Other  Silicone oil

I guess the take home message is that getting the oil into the fill fitting is a 50/50 (or maybe even a 0/100) thing. It does seem like it wouldn’t hurt anything and may help keep the o rings lubed if it does somehow get through the gun. In the end, I suppose I’ll know if I get an o ring failure and then it will be time to open things up for repair. I’ll get a drop into the fitting every so often and leave it at that.

Thanks for all of the replies and advice. Much appreciated.

New Member! Howdy!

Welcome. Those tactical looking types are not my cup of tea. I like traditional blue steel and walnut, have a AAtx200 in a walnut stock that is outstanding, and several HW springers in rather nice walnut stocks also. Everything else seems to be beech. I am by choice sticking mostly with springers, break barrel, side and underlever cocking. I do have a couple of single stroke pneumatic pistols and one older model in the mail that I hope to get in a couple of weeks. I suspect it will need some work but I anticipated that when I bought it.
Thanks for welcome! To each their own. I like traditional wood and steel weapons too. They're all great to me!

Airforce  .177 Condor dumping air

I have a couple AF rigs in .177 and play around a bit with the setups, but have only had dumps in higher calibers, when there was a lot of valve opening, relatively low tank pressure, and a projectile that needs a good push to get going.
As was said, most likely it is low tank pressure, and note the bottle gauge reading may not be accurate.
Double check that the breech slide fits snugly against the top hat when the gun is cocked and that the slide doesn't push the valve open a bit when it is "locked in" to one side or the other.
Check that there isn't stiction when opening or closing that breech slide. If there is, clean and lubricate.
Along with the "smaller transfer port" or orifice idea, try removing the hammer weight (metal cylinder between the spring and hammer), and just use the power wheel to preload the hammer. I find with the smaller caliber and at lower bottle pressures, this restores some ability to adjust power with the wheel.
An o-ring under the top hat will reduce valve dwell and may encourage the valve to close more positively.

went past a ranch once and the sheep had different color spray paint large dot on their backs , Some kind of code ?
The sheep has paint on it's back to show the shepherd that there is something special about this particular sheep that needs to be easily identified while standing at a distance. It could be that she has a mark because she's his favorite 😉😉

( I ad-libbed the last sentence)🤤

Umarex  Notos Magazine Problem/Issue

I'm surprised at all the hate for the Notos factory magazines. Is it mainly due to the low pellet count? I think the design is slick with the magnet built in to the bottom.
they just don't work well, I messed with the screw tension and got it to work better but still not as good as an aftermarket magazine, I have several Carm extra capacity mags and they work like a charm, I keep the stock one just for backup mags if I use up all my shots on the Carm's.

FX  Is the Crown Going Away?

I used to have a bunch of Crowns. Now only 2 - 1 each in .22 and .25. Most of the other ones have been sold to local friends who I got into airgunning. After trying out a Crown, they just had to have one.

I was wondering whether to keep or sell the last 2 I have. They don't get pulled from the gun rack often enough. But when they do they never disappoint. And if there is even the potential of FX discontinuing them, I will definitely keep them. Would not want to be 'Crownless'.

Yes, some of the less flashy FX guns (or maybe ones which don't have as good of a margin when FX sells them...?) may be going away. I've noticed that it is nearly impossible to get a Dreamline Classic with any wood stock these days (other than a LH GRS). Thankfully the DL Classic synthetic stock is darned good (and actually much better for field work, IMHO). To me the DRS definitely doesn't replace the Dreamline Classic, but that may be the way things go in the market. Glad I grabbed another DL Classic in .22 a few months back when Utah Airguns was having a great sale on them, with free shipping. Maybe the start of closing them out??? I won't be selling any more DL Classics off either.

It is funny how some guns may not be "the best" at everything, or anything. But on the other hand you don't want to be without them either. They are just comfortable.

Skout  New Skout Epoch COMPACT (17 inch LW Barrel on and EPOCH!) Video

Wait, you have a TR7? How is this possible? Those cars rusted out faster than a paper bag decomposes 😀 I wanted one so bad..
I got a survivor. Some guy combine that 76 with an 81 so it has a 5 speed. Hard top doesn't really leak so no rust. Great car. Just too noisy.
