GX-E-5K1

@Ta-Ta Toothie Is this compressor still doing well. I see on gx it is back in stock at 999 plus 10% off with their code. Seems a great option for 900 bucks.
I thought you were talking about the 5K2 and I was going to cry😂. Paid 2500 for mine, then they dropped them to like 1700......

Huben  Huben GK1 .177 most accurate pellets?

Let me ask this, How do the pellet's fit in the GKI 177, I am sure the 8gr are going to be loose , But how about the 10 and 13 gr pellets Any problem jamming. Do you have to seat each and every pellet??? My GKl 25 pellets H&N and the GTO fit so tight my thumb gets sore pushing in 50 to 80 pellets ,,,
Mike
So far the JSB EXACT 16.20 shooting the best in my .177

Western Airguns  Mordax

I like it, but the air cylinder, plenum, and barrel length needs to be sized up just a bit so it isn't directly competing with the GK1, and this will give it a full magazine worth of high power shots instead of just a portion of them.
One thing I really like about the Mordax over the other siblings (Sidewinder regular and compact) is that it moves the action out forward of the shooters head. I have the regular Sidewinder, and the thing I dislike about it is that the action is so loud with my head sitting right on it - I also have a Huben K1 and although similar, it is much quieter in this regard. The Sidewinder is just not a pleasant gun for me to shoot, when compared to others.

It would be cool to see a Mordax action and trigger set up paired with the bottle set up from one of the others. The length would kind of negate the value of the folding stock, so that could be fixed for what I am thinking of. That would be a much more pleasant gun to shoot than the Sidewinder, and obviously add more shots and power too.

N/A  Bad things about Cometa

I did my best with the trigger this afternoon. I hosed it out with solvent and took out the trigger blade. Nothing in there that looked worn or rough. I got some nanoparticles on everything and adjusted it the best I could.

I fine tuned it between shots with the adjustment screw and got it working dandy.

It's actually pretty sweet. It breaks nice. Maybe not crisp but no lumps at all. About a 1# pull. If you take up the first stage and release it, you have a light single stage trigger. You don't get a second stage wall back. It's just a smooth (long) single stage release. It's not bad at all. You just have to remember the wall is not there or you will pull through a shot.

I put another 350 shots through it tonight. I purposely released the trigger and pulled it again many times. It's actually silky smooth. Just no second stage wall. The fine adjustment was the key. It just needs to be set perfectly and things work great. If you back the screw out too far things are lumpy and "roll over" when it breaks. A little too far in and it goes off before you feel your second stage. There is about a half turn on that screw between too much and not enough. Once I hit that spot all my problems disappeared and I had a really nice trigger release.

EDgun  EDgun Leshiy 2 releasing mechanism for the folding stock versus rail ... aftermarket fix?

I similarly use cantilevered rail extenders for my scopes that have trouble mounting close-enough to my eye.

I think I only had to do it for two of my scopes, the "no eye relief" prismatic scope and the Sightmark Wraith Mini. Everything else I have either has a built-in cantilevered mount (like my thermal) or they're fine being mounted further up. For the Wraith Mini it was kind of borderline -- I don't really need the rail extender, but it makes it far more comfortable for my neck.

My preference is the ADM rail extenders as they're quick-release. So if your scope doesn't have a quick-release on it, at least the rail extender gives you that option. They also pretty reliably find zero on re-mounts. I haven't tried every variety of rail extenders, but ADM is high quality and gives you quick release, as well as making mounts compatible with a wide variety of scope bases.

GX CS4 water seperator

I have the same setup. I only use that filter when filling air tanks. If I am filling an airgun, I would just connect it directly. I think the description states it has a built in oil and water separator but who knows how good it is.
Decent. It's got charcoal and molecular seives and some felt pads. It's kind of a "Lego part" for chinese air filtration. The purple filter and even my big tuxing compressor use exactly the same acrylic tube filter insert. Condensing water before the filter helps it last a LOT longer.

Fx drs oring failures anyone?

Well a good days work and a few cuss words and the drs is back to holding air and shooting .. I found several other orings that you could delaminate using fingernail .. I’m guessing I just had a bad batch of rings on this gun . Went on to the tube 100yard range and shot a .565” 5 shot group using griffin boat tail slugs .. she’s back but when will I need to go down this road again .. hopefully next year at the soonest

Just tried AEA, 66gr pellets in my Boss

Yeah Dave, .30 cal. Such a great shooting gun. The Huma HP reg I installed last summer (set at 160 bar) has been amazing. I couldn't shoot Hades in it before with the OEM reg even though they're the same weight as the 44.75 diabolos. Just not enough oomph. NOW it's pushing 66 grains with MOSH (minute of squirrel head) @ 50 yards! Next time out I'll see what it does at 75 & 100 & how much holdover is needed.
Cool. You should be about 725 fps with 77 fpe. Should be good at 50 yards, but drop at 100 will be much more than the .30 pellets you normally shoot. About 7 inches more holdover than you currently use. About 2 Mil.

Huben  GK1 took out 3

Oh my, spirits too? We may need an exorcist! Or maybe it was too much baby food cooked in aluminium pots. It is dangerous you know? Perhaps the country of Kalifornia has declared those terrible pots and pans to cause reproductive health. Lord knows it has messed up the minds of their government. Next it will be hazardous to shoot air guns. But wait, it already is! We are certainly dooooomed as airgun enthusiasts. Dito.

I gave up hope when I learned the California surgeon General informed me the split shot sinkers I've been biting onto leaders since age 5 were known to cause cancer. Permanently in the moment... It's been 34years...any minute now.

EDgun  Edgun Leshiy 2 .22

I have the Edgun Leshiy 2 in .22, finding a 22 caliber magazines is nearly impossible. I purchased one that is 5.5s, for slugs. Do I need to do anything to the gun to shoot slugs through it?
Nope - just choose the slugs that fit the mag. If they’re like my .30 slug mags (.300), they will shoot .220 slugs. Take a look at thepelletshop.com.

N/A  anyone have leads on US vendors carrying huggett snipe?

I’ll keep an eye out. I’m looking for a little atom myself. Kick in the ol nuts atoms are only like $70 in the UK. Someone posted a bunch of huggets in one of the classifieds a month or so ago. They had quite a few brand new ones. I think it was on American Airguns. That place with a bunch of scammers

Good luck on your search
Rob
