100 yard shooting - .177 vs .20 cal vs .22

Yes they are.
I could say that I'd be happy keeping pellets in a group the size of a pellet tin, etc.
But I'm really just exploring what can be done. I don't have a standard I'm trying to meet or anything like that.
Sure, I'll be shooting some paper groups too. But mostly I like the challenge of long range springer shooting. It's probably the closest I'll come to golfing.

New guy in Kentucky

Welcome to the best AGN ! Your about 80 miles north of me (Scottsville KY ) The HW97 is a wonderful shooter , you started out with the best !
I have a 97 also i find the H&N 8.44 Field Target trophy shoot very well , but i have never tried anything heavier like the JSB line of pellets . do you have a place to shoot at home ?
Stan in KY.
We were not very far away from you last week when we were at the Corvette museum!

Armadillo vs fx hybrid

I don’t know why but I have a bunch of them, I got 13 last year. I just don’t normally record them or share them. I’ve never considered eating them, I just am tired of them digging holes in my pond levees.
@Cranky1 I was speaking to my aunt and uncle about this yesterday evening. They told me about people in the community that used to eat them. One woman cooked them and served them up at church and people were complementing the "chicken." I guess she didn't tell them what they were eating. I'd considered eating some until I read that they sometimes eat carrion.

New to the group and airguns/first purchase.

I can testify that I am 100% satisfied with my CS4 compressor. I only fill my AT44 and Flashpup directly, so I don't have the hard use experience with it that many do. I live in the country and shoot quite a bit, and I have been exclusively using the CS4 to fill and it has been flawless. Highly recommended!

Sherwood Airgunners Sept.22,2024 Match Report.

Forgot to add the course was a 33.5 Troyer factor before lighting and wind conditions which can vary from shot to shot and lane to lane. Being very subjective these factors are not added in. We had 30 of the 60 targets at 40yds or beyond and 5 of the 20 lanes were set in a open field.
It was a challenging course, small kill zones at far distances. You had better have good dope and accurate ranging!

Old kasnar sniper scope WOW!!!!

So after a long search I landed brand new a kasnar sniper 3-9x40 ao scope.made in Japan in the 80's, I had always heard they were good scopes, and after mounting it, all I can say is WOW! This scope is every bit as clear as my leupold! It focuses down to 5 yards or so, has a nifty mil dot like reticle with lines instead of dots, and the build quality seems very nice! Again I am just blown away with the clarity of the lenses. If anyone had a chance to pick one up ever....DO IT!!
@zrman27500 Pictures man, post pictures. I wanna be wowed too.

Control fracturing slugs

Mannnnn @Ezana4CE , I have not. I got the AAO upgrade kit and have had issues with it so my Texan has been out of commission this season for hunting while I try to get it right. The top hat broken had to get another one from Jeremy, an o-ring went out that I could not find underneath the top hat. My regulator broke and I have still not received that back!

Airforce  NEW Reg/Plenum for Airforce Condor / Talon that lets you use your STOCK VALVE!

There is a new reg / 50cc plenum out from Huben Power that lets you use your factory Airforce valve rather than using their proprietary (and lower flow) valve. The performance increase is amazing compared to their in-house valve at the same pressure. I saw an increase from 865fps / 56fpe to 920fps / 64fpe at the same pressure, with no other changes! That is pretty significant, and now this opens up the option to use any M18 Airforce valve, like the SHO from Talon Tunes. In this video I am just using an old school standard Condor valve.

Epic  Epic Airguns One

Also the scope rail is very far forward
As i understand the scope rail and cheek piece ride on a dove tail so can be positioned where you like, adding the top rail thing i think you can almost put your optics anywhere you like from way out front above the barrel even ( maybe a regular scope with one of those night cameras on the eyepiece, and so you could actually get a comfortable shooting position with a kit like that )

Gamo  CAT trigger

Seems like early were 2mm screw then gamo got wise to the mod and changed to the 2.5mm to hinder the job ..lol.

I just shoot mine as is . I think a guy can buy a whole pack of screws from a rc hobby shop for what that one agd sells for 10$ ..
The Swarm Bone Collector was one of the first adult air rifle I purchased after getting into air guns, I know my way around firearms but air guns were a whole different animal at the time so $10.00 for a quick and simple fix was well worth the investment to me.
Thanks for the reply.

Beeman  Sawed off Vulcan

There I was trying to click the images for alternate views 😁🤣😁🤣😅

Why so much?
Beeman fanboys.
I'd much rather have the regular Vulcan with the optional Beeman deluxe checkered walnut stock. Some of those were very nice walnut.
The Bearcub has a standard mid quality beech Vulcan stock. Vulcan stocks are a little bland.
A good Vulcan normally goes under $300. And For the price I think they're not bad. Accurate.
I bought a mint one from a Guy on GB several years ago for 140.00. And this before GB charged tax.. Rather than ship it to me he asked if I'd meet up at Cabela's on I78, an hour away to do the transaction. I agreed and when I met the gentleman he gave me a Mossberg 20 guage bolt action shotgun as well for free. TBH, I really didn't need the Vulcan but couldn't resist the price. It was the opening bid, I didn't expect to win the auction. And I don't need a bolt action shotgun either!:)

Diana  Diana 75HV Scoped

Hello Tom,
I am replying to your emails regarding my HY-Score 820SM. I just returned home and saw you questions regarding wanting to know the pellet weight my chronograph listing. I used H&N Finale Match Rifle .177 8.18 grain pellets.
I have a cancelled check from David Slade for the work he did on this airgun the HY-Score 820 plus at the same time 2 others a FWB 150 and a FWB 300S, he never sent me an invoice.
David Slade is currently tuning and resealing a Diana 75 for me.

Meazy electronic gauge. 22 to 21?

I have that gauge. i bought it so i could adjust my reg on my Leshiy 2 30 cal. worked great but does shut off fairly quickly. but the shake awake is pretty cool. I took it off after dialing in the reg and put it in the cabinet. Now Im using it on my DRS Pro to set the reg. It seemed a little funky so changed to a fresh battery and all is good again.
my Leshiy 2 3o cal with 250mm barrel is a very awsome truck gun and hell on gophers along the gravel roads here in ND!
