NBR80, but they are hard to find, so I used NBR90 o-rings. The 90's are a bear to stretch, even with the taper. NBR70 isn't recommended for GK1 probes, at least according to Parker O-rings, due to extrusion under pressure and gap.
Do you mean your pellet drop is 6”? I would think that you could increase reg pressure to pick up FPS to roughly 890fps, which would decrease your pellet drop.I am shooting a Daystate Wolverine 25 cal using a 39 g pellet at 839 ft/sec. My holdover at 70 yards is 6”. Does this seem normal or excessive?
