Thanks I just got got 1500 slap slugs 26gr. Got regular set at 135 I’m getting 1025fps average think I’m got to back off a little grouping 2” at 85yrds thanks for the information

Ideal time for hobby runs now till rainy season in Spring, feels good to be on this side of it. WM

That depends on what rifle you have. For an Impact and Huma pin probe there isnt really any adjustment. There are other brand pin probes that have adjustable pins like the FX version. Or if you have a Wildcat/Maverick you can adjust the cocking assembly a little bit to move the whole probe, but can run into magazine fitment issues.

any thoughts? i have been using NSA .254 on my regular mags, it seems like the new red slug mags are sized for .249 and .250. Does it matter?

Another gun (FWB601).
Same pellet, distance, standing, offhand, 20 shots: RWS 8.2 WC.
Rear peep, front aperture.
I suspect a few of the shots went into the hole.
It is quite difficult to see the points even at 10 yards.

If you have a 7/8x14 thread press, you can buy these dies at a fraction of the cost. You can size slugs too that you cannot do with HPP dies:

This is an Air Gun Forum; someone comes here and says he does not like PCP because of the cost and hassle; he likes his powder burners.....sof888888what?
The point is we do not have to defend our choice. Yet we did; it was better to say nothing, yet I wrote here 3 times. I am a hypocrite. Why not go to a powder burner forum and say I do not like powder burners? I could list many reasons, but then I would be a double hypocrite, which is getting political.

Shot some more tests in different guns today and at different speeds.
RWB is top tin
Blue Gold is middle tin and
Spanish is bottom tin.

The Vixen was shooting the at 570. Vet Tactical 960 and Vet Std was 1020.

I haven’t seen this on the forums so I thought I’d share. Utah Airguns has a video on rebuilding the FX AMP Regulator. After you get that troublesome o ring out the hole, and the holes is cleaned out, put in the piston with enough belleville washers to reach the bottom of the o ring groove. It takes a few seconds to put the new o ring in using the washer stack to push against. Have a nice day.

I have the unregulated one and ditched the hammer and tube, cut a 2240 tube down so I could have the bolt cock the gun vs having to cock the hammer and then load it. This also gave me a better hammer strike. Even with a 10" barrel it's putting out 18 fpe not at coil binding and only 2200 psi.

I also gutted the valve in it since it has a huge spring seat and stiff spring.
