I backed off the hammer spring about 1/4 turn to get the numbers. Happy that all three pells perform so well. Accuracy is better than me with all three.
I'll be Leaving it alone. I'm just going to have a good time with it. May end up with a Standard Krait at a later date but UA doesnt have any. Im not sure what tariffs will do to us .
Thanks again for all your help and advice. I learned a lot just by being here.
CHEERS and Happy Labor day weekend.
Awesome. That gun a few degrees of hammer tension are the borderline dissecting disappointment from thrill. Great spot.

Seneca/Sam Yang  Seneca dragonfly mk2 , pumps pressure but do not shot

I am willing to bet, that the very small set screw on the bottom of the trigger, (very hard to see) is loose and has moved in/shortened (part # 39) .

If so, then when the trigger is pulled, it will NOT move the sear (Part # 36) enough to release the hammer, when cocked.
This set screw can be adjusted to effect the trigger pull movement.

Make sure that this setscrew is Blue Loctited before final assembly,
to stop any movement..

To see this set screw, take a strong beamed flashlite and look under the bottom trigger and sear part.
You can see the end of the set screw bearing against the sear arm..

To have access to this set screw, pull the trigger and insert a proper size nail between the pressure tube and the end of the sear, (there is a small hole/space there), release the trigger to hold the nail in place.

Then very carefully remove the trigger pin (part # 34), the pin closest to the long safety nose/part. After removal of this pin, the trigger will slide forward
and you can adjust this set screw LONGER for proper release of the sear.

Caution, all these pin are loose and can fall out and get lost, (4 out of the 5 rifles I have) have been loose.
Use Blue loctite/finger nail polish to retain them in the trigger housing,
and or very lightly smash the end flat. enough to move the metal (one side only), then carefully seat the pin flush with the housing, to hold the pin there..

What's your favorite .25 pellet/slug

I really like (or my guns really like) AEA 22 caliber pellets. But I have not tried their 25 caliber pellets yet. I ordered some 177 AEA pellets today. 25s will probably be next.

My lower power 25 is sighted in for 25.4 grain FX or JSB pellets and shoots them pretty accurately. My other two 25s shoot 34 grain FX or JSB pellets pretty well. I killed a raccoon with one of the 34 grain but the only 25 caliber I've used on squirrels is the little 20 grain H&N FTT. It took 18 cleanly when I had my P35-22 tuned down to 32 fpe. It isn't very accurate in any of my 25s as they are tuned currently.
Both the AEA .25 Slugs 30.2gr and Pellets 33.9gr work great in both my Maverick VP and Raptor. The Raptor will shoot the AEA heavier slugs 49.2 but, no need and it sounds like it's really stressing the gun more than I like and sucks air like crazy.

Looking for reference books.

In addition to 'Air Rifles' and 'Air Pistols' by Dennis Hiller, and 'The Airgun Book' by John Walter as mentioned above (these all had multiple editions), a couple other useful ones are:
'Gas, Air, & Spring Guns of the World' by W.H.B. Smith - from the late 50's and pretty comprehensive
'Air Guns and Air Pistols' by L. Wesley - mostly on British and European stuff

If you have a specific area of interest, other more focused books may be appropriate.

N/A  Fill Port Silicon Oil

I think the many lubes available are confusing as it relates to silicone. For example, the Super Lube Multi-Purpose Synthetic Grease does not contain silicone, although it is routinely confused with the company's silicone based grease. I've decided to err on the conservative side and just don't use silicone in my air rifles and firearms.
I think that people are confusing the term "silicone" as indicating some product or class of products. What is it that "silicone" indicates that doesn't require more indepth information to describe the product in question? Silicone is an element in the same relative area as carbon on the periodic table.

Anyone think they have no rats or night pests in their back yard and then bought a Night scope and got a surprise?

I know there are Fox, Racoons and other assorted small game running through my yard every night. I can hear them and they each have a distict sound.

Amazon will not ship any night vision scopes to California. I wonder if there are other companies that might. Guess I could always take a ride over to Nevada.

First time out to 200 yards with Panthera and Altaros

I find you need to well into the plateau to minimize speed variations from minor differences in hammer strike.
I’ve read “tune just below the knee” so many times, but it sounds like you’re saying lower thigh. Sorry, couldn’t resist but still completely serious.

Modified the Marauder .22 magazine to accept Polymags

Nice work and ingenuity. Have you heard the good word of the polymag shorts, brother? Your mag is modified, but I've noticed the same mass in a shorter package plays nicer with certain barrels and twist rates. I leave this comment less for you and more for lurkers, but nothing wrong with modifying your cap so you can shoot longer pal projectiles and have fun experimenting. Great idea of using the caps screw bore as a pivot and using your drill press as a nice lower speed router.
Yup, "Shorts" she didn't like them at all.
