Now that I understand how much swaging the diabolo undergoes in the bore:

1. Based on the pellet's alloy and deminsions.

2. And how the swaging affects the external ballistics of the pellet.

3. It makes sense that out of 15 different .177 types (weight & size) of pellets I have now tested:

a. 2 different types of pellets, each at a different FPE, are very accurate at 20 yards from my M3. - H&N, RWS

b. 2 different types of pellets, each at a different FPE, are very accurate at 20 yards from my Thomas BR. - H&N, JSB

FX  Maverick sprung a big leak

you guys talking about silicone oils, reminded me, i have stopped buying those.
Not that they are not needed, buy you see i have plenty of them and in a range of viscosities, CUZ it is the same oil that is used in RC car shock absorbers.

So i have like 5 different viscosities to choose from, from water like to OMG thick

FX Impact M3

Impacts are good guns, I've had a few. Depends on what you wanna shoot. For slugs, id go with the M4. Big plenum, lots of power.
For pellets, id go Mk2 or M3. The Mk2 is the one I keep because it shoots pellets great. The M3 can help if you really shoot loe 2nd reg pressure. But it's not mandatory. The power plenum or 720 on the mk2/m3 are plenty for pellets.
My mk2 properly tuned will shoot with any pellet rifle made. I traded off my m3.
Thanks for responding, i agree my MKII .30 Cal shoots 44.75 pellets great and after fine tuning it, is very accurate. Never had an M3, and also never had any Experience with slugs but what you just said with the bigger plenum with regards to slugs it for sure makes sense more power to move the heavier slugs. Thanks again.

50% off Rx Target Systems faceplate w/purchase of Rx Bull Challenge

Brief video showing shooting the target. You may attach pull string to reset arm or manually pull reset arm to reset paddles. Entry level target rated to 30 footpounds at the muzzle for 20 yards for reliable function. Paddles fall with as little as 4 footpounds of energy at the target. Advanced level target is for high power and has reliably functioned with 60 footpounds at 25 yards. Either target system can accommodate the different face plates. They just differ in their paddle thickness(1/8“ vs 5/16”). Contact me at [email protected] with questions if need. Can set up phone call.

Skout  A look at my New Skout EVO .22 (Black) Video

What's the rail you're using?
Yes, it comes on the gun. It's just the Evo Arca Rail. Included free of charge.

EDIT: Sorry! I don't see it on the picture at PY Air but I don't see it in the accessories section either. I just ordered an Evo without looking too close. My guess is it's included on the PY Air Version:

...I don't know how else it would have got on there. I got the black 25 inch w/ LW barrel, (+case and bottle) for $2650 from PY Air, no mention of any rails.

But actually you probably have to buy it from Skout. That's what DevilsLuck (member) did. I'm confused as usual.

Brocock/BRK  Brocock commander XR issues and questions

Thank you all for the replies. At this point I will fill to 230 and see how it does. And I will also try and get new linkage.
@Jinx3Mt I hope you see the desired result. I also suggest paying attention to the set pressure of your regulator. More specifically watch the regulator gauge upon filling the rifle to see if it moves as the reservoir gauge approaches the 225-230 bar mark. For parts AOA should be able to help. If not contacting BRK directly may help to get you what you need.

Problem with Garmin Chrono

This may be a fluke or a problem with an update, so I'm not too excited yet, and I will call Garmin and ask about it, but I just wondered if anyone else has noticed this.

Sometimes, when I end a string, it doesn't show up in the history on the unit. If my phone is near, it always downloads to my phone, even though I can't see it on the chrono. If I power down the chrono and back on, then the string shows up on it.

Anyone have this happen?
I assume mine has the latest firmware, as it is automatic and I've seen it do it one time since I had it.

