Tank / Gauge Failure

I think I didn’t tighten it down enough even though I did hand tight / snug.

The first pic what looks like metal is actually frost. Initially I thought it was a hole but when it came to room temp it disappeared so obviously frost build up from leak. O ring definitely blew out.

20 MOA Dovetail to Piccatiny rail

I appreciate the info. Would you happen to have a link to the product?

Interesting? Maybe... I'm still wondering what's up with AN member "Line354" hijacking my original post/photos with no explanation or anything else? HHmmnnn--- I GOT it: Maybe he just liked my post/photos so much, he decided to just "re-post" it?:):unsure:. I feel MUCH better now!
I'm wondering where the poster is addressing your question??? Its a shame but the reality of today is to be leery of people. This has been the case since the beginning of time, but the percentage of people that fall into that category has exponentially increased as the years goes by.

🔴LIGHT Scopes! – Scope Specs Table

Don't you get me started!!
I need to draw the $-line somewhere!! 🤷🏻‍♂️

Matthias

PS: Yeah, but I've looked at them several times already...., just give it time as I fall deeper into the hole. We have now September 12, and before you know it we have March. 👍🏼
Just wondering since you listed Nightforce in the specs table.
I know most March scopes start around $2500 and up but on the used market, they can go for a lot less. Some members here have deep pockets lol. Keep up the good work. That's a lot of research and effort put in to make that list.

FX  Help diagnosing DRS leak

So my DRS has a leak. I'm hoping one of you can help me troubleshoot my problem. I got the rifle and didn't shoot it right away. It held air for a couple months. I loosened the screw on the plenum to bleed the air and retightened it, then unscrewed the end cap and installed a carbon liner. After that, I filled it and put a mag through it to sight it in. I refilled it and noticed it was down about 80 bar a couple days later.

I filled it again and put a balloon on the end of the barrel. That's where the leak is. I assumed I damaged one of the two o rings in/on the end cap. I replaced them tonight even though I didn't see any obvious damage. I put some air in it and it's down about 40 bar a few hours later. It seems to leak down to about 140-150 bar and stop. I'm sure someone smarter than me has some idea or suggestion. So what do you all think?

N/A  Working on springers

I found this TS-70 high moly paste. Would this be good for spring and piston lube? Have been reading that higher moly count is better.
I suspect that would work just fine.

Maccari also sells moly here: https://www.airrifleheadquarters.com/catalog/item/251484/42989.htm

A little goes a long way. The jar of moly I bought from Maccari a decade ago is still about 2/3 full.

FWB  FWB 124d

No. As I said, it came from Robert Law/Air Rifle Headquarters, the first company from West Virginia.
Thank you.
The reason I asked the question is that the two Roberts, Law and Beeman, were intertwined for a period of time. There are ARH catalogs with Beeman's San Anselmo address on them, and then later Robert Law was getting his guns through Beeman's Company.

I keep a chart of FWB 12X guns, and between serial numbers 1016X and 3058X, there appear four guns from ARH that have a Beeman stamp. Three of the guns are Custom ARH120s, and the fourth is a deluxe model in which the owner claimed he purchased new from Air Rifle Headquarters in Grantsville, W.V.

So, as you can see, it doesn't appear to be black and white as to what is or isn't stamped on an ARH gun.

Crosman  crosman 600

I’ll post a pic of it when it arrives.
I’d be relieved if the cam simply fits the shaft without excessive slop.
Cam ring arrived.
First picture is how it arrived ... a black finish with some surface rust.
Second pic is after some cleanup, shallow pits from the rust are more visible now.
No cracks anywhere and no signs of wear, looks serviceable. So far so good.
I'll give it a light coat of oil before tucking it away.

How much air to leave in during shipping?

I think what you guys are recommending is fine for domestic shipments but just in case somebody looks at this who is making an international shipment I would drain it entirely for those. I bought 3 P35s from Krale and they all came completely empty. My 3 domestically shipped guns all came pressurized as you are saying.

Huben  GK1 problem...

I loaded my new GK1. Then, without flipping the "back" lever, i shot it. Now it is jammed
and dumping all air. Bummer, but my fault. Now what??

Thanks in advance

I should stick to my Brococks!!!
Mine was doing the same thing. You need to adjust the cycling screw. On the back of the handle are 2 screws. The one on the right needs to be backed out slightly. My GK-1 hasn't jammed since I made this adjustment, and I find that the tightness of the projectiles no longer matters.

Very slow refill or creep?

A slow refilling regulator shouldn't take beyond 10-15 seconds to stabilize. The user above me linked a great video and I would consider duplicating what you see in it.

-Matt
I guess it is reg creep then. I thought reg creep would be like leaving it over night. The pressure increased within an hour. I will watch the video and see if that's the same issue.
