Great improvised sling. That is what I find so hard to do with my tactical style bottle guns, darn hard to comfortably carry in the field.

TWO? that's good both working , I am sure there pretty easy to work on but I hate chasing leaks , So I am just sending back to Pyramyd . Never had a new gun leak in my many years in the PCP sport, Always a first time I guess , . The Carm magazines look a lot better than the OEM ones and he said he is working on a higher capacity one,

Made a post a few days ago. After watching some videos and doing more research. I think I've narrowed it down to 2. Donnyfl yokozuna and or huma-air mod30-3/0 < the old model not avalanche.
Going on a air venturi avenge-x .25cal.
Will be shooting pellets and slugs obviously will have to tune for both . I know on the donnys you go up a size up.

I did read up onsome moderators using the same size as the caliber cause clipping when running slugs is my only worry about the mod30. i Watched Steve with AEAC youtube tuning guide run the yokozuna pretty flawless with both slugs and pellets.
The yokozuna is onsale atm for 157$ shipped .
Mod30 found for 117 shipped.

Yeah, we had Markforged on-site a few years ago to demo their parts. The technology was impressive, but at the time, the material was quite expensive, and the printing process was relatively slow. Im curious if they now offer printing services with that machine.. it could be worth exploring since the gears are small and likely more affordable. I appreciate you bringing this back to my attention. I wanted to make the hammer spring tool work, but I’ve been tied up with other designs, and this time of year is especially busy. I really don’t want to send them out if they aren’t 100%. I will see what I can find regarding printing them with continuous fiber. That’s a good thought!

I think I just discovered that this tank is beyond its 15yr life but the friend who gave it to me is looking for one with a little more life left. Still interested in what fill valve to use.

I love shooting my PCPs, but they definitely take a back seat to my daily reality. Just a hobby for me… @rangur1, be well and as others have stated… “count your blessings”…

Interesting results . I'm a big fan of the ARH plinkers kit, and have had one in my .177 hw50s for a couple of years. From the factory, it shot JSB 8.4s at about 11.5fpe. Dropped in the ARH plinkers kit, a Vortek piston seal and the usual moly lube and the gun delivered 9fpe with the JSB 8.4s. After many thousands of shots, the power has not changed. Much easier cocking effort as you noted, and the shot cycle is a lot more docile. At this power level, my hw50s is more accurate and more enjoyable for extended shooting sessions. Still plenty of power for small game hunting inside of 25 yards. How yours ended up delivering more power is a mystery, but I'm glad you like the outcome.

My refurb. F&T does great with Crosman CPHPs at 830, Hades at 800+or-, most any 18gr pellet at 750/760. I can't seem to get much more out of it with any adjustment , so I get by with it for pesting & target work. Quarry taken never complained about the speed .

I bought one West Hunter once and ran out of elevation very fast while sighting it in, yet the elevation knob kept turning from what I recall. Sent it back to Amazon and never purchased another. For cheap scopes I like Vector Veryrons 3-12x, although I’m not a fan of the 4-16x with illuminated center dot. It’s not cheap. I’ve read good things about the Vector Veyron in 6-24x magnification as well. I also like Primary Arms for budget scopes. Keep in mind I’m not a turret clicker.

Thank you Mike! I really appreciate that. Regardless of finish I was happy with how I shot, and that was my goal. There's a lot more going on at RMAC than the COF. So I was really happy that the prep paid off, that the actual event was run well, and I was in a good place physically to give it a good run.

The competition there is no joke! Outsiders may hear "airgun" and brush it off, but I was legit taken back by the squad lineup. So really congrats to everyone that competed. Many of these guys have cred in the powder burner competition world. I really hope this means the airgun shooters will see some notice in those series now that it's clear we can keep up with "the big boys".

I'm looking forward to next year already

@JimD Thank you. I don’t know if I’d try that shot on a squirrel with a .177. I’ve never shot a PCP in .177, only pneumatic, CO2, and spring-piston airguns. I’d shoot rata and mice like that., but I’d be very hesitant on rabbits and squirrels. If for nothing other than I’m not too familiar with .177 projectiles.

It may happen other way around I have seen the eaglevision in about 2020-21 when they came out with the mount first time.
I don't have it, I cannot dedicate my gopro to a single purpose only replacing the lens that works flawless with my other sports.

Air Ability Has become one of my favorite channels. Well thought out and good delivery.

I don't think I should take it upon myself to describe the proper installation sequence, because I just put the thing together and then figured out how I should have done it.

If you screw the adjustment collar several turns forward of the adjustment marks, you will find the holes for the set screws. The slender pins can be used to tighten the main body on to the black adaptor. The big pins are to tighten the caliber adaptor on the front end of the unit.

The front-end adaptor come in two kinds. one has a male thread to attach a moderator. The other kind doesn't. I have the second kind, but Eagle Vision sells a package of adaptors in four calibers for 25 Pounds.

I wonder if the barrel tuner could be used to measure the wavelength of the barrel vibration.

Man I'm shooting off the high port, reg is about 1500 psi And mine likes air arms 10.3. I'm only shooting about 18 1/2 foot pounds

I was in the store only 2-3 times, but what I have seen they are fairly busy.... airguns, guns, archery, fishing on the shelfs and always several customers to serve or answer.
In my office business world I have learned, single question in a single email, cannot expect the other side have enough time or dedicated attention to read through long txt, especially if the content is fragmented.
Give them some time, they are great in my view.
