Everyone’s situation is different but I would never zero an air rifle at 100 because to me that is close to the outer limits of their range. Just my opinion and I know people kill things out 100’s of yards with airguns. That will just never be me. Zero at 50 know your hold over or dial up to 100. Much beyond that things that go bang are just far superior.
That's pretty much what I have always done as well. Just was curious what others were doing with this rifle and it's capabilities. And true, most of my kill shots have been 80 yards or less. Knowing my hold-over from 50 has worked for me in the past. Especially with doing a lot of hiking and brush hunting, many shots are on the fly are far as figuring distance, etc. You are probably right, I should stick with what I know works for me. I appreciate the input.

RTI  UNVEILING THE SECRETS BEHIND THE RTI PROPHET'S ACCURACY WITH FX LINER!

What are the essential elements for maximizing accuracy with an airgun? Let's explore the key factors that can help you hit your mark like a pro!The precision and effectiveness of an airgun hinge on several key factors that must work in perfect harmony. From the barrel and rifling to controlling the vibrations due to the firing mechanism or designing a specific projectile for the targeted setup.Approximately two and a half years ago, the SKK tuning team embarked on a mission to attain the highest level of accuracy in airgun precision shooting. This initiative involved the design, development, and manufacturing of specialized components. To achieve this objective, numerous ideas and approaches have been explored throughout this process. The team is now prepared to share their journey and unveil some of the innovations and insights they have discovered along the way.

HW30 / R7 stripped grub screw question.

Big thanks to members, Max trouble,Beerthief,Devils Luck and Hateful McNasty for taking the time to help me out.
Max trouble, I did check out TC Chambers but they didn’t have a part number for that little grab screw so sent them a text asking about it but no reply .
Devels Luck, I think McMaster Carr is in the United States,. I live in Nova Scotia Canada but we have all kinds of hardware stores here so I might have found it. However it’s jammed back in the block and I was afraid to take it out without having one to replace it
Hateful McNasty, really appreciate the visual you included. I would’ve done the same thing but wasn’t sure how to put a photo on here. Also I did manage to get the screw back in but it wasn’t pretty. That screw will not be going back in again. I just hope I didn’t hurt to threads in the block so I’m reluctant to take the whole thing apart again if I can’t find that screw. Also the link that you sent me , the Ottawa Shooting Supply was perfect, like finding a needle in a haystack for me. I would’ve never found It.
Thanks again,
Al

High FPS in 177 & not 22

What I’ve experienced in the last maybe four years has me done with painting them with a broad brush. Last year I was experimenting with a .25 FX pellet shooter for squirrel. Things were fine at 50 but horrible at 75 yards. Sped the gun up to slug speed and bingo, wound up with a 100 yard non 33.95 pellet gun for the season.

Thanks. 👍🏼

That's what I was looking for! Firewalker you found it, I knew I'd seen them but couldn't find them now for the life of me. Much appreciated, I don't know if the dimensions are the same but I can figure that out with the ebay seller. Which I wouldn't have found without community help. Thank you very much.

bottle upgrade basics

My neighbor keeps asking when I'm putting the turret up on the roof.
I told him "when I buy the automatic"
Engineering a firing system for either auto or semiauto would not be all that difficult.
Probably could do it with 3 or 4 nema stepper motors and controls.
Print the linkages for the trigger.
Tying a vision system back to the stepper motor controls, Raspberry Pi and some custom code would probably work.
Reolink already does it with their security cameras so the tracking software exists.

But I'd want a belt feed for the rifle, changing mags on the roof would be a pain.
Don't laugh ! when i was working at a chain and transmission job , we were called out to a guys house (Chicago area ) . He wanted roller skate wheels so he could easily turn a turret on top of his house . we sold him 1000 roller skate wheels . when the deal was done and paid for we called the police as he had (EST.) more than 5 hundred guns loaded and sitting within easy reach everywhere we saw . Scary ! Metal shutters on all windows with gun slots cut in them .

Resources  What color are your targets

Yes ... the lane I sat there eye in scope waiting for my eye to dilate to actually see the KZ hole. 1st shot good ... keep eye in scope and load a second by feel as taking eye off scope you would never see KZ again in time allotted
Imagine looking through a $1700 plus scope at 2 pm and the only thing visible is a slight bit of chrome from a target clamp…… 🤬
