If i were 50 years younger and still on our base shooting team things like that would be quite important. But I'm old, I shake and my eyesight sucks. So I'm much more interested in the aesthetics than the ergonomics. If the seller ever ships i will take ownership of a couple quite fetching examples of British air smithing. From around 2000-2002

Umarex  Notos with Huben valve expelled O ring leak

No, mine was the pre plenum model. At the time I bought it, last November, they hadn't yet offered the one that fixes all the original leaking valves and after they came out with the plenum dream valve I discovered they offered just the replacement plenum alone for it, so I tries to order it, not once but three times and they kept replying "If you purchased it from AliExpress it won't work because the threads are different". Which was ridiculous because if it screwed onto the gun, which it did, the threads weren't different, that aside, I told them once I bought it from a PCP/Airsoft dealer and they sent me back the same message again. So the second time, I sent them pics of the valve in and out of the box and the cover with all their logos and stuff. That must have pissed them off cause I never heard from them again. That's when I said screw it and just sold the bottle, & valve on ebay and put it back to stock! Just a heads up: Anyone buying on of the new dreams should go directly to Huben Power .com for it. It's $149.00 pus an outrageous shipping charge that comes to a total of $167 or so but that's still a LOT cheaper than getting it for $249 from a dealer.

something that might be of interest to the home hobbyist?

How to measure scope height?

I guess that I would have to ask:
If the scope is NOT optically centered, then would the video method be of any actual help?
For instance, if the crosshairs were well beyond optic center, up or down, then it would not be a true measurement, would it?
Kinda like measuring one-half of the scope tube and one-half of the barrel method, at least the SHOULD give a very close measurement.
I have used a flashlight to do the same thing (in a darkened area), shine the light through the scope at a piece of paper to 'extend' the crosshair, mark it with a pencil, then shoot the pellet like the video.

Rusty Barreled HW97K?

Hello , I wanted to help with this rusty barrel thing. I actually cleaned up a 1873 model ,vand this is how I did it
Use a electro rust removal first. Non abrasive , and works only on rust , and does not remove any metal. Then to clean after get some fine steel wool and push it through the barrel with a spinning type cleaning rod.
Simply push a small wad of the steel wool just like a cleaning wad. Roll it into a tapered shape with fingers, and work it through the barrel over , and over until the desired shine is reached.
For the outside clean with steel wool , and then clean very well , and dry then use Van's gun blue. It does not smell , and works great. Oil the blue with 3 in one , or Remington oil.
I fixed this model 1873 barrel this way , and it came out beautiful, and shot great.

FX  FX Panthera / Dynamic shooting in freezing weather

I have an FX Panthera 700 in .22. And I started to participate in NRL22 and PRS. I had some challenges with freezing weather here in Canada with -8 C. The AMP regulator got stuck at dropping at 8 bar from the set point and not regulating again after the next shot. Did the polishing of all components and dry lube the Belleville washers, but no improvement with the freezing weather. Once back in the shop with warmth, no problem. But a slight creep. I think that the indent in the X3-2 19696 Regulator piston caused this. So, I needed an upgrade and put in the Huma regulator. Installed the Huma and tried it again, shooting in freezing weather. But guess what? Again, the setpoint is regulating slowly from 8 to 9 bar up. I must admit that the Huma is better than the AMP when it is warm in the shop. But the regulator piston of the AMP regulator was worn....

So the question is, has anyone seen this before during freezing weather, where the regulator is slow or hesitant to regulate?

Hatsan  Hatsan .30 cal Carnivore died

To get it apart, a dummy pin yes. But not a press. With a dead Ram, getting it apart is simple. Installation, is where the press is needed. I know this is what you meant. Just want to clarify for the op. If you want to convert to a spring (I highly recommend) then you will need a heavy duty press. I built this one specifically for the 135. Then it can handle anything else.View attachment 526999View attachment 527000View attachment 527001
Thank you so much for this!

But can you please list the components you used to make this rig? Like what's the dimension of that threaded pipe and what's that, what appears to be a wrench/tube flange for a nut, honestly I have no idea what it is. Also what's the spacing in between the holes marked ABC... etc. on the board and in between the two rests. Any info on that would be much appreciated, or have you already posted these things somewhere and I've missed them completely?

Thanks for everything man, if anyone, I certainly appreciate your effort from the very bottom of my heart!
