Flow restrictor question?

A check valve like that will save wear and tear on your compressor if installed on the input of your air filter. Makes it easy and efficient to allow the compressor to stop and cool down when filling tanks. WIth a check valve on the filter input the filter can retain the high pressure, basically you are only bleeding the high pressure hose between the pump and the filter. A big filter holds a lot of air, relatively.

FX  fx crown .22 500mm normal reg pressure

Hi,
My Crown Mk II with a 500mm .22 barrel shoots the 18.1 gr pellets great! My settings for an Ave MV of 868 fps with 2.3 SD and 8 ES are:
- Reg pressure to 117 bar
- Internal Hammer Spring (IHS) adjuster sticking out of the carrier by 4 mm
- Transfer Port Wheel to Medium
- Power Wheel to 15

I should note that I have the FX Crown Slug Power Kit - but only use the new spring carrier so that I could put the 13.2 g hammer weight (Part #17003) in. I still use the pellet probe but am using the barrel with the slug (bigger port) port down.

Cheers,
Greg

Parallax Wheel

New to HFT and want to buy a parallax wheel for my Hawke 30 Airmax 30 6-24x to mount on my Daystate Revere. Is the JD Customdesigns 9” bullet design a good choice or are there better options? I am using a Rowan single shot loader on the rifle. id appreciate your suggestions. Thanks, Tom
I may have a wheel that will work
Pm me with your scopes parallax knob diameter in mm

New Gun, First Shots, Rookie Airgunner

My first adult rifle was an HW 97 .20 cal. I think you will really enjoy it as I did mine. I loved it and my first impressions were similar. After 15 years I sold it. It was getting too heavy and hard to cock for leisurely shooting. I initaly bought it for pesting, but once I entered the PCP world many of those heavy rifle got sold. Hold, hold, hold sensitivity is everything with this airgun. Resting the gun the same way regardless if it is from a bag or your palm is crucial.

Seneca/Sam Yang  357 Recluse My Take

Sorry I may have misspoke, I was thinking it was like the Career, Savers and Sumatras. I checked on my Shin Sung Fire, which is the predecessor to your Recluse. If it's like my Fire I used a 7/8 flatbar to unscrew the stock thru the buttpad from the action and then you can get access to the the receiver and remove the trigger unit. I took photos of on my old phone, I'll have a look this weekend and post pics.

FX  FX AMP regulator question

My journey is similar, about 3 years with my Maverick. Tried to do it with cheap, then really good break barrels but found these to be quite tough to shoot accurately. Hold, pellet choice, many variables. Enter the PCP era! Cheaper first (Avenger) then FX.
Well I started off with a break barrel, cheap, turned out the barrel was bent so I straightened it, have it shooting fairly well but not at the distance I needed, 50 to 125 yards, so, a Sapsan, that was better but had some issues, then a Maverick VP, the usual FX quality control issues, fixed it, then a pre destroyed Maverick that I turned into a .22 compact, let's call it a learning experience. I finally have my Mavericks working fine, my Sapsan is as good as it's going to get. Have a Raptor works well except for a darn leak I can't find, not fast so when shooting it, so it doesn't matter. Also have a Tequila Pistol, another learning curve, mostly my fault of being brain dead, it's pretty darn accurate at 25 yards, more accurate than I am. Oh and an OLD Daisy 717 that just shoots, need to fix the sights on it. Did a trigger job on it a long time ago, a sweet shooter.
