I have to agree, I didn't see any airgun related sales worth buying.

Its a dnt zulus 3-12 Not a good example though because of lighting and it is cropped. it looks much better in person.@Devink I forgot to ask, which digital scope are you using in the video?
My previous post was spot on about using the Athlon 6-24x56 FFP on top of my TM1000 HFT pistoli! At 12x the reticle was just too fine to be useful in dark lanes against dark targets, even with illumination. This was objectively proven by my overall reduction in KZ hits. I went from 68% to 35%. Scope selection, especially for pistol HFT is critical!View attachment 590239So I’m off to Burlington NC for the 5-7 Grand Prix this weekend.
thought I’d share this:
For the HFT pistol match My TM1000 in .20 will be wearing the Athlon Heras SPR 6-24x56 FFP because it is too late in the game to swap over to a far better 12X reticle choice for pistol HFT.
When I return I’ll swap scopes and use the Athlon Ares Gen3 UHD 3-18x50; because at 12x the reticle is still nice and seeable and better than the Heras 6-24x56 at 12X or the Athlon Helos BTR Gen2, 2-12x42 or the Athlon Ares UHD 2.5-15x50; all options I’ve been staring through lately, while trying to make up my mind.
The Helos 2-12x42 is super sweet but my old brain needs more delineation between 0-1 or the trickiest of holdovers, too much guessing; kinda like my S-Tac 4-20x50 MH4 reticle.
Bottom line - the Helos 2-12x42 will end up perched on top of a single stroke pneumatic or a pesting platform as will the Ares 2.5-15x50; both amazing scopes while the Heras SPR 6-24x56 FFP will go back on something I can use at least 16-24x on.
Unfortunately, I set my CS4 up at home that makes it “not so portable”. I I get a tank, I’ll likely need a DOT stamped one.Usually I have both my tank and my gx cs4 compressor
Thanks I just got got 1500 slap slugs 26gr. Got regular set at 135 I’m getting 1025fps average think I’m got to back off a little grouping 2” at 85yrds thanks for the informationIf you have an idea of what projectile you want to use, this is what I was told.
Select the highest fps that you are going to be firing ie...22 cal shooting a 25.39g @950 fps
Once you have the correct speed, bottom out the hammer spring so that it stops firing
adjust up on the hammer spring until the rifle is firing again, then turn the wheel a 1/2 rotation
you are set to go
unless you are using a heavier projectile at a higher speed..no need to retune for lighter pellets
Well, three tall pines in wooded lot next to me are leaning bad but not threatening if they go. No power for three days, 5500w Powermate generator took care of business. North of Tampa so tropical storm force winds only, not hurricane, ten miles inland so no storm surge issues. Still, no fun going thru it, price to pay for living here. Ideal time for hobby runs now till rainy season in Spring, feels good to be on this side of it. WMWorried , hope you had no issues from the storm. I'm with you on the hobby . I'm retired now almost 4 yrs. Most folks thought I'd get some equipment & start my own business ( excavation/grading) after retirement. HA , I've only done one small job knocking an old stone chimney down for a nephew and beefing up his camp driveway w/ rented machines. That kind of "stuff" interferes w/ my shooting / pesting time !
That depends on what rifle you have. For an Impact and Huma pin probe there isnt really any adjustment. There are other brand pin probes that have adjustable pins like the FX version. Or if you have a Wildcat/Maverick you can adjust the cocking assembly a little bit to move the whole probe, but can run into magazine fitment issues.Interesting. How do you set the pin probe length correctly?
Possibly so...haven't even put 100 shots through it yet.Probably get even better after a bunch of lead goes thru it.
No problem Lewis. Here’s a good instructional video:Thank you so much for the detailed pics and explanation! I have a couple of these. So far they are good, but I will be keeping this for when the day comes.