Daystate  ISO current Delta/Alpha Wolf settings

Sorry Michael,
They are kind of lazy or just stupid at Daystate America - they could easily have saved your custom setups prior to the update - and restored your custom setups after the update.
But anyway all your speeds would have changed after they installed the the ultra firing valve.
I have redone all my custom factory mode programs two times now in my Delta Wolf .177 HP - and it takes time.....
First when i installed the ultra firing valve - I experienced major changes -especially in the lower fpe programs.
Then second time after i opened the transfer port and installed a 1.5 mm pinprope again major speed and power increase.
The speed increased so much that it came out of the +100 / -100 fps that it demands to for the rifle to self correct the speed.

To find the Pulse width and Volt that i need I created 10 custom Advanced programs named T1 to T10

All test programs gradually increasing from pulse 1700 / 58V up to pulse 2500 73V.
This is in principe the range I need from 8 fpe up to +35 fpe.

I use these T1 to T10 to to find the data i need to enter in my custom Factory mode programs.
I test like this:

When i test 8-10 gr pellets or slugs I test shoot program from T1 up to T4 or T5
When i test around 13 gr. pellets or slugs I test shoot programs from T3 up to T5 or T6
When i test shoot 16 gr. pellets or slugs I test shoot programs from T4 up to T7
When i test shoot 20 gr. pellets or slugs I test shoot from T6 up to T10

Every time i fire 4-5 shots and note the speed i get when shooting the actual program.

With the speeds that i got from tests hooting, it is easy to enter custom factory mode programs on my Laptop PC for each Pellet type or slug type i tested.

Afterwards I upload all my custom programs to the rifle and now I can as example select JSB Knockout 13.43 Gr in the rifle enter a speed like 880 fps and it finds any speed i enter after 4-5 shots.
If i keep shooting at that specific speed I entered, it will automatically save the Pulse width and the voltage needed to reach that speed as soon as the rifle has shot 4 consecutive shots within -4 fps to +4 fps of the requested speed.
So the next time i take the rifle out It already knows the settings needed to set the correct speed.

And with the (Please forgive me for saying this) poor regulator, that drops the regulator pressure 5-8 bar when shooting from 250 bar to 180 bar - the Factory mode do not care - it does a great job holding the same speed all the way down to close to the reg. pressure.

I love the Factory mode......

So a little pre-work and you will have the Worlds most easy rifle to tune and use.

Sorry I do not own a .25 cal so you will not get any help getting my custom Advanced and factory mode programs for my .177
But its same stuff. In the beginning I tested all speeds guessing pulses and voltage by trying and testing - With my T1 to T10 it is much easier.

N/A  5M Pistol equivalent of Avanti 499B

@boscoebrea , I have a 717, 2x 777s and a 46M. I was shooting my adult Red Ryder yesterday when my friend who has a 499B among other air guns, asked me if there was a pistol companion gun to the Daisy lever BB rifles. I didn't know but now that I look after Christmas I may search around for a Daisy Mdl 177 or 188 for no earthly good reason other than I am a FAFO sort of guy.

I have been looking for moderators for a HW50 and possibly a HW95. I checked the wolf site and didn’t see these. Is there website a bit out of date? If not, do you happen to know who else might have them, my googling hasn’t yielded any results.
This is a front brake muzzle For he 97 I just adapted it to the 48 , which barrel it’s 15 mm , there is picture of the one muzzle brake you can get ,

Astigmatism

If in doubt that you have astigmatism and are having trouble seeing that perfectly round red dot, look through your optics with cell phone camera. It should be that round dot and not an asteroid. I thought I got a bad red dot on a Sig pistol, called the dealer and he told me to try it. I have hell at night driving because the headlights on on-coming vehicles starburst at me. I'm blind in one eye and can't see out the other. Just kidding luckily.

Protecting scope from ring marks?

I think on pcp's most people i know tighten them way more than needed. You'd be amazed how little torque is needed. Try taking an old cheap scope and see for yourself, lightly tighten and try to turn the scope. No torque screwdriver needed.
Springers are another animal altogether. That's where a torque screwdriver could be handy. Friction tape also helps too.
