These do take a little tweaking to get working well. I took them apart, used o-ring silicone oil on all parts, reassembled and adjusted the grub pushing down on the pin deeper to the point of almost popping the valve open for the best operation.

Realistic expectations for hand pumps?

Then there are those vintage folks like me who would not be in to the hobby at all if hand pumping were required. Physical exertion and target shooting can both be good things. However not simultaneously. :)
Once upon a time dentists used a foot treadle to run their dental drill, then we got this wonderful stuff commonly called electricity.;)

And had one shooter travel 3 hours one way just to shoot the matches. My 25cal was down so I shot the match with a rifle that was under 20 FPE and was a 177cal and had a 6 inch diameter target with half was black and upper white and had to hit the white to knock the target over and 80yds the 177 knocked it over and another target at 70 yds with 20 + mph Cross wind I aimed 2 inches to the right and down it went and my 2 shooter was our group was totally amazed that I knocked it down !!!

I will be shooting a 33 ftlb .177 (16.2)pellets this month. “FULL MONTY” here I come. Lol here is some of my tuning results. I am not done yet but it is close. The Garmin screen is from 1 fill of 250 bar shot down to 180bar. I think I can get the ES a little better. So if I can do a 72 shot match on 1 fill would be respectful for a bb gun. Lol

I think I may have just ended up with an off sized breech seal. My other P70 done up by AZ shoots 840fps with 10.3 for 16 ftlb and has for its entire life. But you may be right about being just over stressing the design.

FX TBC Discontinued?

I most certainly hope not, I bought myself one as a present from my favorite person to my other most favorite person, ME. Took a bit to get things sorted out, seems weird to have to use a Mac/PC to do the updates then you can only use a Tablet/phone. Learning the interface is taking a bit of time but then I'm not a young techie.

That said, do the BC results seem accurate?

So much fun today shooting in the rain with Joe, Mark, John, and Lou. As usual there was a bit of wind, moving the point of impact up and down. But if you were patient, you could get the shot you wanted. Still not a consistent shooter but appreciate all that you guys have taught me about being a better shooter. I still need a lot more work on the concentration part. Maybe next year.

m3 .25 700m ..barrel tensioner yes or no?

I do use the balancer to bring groups in tighter, and the shroud helps quiet it. If your tune is pretty good now there won't be a need for a retune but you may have to re zero after the poi change. I don't have a ton of pictures but basically make the hole in the back of the shroud big enough to go over the tensioner with an oring or 2 in it. You need a lathe or somebody who has one.
