What happened to the JSB Knockout 20.83 Slugs???

I have found that Utah Airguns and Talon Tunes, both, have a confusing menu system where they show a tin of the brand that you are looking for but you don't see the actual size. The drop down selection menu does list it correctly. I use this same slug, it's awesome, and I have bought them from both dealers. UA right now is probably too busy to update their online store, I'd call them, or Tony.

Congratulations to Gerhard Slabbert for winning in both classes at WRABF in Finland!

Well done Gerhard.. Really happy for you! Also enjoy your videos. Been on board with you since the beginning when you were getting criticized for shooting pigeons and birds off electrical wires.. My how you have grown / improved..

What is the best pellets and slugs for mk2 impact 700mm barrel?

One of the most accurate I've ran in my FX Impact .25 700mm was the Nielsen 33.5g flat base at 950. Mine has the slug power kit and a superior heavy slug liner. I now run a 46g H&N heavy at 925fps. It is still very accurate but hits as hard as just about anything will in this platform.

Umarex  Notos not feeding

Did you get your problem figured out? I'm new to all this need to get my 10 post or whatever in it's been past the 10 days....but I do have a question for you where did you get your liner? This is my first PCP mod got some stuff from C88 aclways shot a springer...never going back lol. Anyway thanks and have a great weekend!
I bought the kit separately because together is like 350.
Fx liner from Utah airguns https://utahairguns.com/product/fx-stx-superior-liner/
And the barrel kit from c88
Just for reference the whole kit:

Yeah you get the rings for harmonic dampening but its really not a difference, my notos shoots to 100 yards easy, I have also upgraded the brass valve and have a plenum so that all helps out

Also check out buckrail, for 3d printed items.

FX  I finally got into fx airguns

I have a .22/700mm FX Impact MK2 and shot it in factory stock configuration with excellent performance for quite a while.

Still shooting without mods but I've been having a lot of fun tuning for different projectiles.

Suggest that if your Impact is shooting well, leave well enough alone for now and just enjoy the PCP.

Later, if you're so inclined, there's all kinds of mods and embellishments you can do.

Cheers!
That's what ill do.
Thanks

Rangefinder

I do have the element range finding module on my air rifle. I like to shoot ground squirrels at long distances. And using the range finding module. Once it is set up properly helps to eliminate errors by using a normal range finder.. Mine is set up on a parallel plane with the rifle scopes zeroed at 50 yd. So when I use the range finder my rifle scope is pulled back down to the 0 mark. And I put that at the base of the target and touch the button to get the read out.

We need to save California!

All you haters of California ... yes do stay away !!! and if you live here and feel this way ... yes PLEASE leave !!!
There is a difference between simply hating something and hating what it has become. And, for what it's worth..yes..I am a CA native.

HYPER VELOCITY NOTOS... DEVASTATING EFFECTS ON DOVE! Slow motion vid

When you said "devastating" I was expecting feathers flying & a loud SCHWACK upon impact. I see a good kill but I wouldn't call it devastating. Maybe my bar is set too high (for a truly devastating impact). Good shooting anyway.
Let me know if this one is a little better effects. . We aim to please.

For such a slow moving pellet the impact still surprises me :)

Custom slugs

I have been 3d printing tins that have Corbin .218 xxxxgr. This way I can keep them organized and know what I have and where.

As long as you have them documented somewhere on what they are ... name them what you want!

If you make one for gun 1 ....... gun 1 bunny buster, or gun 1 bunny slapper. Something like this is where my mind goes

Whittled a new one piece wood rest for my buddy

Thanks Perry,

I don't think either one has an advantage over the other one. I had two solid weeks building two of these out of wood and afterwards I said never again. Life is too short. The aluminum ones are a $$$ bargain compared to the time I have in these two wooden ones. I laminated several layers of 1/4" bathroom floor underlayment plywood for the two long plates, which uses water proof glue and fiber, so these should hold up for a long time.

The front end is machined of Phenolite which I salvaged from the dumpster of a large tool and die shop. That stuff is hard, heavy, durable and expensive. I wanted to use another material other than wood but hind sight tells me the laminated wood underlayment would have worked equally. The front end isn't as easy to adjust vertically as a rest with a threaded post and mariner wheel but since mine is dedicated to one gun quick adjustment isn't an issue.

If I would have had a heavy knee mill, capable of machining aluminum, I probably would have gone down that road. But since I don't then wood was my only option given the tools that I do have.

N/A  i have been in the Chaser rabbit hole for a very long and found some new grips

i have been down the Chaser rabbit hole

My late brother sometimes kept some rather 'colorful' friends. Example- After Kim's pit-bull (Rambo) bit off the last joint of his buddy Buzzard's index finger as Buzzard stuck it in Rambo's face while snarling "He don't look so tough to me", Buzzard simply HAD to have Rambo. Kim agreed it was a match made... albeit not necessarily in heaven.

Another example of Kim's friends, that relates to your quote above- Another of Kim's buddies had a tattoo on his butt-cheek of a rabbit diving down a hole. Three guesses which hole.

FYI- I did see Buzzard's severed finger. I did not see aforementioned tattoo; happy to take Kim's word for that. :ROFLMAO:

HW/Weihrauch  "New" limited edition HW50

The red one took a while to sell out for the US buyer (AoA & Krale). From memory, several months. That one was 600 units at $600. This one will be 1000 units at ~650.

I think it will be available for some time.
Possibly. The red might not have been as universally appealing as blue. If they sit on them a while, maybe the price will come down? That's happened on other special edition models.

Crosman  Best mods to make 1322 quieter and easier to pump?

I'd really consider a CO2 gun for someone who has physical limitations and shoots infrequently. there are a ton of options out there

But if you want him to get the 1322 it would be super simple to improve on the fore stock. There's a vendor on ebay (toymaker95) that makes beefier stocks which might help a bit along w a lot of other cool stuff. He has ring stocks as well which would be way easier to pull than the standard slippery plastic furniture. If nothing else you could fabricate your own like beerthief suggest.

I don't have the 1377/22 series guns (yet), but the pumpers that I do own are extremely quiet. Especially in comparison to a PCP.

That said I really enjoy my pumpers. I have a couple Sheridans and have 2 "vintage" 1377s due to arrive tomorrow. So stoked. I wouldn't discourage you on the purchase.
