Cut a plastic water bottle to the circumference of the spring. Wrap around the spring and install that. It cuts down on vibration considerably.

Yes it made the trigger better, but I also added two lighter springs. One that came with the kit and the other from Talon tunes. Seemed the same springs. Not awesome, but better.

Headed out soon with the TalanP sporting its new 18” .25 barrel.

It was shooting about 13.5 fpe, so I shot a few hundred rounds to get the spring settled then cut the spring until I hit the 12 fpe mark. I needed to remove about 2 coils. Its so much nicer to shoot and easier to cock. I also cleaned up that leade. It didn't take but 20 minutes of light polishing. It's definitely a keeper! Now I need to find a proper Field Target stock. Here's the leade picture after clean up.

I shoot both of the 17.5 and 20.2 gr slugs from NSA in mine. Very accurate out to 100 yards which is my backyard limit.

My 2 cents that's not already stated . In my travels before retiring ,I found few "box stores" w/ anything other than Crosman & Gamo,which I don't use. Sportsman's
Warehouse has Norma . I agree w/ finding what works for the task at hand & buying where you find it/them. S W H is the only local box store for me , still 40
miles for me.I do have some dealers in PA a few hrs from me , but I still purchase most online either from them or Pyramyd Air, then place an order quantity that gives me at least one free item.

I very much want to take a Krait Lite and give it the same treatment I did with my Wildcat by switching the bottle to their smaller diameter air reservoir (like the 170cc FX air cylinder) in order to make room for a large diameter shroud and moderator combo.

A few times in the past, with other guns, I've had a pile of parts on the bench that I couldn't figure out how to get back into the gun because they fell out not knowing how they were oriented originally.

Same thing above happened also but it literally needed a jig to get back together so I had to ship it off, or if lucky, at minimum, took two people/four hands to get things back together again.

Then at other times it could take hours and hours deducing how I went wrong as well as hours of trial and error, that is if I didn't damage or lose a part or parts.

For example the Delrin washer between the fill valve and the part it screws into. I didn't see it fall out so no idea where it went???

Yes I'm paranoid, lol. I think I've been emotionally tortured trying to mod or fix guns, is why, LOL. OH crap here I am again, why can't I leave well enough alone, lol!

I'll say this, I'm better at this stuff than when I was younger and have learned the hard way about a lot of things!!! Pain is a good teacher.

Nope, never delved that far in.
My Ozark has been just about perfect at 170bar firing JTS Takedown 25.39gr pellets.
Was just shooting this morning (limited to 25 yards right now due to construction out back)
Was punching hole in hole with a few flyers due to some old man shaking.

How old does a 22lr barrel last ? 10s of thousands, hundreds ? Standard velocity target rounds 1050 fps, 42gr.
Non target shooters using high velocity at around 1400 fps not many people actually wearing out rim fires.
I would think Airguns even less

Yeah kind of a catch22 thing and it seems the FM match evens it out a little more compared to LR. It'll be interesting to see how the rest of the season turns out with guns, projectiles, and calibers. I think 20 cal will hold it's own, maybe pick up a few more hits closer in but might miss some of the longer ones compared to higher BC.

The ultrasonic idea sounds great!

I'd be VERY careful putting any lubricant in these, but might try a tiny amount of Ballistol. Excellent cleaner, and does not gum up over time.

Thanks for the report. I enjoy seeing reports in the middle of winter. It's a slow time for us up here in the north. Also nice to see you setting the course at a reasonable Troyer level. Even your low shooter got quite a few targets and nobody cleaned it. Lanes look nice too.
