I don't recognize what StyleFree uses but EdinGA came up with an idea for a bipod mount I used before I made my custom stocks. He used a 34mm scope accessory ring to add a picatinny. I had to sand a groove in the ring so it would fit into the limited space between the air tube and the shroud but that only took a few minutes. I also had to add a few layers of tape to the inside of the ring so it fit the air tube. The resulting picatinny rail is nice and solid. The groove for clearance doesn't really show. You have to be careful to get it oriented right to avoid introducing cant.
It’s not super fine for me; Bushnell’s MOA Deploy reticle is finer.@Elgreco I am considering this scope for my Taipan .25 compact for squirrel/rabbit/(maybe one day iguana?) hunting. From your pictures, it looks like the reticle isn't extremely fine, which is what I am looking for: want a reticle I can pick out easily, since it won't be used at particularly long ranges.
Is that your experience, is the reticle pretty easy to pick out, not super fine?
Thank you,

FairThere seems to be a general misunderstanding about the meaning of my original post, probably poorly stated by me. I was not, nor would I ever say that a "buy-it-and-try-it" policy should be the norm, nor that dealers should "acquiesce to customer whims". My point is that a totally closed policy can be damaging to both the dealer's business and the customer's satisfaction. I would never expect a dealer to accept a return based only on "buyer's remorse". There is a small but important component of sales that sometimes results in the product being unsuitable for the customer, but is not due to a warranty issue. IMO, a dealer should be willing to discuss such a sale and make a reasonable decision, which will sometimes result in accepting a return. In such cases, the customer should have no issue with paying a reasonable restocking fee. Having over 40 years' experience in banking and business, I understand the challenges of running a small business, and how trying to compete with the high volume/low margin competition can be the kiss of death. You don't need to open the door to unreasonable customer demands and make poor management decisions, but you need to be willing to discuss the reasonable requests that might be a little outside the box. My experience has been that most dealers (in any business) are willing to do this regardless of fine print to the contrary.

@Airgun-RevisionsI'm wondering if anyone knows if the regulator in the Crosman Challenger (CH2021) can be adjusted up a little? I'm looking to make it to about 11.5ftlbs
thanks

Nice, that's good sized plenum! I'm hoping you can achieve what you're going for!I believe that it has a 63 cc plenum yes![]()
Great advice for sure. Hopefully your hand eye skill is better than mine. I found the amp reg an utter nightmare to work on. They will all fail at some point so that skill is a good one to develop. Still trying to decide myself to hang in there or completely break away from the platform. My last FX has 2 amp regs and the future gives me nightmares thinking about 2 to deal with. LolNot meant wrong in any way, have one myself, but If you have a Panthera or pretty much anything recently made by FX you will do yourself a favor by learning how to service them yourself, otherwise there's a half decent chance you end up having the gun sent out more than you actually get out and shoot it...
You're looking at replacing o ring(s) number 7 as seen on on page 5, which go on part 8 found on that same page;
You'll find out how to degass these on youtube.
Come back and tell the folks here after you have gone through a few low dollar compressors. You get what you pay for.
